In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I have been banned for breaking a rule that goes under NLR during a situation with cutlass at pillbox.

Why should we unban you ?: Firstly i would like to start this unban appeal by apologizing to the staff that had to deal with the report and also to the people involved with the situation that led to me being here.
The whole situation started off after being revived from pillbox and heading straight to the ranch, i had gone straight to the ranch to wait out a 15 minute timer to which then i can return to combat in a different situation. Whilst waiting at the ranch for my timer to end I had realized that I left my phone and radio and also drugs (maybe some other stuff too) in my deeper slots of the inventory which I had forgot to take out when first originally leaving pillbox. After leaving pillbox for the second time with the items in my inventory that I had first initially forgot about I drive off towards auto exotic.

Before even making it to auto exotic I had seen a white jester and a sandy brown jester head straight past me and towards pillbox (where I had just come from). I now had my phone and radio so i decided to turn on my radio and jump onto the frequency and call it out for the people that had not been downed or for the people that wouldn't be breaking NLR to reach out and make a chase on these people. At this point Raj had drove up to pillbox and seen them, shot them, and drove up to them leaving me to grab a body and put him in the boot. At this point I had thought to myself If I had been breaking any rules or doing anything that I shouldn't have, I had realized that I could have been breaking NLR that is why i had asked on radio on Rajs updated location to put the cutlass in Rajs car and not involve myself with this situation again.

After leaving this situation I had gone back to the ranch to finish off my time with the NLR countdown which is when the situation had ended and so did my timer making my role play continue to normal.
I would like to say that I took no part in killing or downing the cutlass during the situation as i knew that it would have been breaking NLR and did not want to do it. I genuinely thought that no rule was broken at the end of it all and that if a rule was broken that I had left the situation immediately after realizing that I should not be engaging in any situations as such after being revived.

This rule is in place because if it was not people would abuse the fact that you can get revived and go straight back into a situation and in other words have another chance at it. This rule is also in place so that the server isnt more on the fragging side and is a calmer environment to role play in and at then end of the day have fun.

If the same scenario was to take place I would have left pillbox as normal after collecting the items that I had forgotten and went to The Coalition Ranch as usual, if I had seen the cutlass cars I would call it out on radio but not engage in any sort of way with the scenario, instead just head straight to a safe spot and wait out my timer.

I would like to add that my last ban was 3 months ago and although i have stated that I would not end up here again I have and I am not proud of it.

Over the past few months (soon to be a year), you've gathered rather big reputation in RPUK with your records,

All of this in the span of a few months, that shines a certain light on you, doesn't it? - When will this behavior improve / change? 
You were given a chance after chance, how many more chances do you need before we notice this improvement? 

 

I would like to say that I took no part in killing or downing the cutlass during the situation as i knew that it would have been breaking NLR and did not want to do it. You going back to Pillbox to retrieve your goodies (phone, radio, etc), and reporting it on the radio for person B to go and deal with it, are you sure you took no part in killing or downing the cutlass members? None at all? This is still a combat situation, which you have directly involved yourself in, no?

Hello @Mike Wolfie, appreciate the response as always. 

Looking at this from your perspective now and the amount of bans and warnings i have collected, it does seem like it is not worth trusting me but a person always makes mistakes and in the instance that led me to being here today i genuinely had no intention on breaking any rules.

All of this in the span of a few months, that shines a certain light on you, doesn't it?

Certainly does, not a bright light either.

When will this behavior improve / change? 
You were given a chance after chance, how many more chances do you need before we notice this improvement? 

In all honesty since I have started playing roleplay.co.uk I have matured more and took it seriously and made many connections within the city. Your right, I was given multiple chances and now it has kicked in how many times I have been banned and warned about my actions making me reflect on situations that have led me to this and how i should've acted as within the situations.

Agreed, i did take part what I meant was that my character had no combat involved at pillbox but rather putting a cutlass in a boot and if I can recall also taking his phone and radio. After taking a punishment for my actions I have now realized and learnt that putting someone from a gunfight into your boot is also considered as breaking NLR because you become a primary target of the situation for taking a member of the opposition which could lead me to going into combat. 

If this situation was to take place again I would let the other members of The Coalition deal with it and take care whilst I try to remove myself from the area into a safe place like the ranch and allow role play to take its course.

Recently my character Ali Goob has joined The Coalition and it is the first whitelisted gang within the server, ever since I have had more opportunities and a wider range of role play to commit too which I admire and like to fulfill. I feel like I have gained more guidance from more experienced people of the server and also how my character should handle certain situations.

You're right, people makes mistakes, I've been there, you've been there, it's human to make mistakes. 
But how many chances will we need to give you? 
Why was the radio and phone so important, do you not have any available storage at Coalition? - Was there no alternative motive?

What kind of certain situations should you character handle? 
What is the RP you've been providing to the people on the server so far?

In all honesty I believe this is the last of it and the last of Ali Goob's appearance on the ban section of the forums.
 

Why was the radio and phone so important, do you not have any available storage at Coalition? - Was there no alternative motive? 

It wasn't more so about the phone an radio but I was more lenient on grabbing the 100+ Cocaine that I had at pillbox in the bottom of my inventory which led me to return to pillbox.

The rule that I had broke and highlighted which parts I believe that I have broke:
 

(G4.5) When you have been revived:

• You have been given medical treatment and must continue to roleplay your injuries with the medical treatment in mind.
  
• When you are being treated by a medic, you must be mindful that you have just been injured and you must not just run off after you have been revived unless there is a strong roleplay reason to do so.
  
• Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.
  
• Due to your injuries, you must not enter any combat situation until at least 15 minutes have passed, unless an aggressor forces you into combat, in which case you must still roleplay your injuries.
  
• Due to your injuries, you must not re-enter the combat situation that caused you to be downed, unless an aggressor forces you into combat. Deliberately placing yourself in a position that would re-enter you into that combat situation is not allowed.
  

If I am missing anything in the highlighting about what parts I broke in the situation please educate me and expand my knowledge by telling me also which other parts were broken from a different perspective, Thanks.

What kind of certain situations should you character handle? 

My character is able to role play every situation to make it an enjoyable experience for both parties but narrowing it down my character cant handle situations with firefighters and the army in rpuk because the knowledge and previous roleplay scenarios have not been done for my character to handle them however situations that I can roleplay the best with others is selling cocaine to others and materials such as iron, cut wood, steel etc.
I will give an example of the following.

'Someone has called me asking for 1000 cut cocaine'
'I send them a GPS at a discreet location narrowing the chances of police viewing this scenario'
'When they arrive I take the money In cash then to deposit it as money for a different item which also narrows the chances of police being able to track this'
'Once the Cash has been received I proceed to high quality roleplay for both parties of the situation'
'I open the passenger door, do the mechanic emote and /me reverses seat back and grabs backpack from under passenger seat'
'/me hands it over to person'

That is one of the examples of high quality role play that I have provided to many people rather than simply taking a bank transfer and handing the cocaine over without involving both parties in such high roleplay.
 

What is the RP you've been providing to the people on the server so far?

My character Ali Goob has provided role play for near enough every gang/group within the server going from car transactions, selling drugs, role playing my injuries of being fainted and dead with NHS, being tased constantly and making a weird noise for 30+ seconds  , multiple fun police chases, acting as a mechanic and doing the appropiate emotes to make it as realistic as possible.
 

What is the story of your character, his goals, his weaknesses, give me a little bit of lore about Ali Goob, I'd like to get to know that character. 

Ali Goob's Story:
Started off as a very poor homeless man in the south of Los Santos was a kind character, at one point he bumped into a 'plug' that was able to sort him out with sativa and other drugs, the deals were to good to refuse and Mr Goob being in the place that he was financially he had o take the offer and spent his only amounts of money on drugs, started selling the drugs and thought he was making a fortune however the police was always onto him and catching him making him gain reputation in the drug world. He then took a couple hours out of his day to specialize on escape routes which would almost guarantee his escape. Finding out the suitable escape routes enabled him to make more money then ever cancelling the risk of getting caught. His goals were to buy a small house and use it as a storage for all the drugs that were being distributed to people and the NPC's. This made Ali Goob his first million however on the way to this million Ali Goob had gotten raided losing most drugs and other items that were considered illegal such as knifes, PNC's etc.

After the first million Ali Goob had a week of selling and buying cars, didn't make profit so realized It was not for him so he chose a gang path with his life and had indulged himself with a gang known as NLB (The Bloods)
This was his first Gang and had no knowledge about the life that he was going to get himself involved in however he had a gang war with Syndicate during the time and this furthered his knowledge on guns  that he would use to fight Syndicate. This war ended in a significant loss and leaving him to leave the Bloods and go solo for a while. During the solo period Ali Goob had joined the one and only Changaloas and remained a member for around 5 months going through a War with Marabunta Grande ending in a truce and leaving the Changaloas because of internal issues. During this entire time the police were keeping an eye out for Ali Goob and a judge had a finalized jail sentence for Ali Goob which was 5000 months which really made him reflect about the life that he was living and that it wasn't a bright life. The voice in his head had told him to continue and one day he would make it, at this point of his life nearly everyone knew who Ali Goob was and the life he was living. A mate from the Bloods (Deano) had told me to try out the coalition and since my characters has good interactions with Deano and fun RP scenarios he decided to go to The Coalition making it the first whitelisted gang that he had joined which allowed him to do certain things that he would not be able to do in non-whitelisted gangs.The coalition was different because it was more of a business approach to RP then a gang approach  which was where Ali Goob felt it was just right to be also including the good environment and people around him. To this day he is still a criminal and hates the police for doing him dirty multiple times.

A combat situation includes a situation that is ongoing that consists of weapons and fights, this means that once you are out of pillbox avoiding all situations that could lead you into combat such as making sure you get to safety first and not take the chances of going into combat, also someone else swearing at you, I would avoid it to not go into combat. However looking back at your question giving comms for a combat situation and following a convey of multiple gang cars would also be including yourself in the situation.

In the scenario that led me here assisting a combat situation such as putting someone in a boot and driving off with them would also be including yourself in a combat situation and breaking NLR.

Let's say for the sake of fairness, same situation, you get out of hospital, you're at Coalition turn and you realize "Oh shit, I forgot my stuff" - What do you then?
Also given your record, I want to put some restrictions on you, that I will be monitoring. 
I want to see the highest of quality of RP from you. 
If you're permanently banned again in the next 6 months, you will not be able to appeal said ban for 3 months minimum. 
Let's say you're banned again on the 15/08/2023 you will not be able to appeal it till 15/11/2023, do you agree?

I would go to pillbox, grab my items safely, exit pillbox and once I have seen cutlass I would just completely ignore it as it may cause me to be forced into combat and rather continue driving to The Coalition Ranch and wait my timer in a safe location.

Considering you got injured at Arcade, then get revived and leave Pillbox. 
Why not fully dedicate yourself to leaving, and pick the items at a later date, considering Pillbox has become a hot-zone, sooner or later Cutlass and Coalition alike would be dumped at Pillbox, no? - I think the safest route would be to just wait out the timer at the Ranch, or somewhere safe from any combat, and pick up the items at a later date. (15 minutes or so).  - I would love to hear your opinion on this ^ 

I would consider that the SAFEST option, but that's just me. 
Maybe you might consider it a safer option now too? 

I'm assuming at that time you were in your Coalition clothing, so if Cutlass saw you, surely they'd go after you, which presents you with another situation, they will not just go "Ah let him go" considering all that beef that is happening.

To be honest with you, you are right, thinking back over it now it could have been one of the routes taken, i didn't know that pillbox would have been a hot spot for Cutlass and Coa when I went their to get my items for the second time. Most fights end with body's taken to the hospitals in Sandy or Paleto instead of the one in the city, reason for this is that it is more discreet which is another reason on why I did not think of it how you have just worded it out. I could have also waited 15 minutes to return back to pillbox to grab my items but with the way on how many bugs there are right now on grabbing your items from pillbox I could not risk losing it.

Maybe you might consider it a safer option now too? 

Yes, looking back at the way you have worded it, it sure does seem like a relatively safe option to take and the route i would take if the situation was to re-occur.

I was not in coalition clothes, at the time I was wearing white shorts and topless with no gang mask to hide my identity and  to try and ensure I was not forced into a combat.
However, I understand that I have put myself into a forced combat situation but also know how to handle myself correctly if the same situation was to re-occur.

Yes, i will not regret the claims I made.

Will I see you in Coalition, a month from now on? Two months from now on? 

In my opinion, unless I was to get kicked out of The Coalition I  see my full time being here, you never know what could happen in rp, but for the foreseeable future I see it as a permanent place.
 

what are your plans in Coalition. 

To gain reputation, have a higher responsibility within The Coalition and become a filthy rich business man in roleplay.

To summarize it all, I am glad that you're now seeing the error of your ways and I do hope you take great steps to keeping yourself on the right path, I do believe you can provide good roleplay if you put your back into it, don't let me down!

- If you're permanently banned again in the next 6 months, you will not be able to appeal said ban for 3 months minimum.
