Why do you think you were banned: Hi Staff,
Hope you’re doing well.
I was banned for not giving enough roleplay before attacking another player, which falls under G1.2: Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM. I completely understand how serious this rule is and why it’s important to keep the roleplay fair and enjoyable for everyone.
Why should we unban you: This was honestly all my fault, and I realize now that I misread the situation. Earlier that day, I watched three members in the same gang as me get held at gunpoint by NSC. They were pulled out of their cars and taken away. I saw Courtney near one of my friend’s cars during the situation but didn’t step in because they all had guns and I wasn’t armed. After they left I took my friend’s car to the impound so it would be safe
Later, while I was at impound, I saw Courtney drive in with a local car. She went up to the impound guy so I got off my bike and approached her. I told her to put her hands up, but I accidentally swung my machete the first time. She ran, and I ended up attacking her. At the time, I thought KOS was still active because Frank, the leader of NSC had told us multiple times on the phone about it. Looking back I realize now that might’ve only applied to specific days and I misinterpreted the situation.
This whole thing was a mistake on my end. I didn’t intend to RDM anyone, but I can see now that I didn’t give enough roleplay in that moment. I’ve learned from this and thoroughly went through all the rules to make sure nothing like this ends up happening again and in the future, I’ll make sure to engage more and create proper roleplay before doing anything like that again.
