Reason given for your ban: C2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because I logged out of the server while I was dead. I had died during an attempted kidnapping that went wrong and after I had been killed the guy ran off and I assumed the RP situation was over. As it was about 1am I decided that I needed to log off as I had work the next morning.

Why should we unban you ?: Hi RPUK staff,

I'd like to firstly like to apologise for combat logging and breaking the rule C2.3

I had no intention of combat logging and in hindsight I should of finished the RP situation before logging out. At the time of logging out I hadn't realised the weight of the consequences for doing such actions. Over the course of the last 2 months I have had time to reflect over my actions and believe that I have learnt my lesson.

If unbanned ill insure to never repeat my actions as I know how easily it can ruin others RP experience.

And once again I apologise for my actions and the time I'm taking out your day to review my unban request

Hello Mike,

I hope you are doing well today.

The above is in no way, shape or form templated. I would not put my chances of a successful appeal in jeopardy with doing such actions. Before I wrote this I looked over other appeals to learn how to write them and what to include. I found out that due to this matter being such a serious ban as combat logging I wanted to be formal. I understand this can come through as not me writing, but it is certainly my own words, and my own words only.

Right, @Mr Korma
I'm going to give you a golden chance. 
But first, to avoid the possibility of your character gaining an advantage through the Combat Log, I will clear the inventory to simulate a 'respawn'. 
 

Note that any rule-break within the next six months, will land you back here in the appeals section, as per the 'Fair Bans System', your next ban within that time period will be a permanent ban. 
If, however, you are caught Combat Logging again. No matter the timeframe, you will not only be permanently banned and require an appeal, you'll be given an automated 3-month cooldown before allowed to appeal at all. A successful appeal for another combat logging ban will also prove very difficult for you to return from, please keep this in mind.

 

In future, should you need to leave while in role play, incapacitated or in any other state that is outlined under "C2.3 - Combat Logging" - follow the appropriate steps before doing so.
1) Inform relevant parties in OOC Chat.
2) Inform staff in TeamSpeak Support Channels.

3) Inform staff in a Discord Ticket.
