Posting offensive discord messages
Why should we unban you: I was banned over a year and a half ago while a member of the Vagos for posting offensive messages in discord.
I'd like to start off this appeal by apologising to anyone that I offended with the messages that I posted.
Nothing I can say will excuse me for my behaviour back then however I hope enough time has passed for me to be given an opportunity to re-join RPUK.
Looking back at the time when I was banned I am surprised at just how toxic I had become.
Personally I had a lof of things going on at the time which were impacting me mentally and I used RPUK as an escape. The RPUK community had become more and more toxic over time especially between the gangs and this coupled with me surrounding myself with those toxic people, was never going to end well for me.
As most people have at some point, I invested more and more of myself into the server which at the time I did not realise how unhealthy that was for me.
I can only say sorry for allowing myself to be so influenced by my surroundings and the people I chose to surround myself with. I am in no way a racist person and I never meant any harm with anything I posted.
It has been over a year and a half since I was banned and a lot has changed for me. I am in a happier, healthier position personally after making a few big changes in my life, I don't surround myself with negative toxic people and I believe I am a better person all round.
Following my ban I continued to socialise with my friends from the server however these were not Vagos members and soon after I had cut contact with everyone from the gang as everyone seemed to go their seperate ways. I didn't involve myself on any other servers and I have no contact with anyone from Vagos back then. I can only apologise and say sorry for my behaviour.
I have taken a step back and really focused on improving myself outside of gaming to make myself a better person. I feel like I have achieved this now and I'm hopeful I can show this to the staff and be given a chance to return.
The reason I have decided to appeal now is because I feel I am a person worthy of returning. Although I haven't had much time to play the last year or so, I have genuinely missed the community of people on RPUK. Although I was a member of a whitelisted gang, I did use more than half of my time mixing with people outside of Vagos. I have always enjoyed the roleplay/social side of the community and this is what I miss the most.
