Reason given for your ban: Exploiting

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: After being notified on receiving a permanent ban i was unsure about what this could have been for, After explaining my recent RP to other players in hopes for enlightenment i was made aware that its is not allowed to make g6/Police put items in a glove box to avoid them being broken. I believe this is the reason for my ban.
I don't recall this being in the rules when i initially read them so i went and had another quick skim through and still can't see anything that directly collates, maybe its just bad judgement on my behalf. if i knew this was an rule i would 100% never have broken it as i love this server and would hate to be banned. I try to provide quality RP and i have been complimented on doing so. I apologize for any issues i may have caused and can say that it will not happen again because now i know this is not allowed

Why should we unban you ?: I don't want this to come across as demanding or anything like that but because i saw no direct rule for this i truly had no clue whatsoever and i apologize for my ignorance. Thanks for taking the time to read my appeal

The direct rule for this is that you have exploited the game mechanics to gain an advantage.

Please tell me and explain why you told the G6 officer to place his items into a vehicle rather than either dropping them or handing them to yourself?

To be completely honest with you there are several reasons why i thought this allowed. After holding up a few police officers in an attempt to obtain a firearm i noticed they were breaking, I then went on to ask someone within the city why this happens and he told me that its because it hits the floor and brakes and if i want a working one I'd have to get one from a glove box.

In this particular instance me and a friend were in paleto bay when we saw a G6 member near the key store when i began to initiate a robbery, After requesting him to raise his hands i decided i also wanted his vehicle as my characters nick name is Abu sticky fingers because i'm always stealing peoples cars lol. Any how... I began to search him and this is when i said something along the lines of "oh you have a lot, place it in the glove box and then get out the car" after this interaction i got in his vehicle and left.

I did not in any way mean to break the rules here and I'm very sorry for have doing so. A combination of misinformation and bad judgment has lead me and my friend to where we stand right now so i'd also like to apologize to him also because i was the "leader" of that situation.

Who told you to get a firearm out of a glovebox?

 
It was just a random guy i approached a couple of days before i was banned, When i first got to the city and wanted to ask questions i would use OOC but people would respond "find out in RP" so this is what i did.

 
Did you think it would be okay to bypass something like this?

Wording it differently if this was a feature in the game did you not think it's wrong to find a way around the weapons breaking?

 
Well now that i know it's an intentional feature i would say of course not. If i even knew it was a bannable offence i would never have done it, it's not worth not being able to play the server as far as i'm concerned, I'm not sure if the guy who told me this was also misinformed or if he was just trolling me. all i know is from now on i'll always have better judgment

You knew the breaking function was in the server.

 
Thanks for your reply  I literally had no clue honestly, I'm fairly new to RP and this is the first community I've been a part of. From i was told it breaks cause it hits the floor and i should get one from a glove box my mind pieced together a false idea of why its a mechanic in the first place. I really had no clue i was bypassing a balancing feature, Now its been made clear to me why this is and i feel like I've been made a fool of to tell the truth. Again i really do apologize for the actions that led to me and my friend receiving a ban.

What is their dream?

 
My plans are to continue developing my character, so far i have built a strong foundation and other characters within the city know me for my antics. going forward from this i aim to become affiliated with some of the bigger groups and do odd jobs for them but mainly I just wanna go with the flow and create rich RP situations for myself and other players. I understand that this is a community and we all must work together to make it this the best city it can be.

and how in future you will make sure this never happens again.

To ensure fair play and to make sure everybody share's the same advantage/disadvantage

To mitigate this happening again i promise make more informed decisions and to have overall better judgement.

Why do you think this rule is important on the server overall? You don't seem to understand the implications of the rule you have broken...

Exploiting is arguably one of the most severe rulebreaks on the server...

I'll be honest with you @Siren. I have a general idea which just falls under common sense but you might be right in saying i don't fully understand the implications of the rule i broke, If this is something you can fill me in on I'd be very grateful cause at the end of the day having a thorough understanding of the rules is make or break in this community and it's an opportunity to learn and possibly teach. Whether intentional or not i still broke a rule and i do apologize, I also understand this creates a knock on effect causing a character to become less immersed due to having to rectify what happened to them or to place a report. This has just been one huge mistake and I feel gutted.

 
@NB2SLAPPYExploiting in any way especially when it comes to money/items has the potential to completely ruin the economy and unbalance the game overall.

Exploiting in general creates an unfair playing field using game mechanics to bypass a system we have in place for a reason...

Now tell me why we should unban you, what can you bring to this community in terms of roleplay potential? You said you wanted to create "create rich RP situations" for yourself and others. Give me an example?

 
@SirenYeah i totally understand you, that was my general understanding too. thanks for making it more transparent.

My character Abu loves to joke and make people laugh, At the moment i plan on developing connections and becoming known so i can go on to host events which people can attend, such as parties and car meets/cruises. places we can all go and interact with each other rather than everybody always fighting and such.

These are just a couple of examples of situations i'd like to create in the grand scheme of things, i do believe the majority of interactions should not be scripted or planned, I find going with the flow seems to provide the most fun for everybody.

Again I'd also like to say that i in know way thought this was exploiting and that i'm and idiot for making such a poor decision based on poor information. what i did is not worth receiving a ban for and if i knew this i just flat out wouldn't have done it. for the last week I've been refreshing the ban appeal page every half an hour hoping I'll be accepted back into the community for this stupid mistake.

I'm willing to give you a chance to prove yourself.. However, the items you have received by exploiting the system we have in place will have to be removed from your person, where are they stored?

Thanks ever so much i wont let the community down.

Just some information that might be useful for finding the items. 

The items i received are as follows.

1x Glock

1x Police baton

1x bean bag launcher

60 pistol bullets

1x taser but my friend who was also banned has this

the items are all stored in my van and my tornado i believe  

Appreciate this so much thanks
