Reason given for your ban: Combat Logging

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I rage quit during a drug bust. I had been caught selling drugs in game by undercover cops and was instantly buthurt and F8 quit the game thinking there was no punishment or ban.

Why should we unban you ?: I have learnt my lesson to roleplay every situation. I also understand and appreciate the rules set in place now that serious action has taken place. There is no roleplay server as serious or as sustainable as this one.

F8 quit the game thinking there was no punishment or ban

In what world would there be not punishment or ban? This is a roleplay server, where we try to roleplay as close to real life as possible. Now I don't know about you but I have never in my many (many) years seen someone *poof!* disappear in front of me in real life. Why would that be acceptable here?

I thought I could get away with it as I had heard one of my friends did it a couple times and didn’t get banned. I also now appreciate the fact of how serious this server is and that is one of the reasons why I would like to become apart of the community again. It was a stupid, childish decision and won’t happen again. I know understand that I’m every situation possible, you need to keep professionalism and keep in character whether you want to or not.

ok, quote me the rule you broke and explain it in your own words. Also, I'm not going to ask you who your friend is, but may I suggest that you tell them to stop before they suffer the same fate?

Combat logging is where a person roleplaying ungracefully exits/shuts down the game to avoid defeat, destruction, damage and death. - Combat logging is when a person roleplaying will quit the game (F8 quit) to avoid being caught in game or to avoid consequences caused by their actions. Thank you for your help. He isn’t a real life friend I met him on the server but I haven’t kept in touch since. (I don’t think I will be)

I'm going to assume you slightly misunderstood my question but close enough. Right, your inventory and cash on hand has been wiped as punishment for combat logging, as you likely would have lost your stuff anyway. Your bank and cars etc are left alone. Now, you should know that despite me unbanning you here, this doesn't mean you get off completely free. If you ever combat log again, you will be banned again and it would be highly unlikely that you would be coming back. Please just Roleplay, after all, isn't that what we are here for? So remember that next time you are in a situation that isn't going your way. If this was real life, you couldn't just disappear.
