Firstly, I would like to say, coming back to the forums for my actions isn't good at all. Secondly, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this appeal. Also, for the fact that you have given me a second chance to make an appeal as I have been banned previously for the same rule break.



 

Why should we unban you ?: I must say that being required to appear here at the times I have is not good at all, and I sincerely apologize for any offence caused by my conduct. With the time I've had away from the server it has given me time to reflect on my behavior. It doesn't look good having to write another appeal for the same ban. I entirely get it and it was utterly wrong of me and all I can do is ensure that if you guys are ever in the mindset of unbanning me that I can completely assure nothing like this will happen again. I truly enjoy playing on RPUK, and by doing what I did, I put my ability to do so in jeopardy, which stinks.

I actually let my feelings rule this situation; I became upset about what had happened and acted inappropriately. As soon as i was banned I asked Lunar to explain the situation because it was confusing at the time and I had immediately apologized and was sorry for my actions. I knew that this would be the consequence for my actions but at the time I was playing myself through my character.

I deeply regret the choices I made. I realize and wholeheartedly concur that breaching the rules was the wrong thing to do, and I can see the problem with it. The repercussions of breaking the server rules are something I take very seriously. I made a snappy and unreasonable choice. I would love to give the RPUK community the roleplay that I did before and give them high quality roleplay that all parties can enjoy.

I would also like to demonstrate to the RPUK staff that I can follow the rules and that there won't ever be a need for me to appeal again by not letting my emotions get in the way and ruin everyone else's fun. If I ever return to the server, I can guarantee that there will be no shortage of excellent roleplay, that I will be able to control myself and not act inappropriately, and that there will be no faults from me. I regret all of my previous actions that have brought me to this point and I would really like to make amends.

Indeed it doesn't look good having to write multiple appeals for the same ban however as stated by Bowen this is your second C2.3 ban, So you aren't overall learning from what you have done. 

Now looking into your history overall we had a conversation on Maze bank not only two weeks prior to this ban, So you can see how it looks seeing you at this section after not taking what we talked about more serious. So why should we offer you another chance? 

You've mentioned you let your feelings rule situations, Why does this happen and how can one prevent this being the case? As it stands it would be more of a risk to let you return if this is the case no?

Thanks for taking the time to read my appeal and reply to me. 

I can promise the RPUK staff that if you decide to lift my ban, there won't be any more rule violations that force us to return to this location when it shouldn't be necessary at all. I enjoy spending time on RPUK and exchanging stories with the community there, and I've put both of those things in danger a few times, which was stupid of me. By not breaching the rules and destroying other people's fun, I hope to give the community the roleplay they appreciate while also increasing my chances of having fun on the server.

I would approach providing high-quality roleplay by going along with scenarios that I end up encountering, avoiding letting emotions affect how I see an active scenario that could be occurring, and—most importantly—ensuring that everyone is having fun while participating in the roleplaying that is taking place.

I can prevent my emotions from gaining control of me by just pausing before acting and contemplating the possible consequences of my action before executing it. If I'm feeling a certain way, I'll make care to remind myself that there's no point in snapping and acting irresponsibly.

Now you mentioned you won't break any more rules moving forth, However you told me this before your 2 day ban when there was a few of us having a chat, What makes this time any different and why didn't you hold yourself to this standard prior to this ban?

Since the two-day suspension, I've been reminded to avoid low-quality roleplaying during robbery scenarios. I did get better at it and gave excellent roleplaying all the way up until the point where I combat logged. All the way up to the ban, I upheld the proper standard. When the incident occurred, I made an immediate effort to resolve it and admitted my error. I was very sorry and helped the other parties resolve the conflict by holding up my hands and admitting I was in the wrong.

Since I have jeopardized my time on the server, I can honestly say that I don't want to mess it up once more if I get the chance to return to the community.

I would really like to keep my word and merely offer the enjoyable, high-quality roleplay that I have promised, without causing any trouble for the staff.

I can honestly state that I won't make the same mistakes again, and I want to apologies to the RPUK community and staff for my prior poor RP. I don't want to lose out on any more community experiences.

The one thing that in all honesty is helping you is how you are conducting yourself now and how you we're with the staff member at the time of the incident. So with this in mind I'm willing to give you another chance however now does come at a cost due to your own history and how close together you broke rules after we talked on Maze before your 2 day ban.

So the conditions for you to return will be the following, Since this happened on your Meech character it would be fair to assume you would of been robbed for your items given you didn't combat log so in turn your inventory will be removed, Meaning anything on your person will be gone.

Secondly, Since this is your second ban for combat logging you should count yourself lucky to be receiving this opportunity since a pattern is emerging. After the unban you will be on the Fair bans system meaning any rule break that results in a ban will be right back to a permanent however for yourself should this happen an automatic 6 month cooldown will apply from the date you are banned. Do you agree to these terms?
