In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: As previously stated in my other appeal, I used my brother transfer money to another character slot which is an unfair way of acquiring money and breaks the stipulated game rules. I'd also like to apologise for the delay in writing a response appeal, it was a hectic week at work.

Why should we unban you ?: Although it wasn't the ideal way to go about it, I hoped to use the money to purchase a home and a car; with the intention of establishing the new character I'd thought on financially so I could focus on the roleplay side of the game and engage in new storylines.

I understand that regardless of intent I broke the rules and the ban was appropriate action at the time but I feel as though I know understand the true severity of my actions and can assure you they won't be repeated under any circumstance.

If I were to be granted a second chance, I will prove myself to be a great addition to the city, and am committed not only to facilitating my own character's narrative but also the character arcs of those around me when we interact.

What was the reason you and your brothers broke this rule?

What was you looking to gain from doing this? Also if we give you another chance, How can we be sure you won't simply do the same thing again should you believe you wouldn't get caught?

 
As specified in each of my posts, I wanted a headstart with money so I could focus on the new character idea I had without having to grind for the money through IC jobs; with the final goal of buying a house and having a car.

I know this was wrong, have said I'm committed to obliging by the rules and you have my word. Moreover, if there are in-game mechanisms to track money transfers and other transfers; you're free to do regular checks; it won't be something I will repeat.

Did you read the rules prior to making your appeal, If not why?

Surely you would of had to know this wouldn't of been allowed prior to doing it as it is cheating as a whole. Why would you risk it all?

 
I had read the game rules, although I admit not as clearly as I should've at the time. **

In my eyes, I didn't see it as risking it all as I'd only just joined the server and hadn't established my character; I believed that I would - at most - receive a verbal warning and have the aforementioned character deleted. I perceived it as a means to an end to establish my character and not fall behind when I'm at work as I'd already be financially set-up and roleplay would've been the aspect of the server I could focus on.

I had underestimated both the severity of the cheating and how inconvenient it then is for you as staff members to have to go back in and reinforce the rules repeatedly.

Even though I didn't realise the severity of the rule break or my intentions, I know cheating isn't justified in any circumstance and ignorance to the consequences isn't a reason but they're the only valid ones I can give.

**I do want it to be public knowledge that this was unfortunately also true when I made my initial appeal and it was locked; instead of making a secondary appeal, I sent a message to a moderator clarifying what I meant which resulted in me appropriately being redirected to the forum rules. Since then, I have made sure to read the rules properly so I can act according to everyone's best interests and not further hinder progress.

 
With bans of this nature it does come with a few things, Such as deletion of all other characters and a full character wipe on the one remaining. I'd assume as you mentioned your Lliam character that this is the one you wish to keep? 

In relation to the full wipe what I mean by this is all money, Vehicles, Inventory ect will be removed. Do you agree to this?

Can you please quote the rule you broke and explain in your own words why you believe we have such a rule in place?

 
More than happy to agree to this, I was planning on starting an entirely new character if I'm able to.

The rule I broke was  2.9 and it's in place to stop people from trading money between characters or accounts to further their own characters. If you mean the forum rule, it was C5.6 and it's in place to assure appeals are handled on the appropriate channels instead of on the wall of moderators but also to prevent spam.

Would you prefer we delete all characters over you keeping one if your plan is to make a new character? I'll wait off a response before moving forward with it anyway until you have informed me.

 
Yes please delete all of my characters, that'd be great actually - I'd like a fresh start to properly integrate myself

As mentioned to your brothers it goes without saying this is an opportunity being given to all of yous so I do hope you don't let me down with this. Should you find yourself banned within the 6 month period following the fair bans system you will find yourself right back in this section, Something I do hope not to see. 

If you haven't already take the time to read over the GTA and Community rules fully before rejoining so you are fully aware of all of the rules within RPUK. Since all your characters have been deleted you will indeed need to make a new character as you mentioned you was going to do anyway. Be sure to stick to the rules moving forth and should you have any questions pop a ticket in and we will be happy to help.
