Why do you think you were banned: After seeing the announcement in Discord I now know that I've been banned for 3rd person shooting. I'm extremely disappointed that I've found myself here as I've never intentionally used this to gain an advantage over another person, and the fact that I have a report up against someone that I believe has used this an advantage against me.

To my knowledge I can only remember 3rd person shooting on two occasions and I assume they are the reasons I've found myself here, both times was honest mistakes and both times I was being shot at, I'm not saying it was ok to do it because I was taking fire but that it was just impulse to pull my gun and aim in instantly and sort it out after I had shot which I now regret. I was put under a lot of pressure and stress during these situations because of the roleplay behind the shooting, and as being a gang member I felt I had the responsibility to protect me and my friends solely because they have that trust in me.

I would like to add that my character was a part of Ballas for at least 6 months and was in a fair few gang fights to say the least, we had wars with Grove and Aztecas and even a lot of Police fights during my time there and not once had I used 3rd person shooting, I even have multiple clips (10+) of me using 1st person to get kills (mainly Aztecas as decamping was a part of the Grove war rules, I could provide these clips if needed but I understand that this doesn't change the fact.)

I apologise for the inconvenience I've caused with this ban and I hope I can return to the server soon.
Why should we unban you: So firstly I believe I should be unbanned as I hope that by looking at my ban record you will see that I've never been banned or reported before.

Secondly, my character has provided a lot of quality roleplay on the server whether it being my armour business I had in the early days where me and a friend sold to a lot of gangs, roleplay with The Lost selling materials which I've done throughout my time here or roleplay as a member of Ballas or as part of Sanders Motorcycles which I run with a friend.

Sanders has been up and running since 25/09/23 and although we have been on and off we've sold 188 motorbikes, have a gross profit £8,776,000 and a net profit of £5,016,000 (after transfers.) I understand that this may be irrelevant information but my reasoning behind adding this is that we've put a lot of hard work into Sanders and take pride in what we've achieved so far over the 8 months we've been in business. I've roleplayed with almost every group in the city selling bikes and even people that are new to the server or not part of a group. Furthermore I've had many good roleplay experiences with The Lost MC / Custom Motorcycles which have provided us with a lot of bikes and to add to that we managed to strike a deal with Tire Nutz that allowed us to bring repairs to customers as part of Sanders.

I've always tried to make sure that whoever I roleplay with it is fun and enjoyable and that all parties come out of it having had a good time and I have a lot of plans for whats next with my main character Mazza and 2nd character Marco. I completely understand that I have broken a rule and therefore should be punished however I would like to think I bring a lot to the server and the server would benefit more from me being unbanned.

I really enjoy playing the server and I am annoyed with myself that I have broken a rule but it was completely unintentional and honest mistakes on both occasions, given the chance to return to the server I will do better and am planning on posting a suggestion on the forums on how 3rd person shooting can be removed from the server completely.

Hello there @Mazza , I hope you are doing well.

Looking at your record, I am too disappointed to see you here. I appreciate the lengthy and detailed appeal, but I still have some questions for you.

We are aware of the 3rd person happening accidentally at times, but you take the responsibility to pull the trigger, do you not? Roleplay and pressure, sure, but why does it seem so difficult for people to cease fire and simply report it instead? Was it the not wanting to be killed? Please do enlighten me, because I genuinely do not understand why one would knowingly abuse this, knowing it shouldn´t be done.

Hi @Sammy I am well thank you, I hope you are too!

I'm crazy disappointed to say the least, I've taken pride in keeping my record clean for just over a year now since I joined the server and I hope this is the last time I find myself here.

If I could explain the 2 situations I stated above in more detail it might help to see my point of view a bit clearer, like I said before it doesn't change the fact of what I done but I was unfortunate to misjudge/misplay both situations. You are completely right I take full responsibility of pulling the trigger and quite frankly I wish I had focused more in them split second decision moments.

The first situation I was helping 2 very close friends in a dispute between current members of 'said' gang and ex members. The plan was never to kill anyone throughout the situation we simply wanted to kidnap the problem makers, set the story straight and move on. We found the radio of which the opposition was using and managed to single one out, he didn't want to stop the car after being told multiple times to stop and in the end he was shot by my friend. We couldn't get his incapacitated body out of the car for whatever reason so we gave the car a few love taps to hide it as much as possible. I got the 3 of us to post up out of sight to see if anyone came to save this person, and they did. 1 of the friends I was with was first down to the people that just so happened to come across the car and me and my other friend followed down just after (in a rush as I didn't want us to seperate.) This was the point where I put my gun on my lap on the short journey down. My first friend started to tell these people to put their hands and they didn't oblige. I didn't know what was going on until I pulled up next to everyone and all of a sudden gunshots started firing. I usually dont keep my gun on my lap for whatever reason thats just how I've always preferred to make sure I know when I decamp a car I need to pull my gun out. So like I say my gun is on my lap but I usually dont keep it there, this is when I click my button to pull the gun out and it puts it away, I'm trying to aim in and it doesn't aim in so in quick response to my car getting shot I pull my gun and aim in instantly and shoot to kill. This only happened on the first enemy and as soon as I kill him I corrected myself, went back into first person and started to shoot the other person that was in a car.

The next situation, and I will try to keep it more brief was at city hall. Me and my future city wifey (if she's lucky) went to buy a car off of a friend. We done the trade and come out to the parking machine to get it out. In the boot of the car we had just bought was like 15 lockpicks and some other bits I don't remember. A car pulls up with 2 people in, the passenger gets out goes straight to our boot and takes the lockpicks out with no words or any kind of roleplay and gets back in the car they pulled up in. I was still out of the car at this point so I went straight in the boot and seen they had been taken and started to ask (nicely at this point) if we could get the lockpicks back. Still no words from the driver or passenger so I start to question them on what they think they're doing to which the driver starts to talk and says something along the lines of "I dont know what's going on, I'm only the driver" etc etc. I'm starting to get annoyed at this point as the passenger still hasn't said a word to which he then proceeds to start putting his middle up at me out the window and does a /me saying "flips off baldies." I tell him to get out the car and neither of the two got out so I shoot the passenger and the driver starts to drive off. We chase him, spin him out almost instantly and he decides at this point to start spraying a machine pistol out his window. I never would of imagined he even had a gun on him so I wasn't prepared for this at all and as you can imagine what I'm going to say next I pull my gun instantly and aim in which puts me into 3rd person and kill him.

Both times tensions was high and things moved extremely quick. The first situation was a total misplay and I should of been organised to know if my gun was on my lap or not and the 2nd situation was a complete misjudgment, not thinking in the slightest that the driver may of had a gun and I unknowingly put myself in the firing line.

I did not mean at all to use 3rd person in these situations and like I said in my original message I have never used 3rd person in any gang fights which is what you would expect me to do if I was truly looking to gain an unfair advantage against others.

To answer your question of why I didn't cease fire, it's not the fact of not wanting to be killed its just the simple reason that when in the heat of the moment my character is used to killing enemies when absolutely needed and I always done this within the rules (obviously apart from these 2 occasions.) It may seem hypocritical to say now but I took a lot of pride in using 1st person at all times in the server since it changed from 3rd person and there was multiple times when I was in Ballas where we would have a fight with another gang and I would feel like at times 3rd person was used against me.

And that is where my life story comes to an end and hopefully we all live happily ever after, thanks for your time and I am happy to answer anymore questions if needed.

Now, I am willing to give you another chance considering your record is indeed fairly clean. However, I do hope you have learned a lesson here and will not take it for granted.

Any ban within the next 6 months will land you straight back here and a detailed appeal might not save you then. Should we get wind of you exploiting in any way, shape or form again, you will be sent off for a long time, keep that in mind.
