In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: i was permanently banned under the fair ban system for not providing quality rp before engaging in a gun fight with the other party and therefore was classed as RDM

Why should we unban you ?: This ban appeal will not have any excuses , scapegoats or justify any of the rule breaks that have lead me here. I want to use this ban appeal to convey my deep regret in the lack of thought and maturity I have displayed during my time in the server. It took a permanent ban for me to understand the opportunity I had in this community. I headed in a down hill spiral of rule breaks that in the moment I was justifying as fun. I needed to understand that you can have fun in this server, but I shouldn’t be throwing rules to the side while I’m having ‘ fun’. How can you trust me to come back ? I broke that trust to be sensible before , how will you guys know if I might break it again ?
All I can do is promise to use this possible chance given to me to prove that people can learn , change, and return to the community as a person that can roleplay.
I have looked at all the reports that ended escalating my 1 week to a perm and have understood how I can improve and if put in that situation I can roleplay with quality and consideration for the other party involved. This is my first roleplay server and will definitely be my last , I can not see myself joining another as I have thoroughly enjoyed the scenarios , people, and mechanics of this city. I want be given the opportunity to come back and roleplay , something that i did not focus on before. I have displayed a lot of quality roleplay but understandably you may not have seen , it is unfortunate and a deep regret that i am now seen as a bad apple.



If I was to return to the RPUK community , I would use this opportunity to switch up my roleplay style and create diverse roleplay scenarios which I have not currently tried yet . Rather than fully focus on violence/gang RP I would divert my roleplay towards more passive scenarios which involve more conversing interactions with other players within the server . Choosing this approach will allow me to still have fun and interesting situations and give me a refreshing new roleplay approach . In regards to my current character , In am currently a "Vagos" hang about , I would like to use the new "Atomic" garage situated on Vagos turf corner to roleplay as a part-time mechanic as an employee . I believe this will allow me to have more player to player interaction and also allow me to focus on roleplaying more interesting conversations and scenarios as a whole. In my other spare time whilst I am not working , I would like to approach other mechanic shops and ask if I am able to learn the skills of a mechanic . If possible I will use my time to learn about mechanics of vehicle's which will create a more realistic approach to my character roleplay arch . Instead of instantly becoming a mechanic I will take my time to shadow other professionals and learn how to do things . I will then take these skills into the "Atomic" mechanic shop and continue my roleplay . As I am also in a gang I would like to be participating in gang activities with my fellow members , this will be to develop my characters relations with fellow gang members and also other gangs . I believe , if given the chance I could add more depth and engaging roleplay with my ideas , I look forward to returning and developing my character in these directions if given the chance.



I want to try and use this chance possibly given to me to turn around my time in the server , it took a permanent ban for me to understand why rules are put in place. They are put in place to give everyone the chance to roleplay with quality and give everyone fair opportunities. I began this appeal with honesty and want to display my deepest regrets in getting myself permanently banned. I am aware that permanent ban appeals take serious consideration but I genuinely enjoy playing on this server; there aren't any others that are as serious or as good. I now fully understand how foolish I was to breach all of the rules, and I deeply regret doing so. I have now played other games since I have been banned, but I truly simply want to resume roleplaying on rpuk. After reading through rules I have broken and other rules in relation to them , I am confident that I can return to the community and roleplay.

So you mentioned that you have been spirling, Why is this the case?

Whilst indeed your permanent ban come from G1.1 however this was added on top of the current 7 day you was issued a few days prior, So you will also need to answer for that also. The rules broke in that we're G1.3 & G2.4. 

I've had a look at your previous bans, You've mentioned you are here for the roleplay however the history speaks for itself and paints a much different picture. Why did it come to a permanent ban for you to state you wish to roleplay and claim that you won't break the rules ?

 
Hello, Stuart thanks for replying to me I am not surprised that you have replied to my unban appeal , i feel like i have especially disappointed you since the talk we had on maze bank arena regarding the minimal/poor RP i was providing in the weeks before. In regards to the baiting and NVL , it was a case of me not understanding the nature of the baiting rule and valuing life. I once tried to justify it through the report but i do now understand where i went wrong when i was in that situation. Looking back at ways i could have prevented this permanent ban it was quite simple , in terms of baiting one conversation was enough with the other party and i did not need to continuously return. In terms of NVL all i needed to do was remove myself from that area once a gun was pointed at me and told to leave. Finally in terms of the RDM , i could have been more creative and tried to sneak behind a building instead of storming in with a gun. The rules are simple , it is the minimum requirement to be in this community. Yes , quality Roleplay is encouraged but following the rules set in place is a standard. So why should i be allowed back in to this community ? why consider a person that has reached a permanent ban ? My history does paint a much different picture , you are correct. But i hope to create a different picture in my future if unbanned. I want to make the effort to change your opinion of me as a role-player and be given that chance to try again. To try and make a effort to provide enjoyable roleplay WITHOUT BREAKING RULES for myself and others involved. To now answer why it took a permanent ban for me to understand my wish to roleplay is purely due to my underappreciation and the undervalue the opportunity i had in this city .

 
Now, the issue I see here is that you seem fairly reasonable in your responses, however, your group seems have some toxic tendencies when rolling together... We don´t have an issue with people enjoying themselves with friends but the way you have been acting together, obviously didn´t lead to many good things, has it? How can we be sure that is going to change from here on out?

 
Hello Sammy In regards to the group that have some toxic tendencies , i do feel like i have been the eye opener for them and myself from this permanent ban, i am now appealing. It is quite true that we start to behave like little school boys when together in the server. However there is also another side , a side where we have displayed quality rp and have had some fun and interesting scenarios. I do feel that since i have started full time work , i have began to appreciate the time i had on the server when i had all the free time to play, all the free time that i had was spent on racking up bans and ruining my place in the server. If unbanned i wish to use that minimal free time that i do have and enjoy the server and roleplay.

 
Lets say you are back on the server and your friends from said group are also about and yous are playing together, How can we be sure this type of behaviour that got you here wont simply happen again? 

You've mentioned "all the free time that i had was spent on racking up bans and ruining my place in the server", Was this something done intentional, If so why? 

 
I want to make it my top priority to put roleplay first and also put the interest of staff such as you in making sure that the community is enjoyable for people, old or newly fresh in the city. I believe this should have been the mentality that i had prior to my unban , if i did i would not be in this position let alone have a single ban. I want to assure you Stuart that it was not intentional , would be very concerning for a person to intentionally get banned and put a up a report for an unban appeal. I want you to have full confidence after this appeal that i have learnt from this appeal and that i can be trusted to return to the community and act like the mature adult that i am and not the group giggling rule breaker.

Indeed it would be very concerning, Now I've looked up on the dates of when everything happened and it was within a 3 day period, On the third day we had a chat on Maze bank as you mentioned. You've mentioned that you want to put roleplay first, Why wasn't this done within the three days of all the rules being broken? 

 
Yes Stuart , we had a chat on maze bank arena , correct me if im wrong but prior to when we had this chat regarding my roleplay , i had broken 2 previous rules which then ended up being reports that was accepted. This does not justify why i had 3 bans within the space of a week but in hindsight i genuinely did want to improve and make the effort to put roleplay first. My past rule breaks ended up biting me in the back before i could begin my efforts. They do say you can not escape from your past and that you would have to own it an learn from it, Thus i do intend to learn and make the upmost effort to put roleplay first.

 
Indeed the times you we're reported for was prior to us talking to Maze so the bans did come after that night. Indeed, Whilst you cannot escape what you've done you can learn from it and this is very true. 

I'm willing to give you another chance to return however this does come at a price. If you do receive a ban within a 6 month period it will be right back to a permanent ban as per the fair bans system, However on top of this any appeal will be on a 6 month cooldown meaning you will need to wait out 6 months from the time of any ban within this time, Do you agree to this?

 
Very well, As mentioned this does follow the fair bans system so if you do end up back to permanent within the 6 months then you have the same cooldown time before we will allow you to appeal. Don't let me down with this golden opportunity being offered to yourself. I will hold you to what you said here in your appeal more so "i genuinely did want to improve and make the effort to put roleplay first".
