In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned as I used someone out of city face as my tweedle picture

Why should we unban you ?: Before i start my appeal i would like to sincerely apologize for my actions. Looking back on it now, what i did was childish, immature and extremely rude and if I do not get unbanned for this I completely understand. There are 2 reasons i did this; 1) i was new to RP (even though I was new this is still inexcusable and i could've just read the rules) and 2) I didn't know this person I placed as my profile picture on tweedle was a player in the city. Even IF she wasn't a player within the city i shouldn't have done this as it is rude and disrespectful to do this to someone and i didn't even think how it could damage their feelings or hurt them in anyway. Everything that i did was completely on me and i should've thought twice about posting the picture. It has now been over 9 months since my initial suspension from the city and since then i feel i have matured as a person in character and out and nothing of the sort will occur again as now i know how ignorant i was for doing this. There is no real valid reason i should've done this but like i said earlier i feel now I've took a large break from this city, i am ready to tackle the RPUK scene again and come back with new and interesting situations for other RPUK users and players to enjoy vastly. Again i am very sorry for my actions, i have tried to reach out to the person i exposed as this is who it hurt the most, but i cannot find their discord or socials anywhere. If i get another chance in city i will try to reach out to them in city and get their 'email' and apologize there. All i can say is im sorry and i would like a second chance as i feel my actions will speak louder than my words.

I find your claims of "I didn't know I used a picture of a community member" hard to believe - specially given the circumstances around your relation with the person in-game at the time


- You've previously said you received the picture from a friend who said "use this as your profile picture". What's the friends name?


As per finding the person in RP, should you be unbanned - no. 
- There is a rule in place, specifically prohibiting things such as what you proposed.

i am being 100 percent serious when i say i didn't have any relation with this player at this time. I genuinely did not know her or have any relation with her at all while i was playing.

I believe the rule you are referring to is this (G1.6) Being In Character - What happens in Roleplay needs to stay within Roleplay. Do not bring in character issues outside of the game, likewise do not bring your real life issues with other players into the game. You ARE NOT your character and they ARE NOT you.

i couldn't tell you the friends name now it was a long time ago. i haven't talked to them in over 8 months now so i really couldn't tell you their IC name.

Whether or not you did know who the person was, is quite frankly irrelevant - and now you're telling me that someone you trusted blindly to use an IRL picture from without questioning it or it's origin, you don't even recall who is anymore? 

For someone who appears to really wish to be unbanned, you don't appear to put a whole lot of effort in...

I completely take reasonability for my own actions and I'm not saying it was any one elses fault but mine. What i did was frankly wrong a disrespectful and like i said, looking back on it now it could have seriously harmed this person mentally and physically which i just diddnt think of at the time.

and for this i do know the persons OOC name just not IC name as i went to college with them - hence why i trusted them. but going back to my own actions i should've just simply said no.

I am trying my very hardest to be unbanned. i put as much effort in as i could to this appeal and the last ones i tried but not as hard as this one. I just really want a second chance. I know what i did was directly rude to this person and there is no true reason why i did this or anyone should ever do this and this is why I have not made up excuses within this appeal.

So you have matured alot now. Time to act like an adult then and own up and come clean and tell us what we want to know. In appeal number 3 you stated you was messaged by your friend on discord with the image no? Best do some digging to find out this friend of yours.

I remember exactly where this image was posted. It was posted in a discord server with around 5 people in. Since then I have left that server as it wasn't used for like 8 months.

Well you would of received a response today however you did make a ticket more so complaining about not getting a response. You've stated from making the appeal that you  read the unban appeal process and rules. The first rule stated is the following; "Do not contact admins via the forums, discord or on Team-speak about unbans!". 

Appeals are the lowest priority for the staff team overall, However we do respond to all appeals some just take longer than others. Now given that you haven't followed the rules as outlined within our wiki I'll go ahead and lock the appeal for three days and once unlocked we will move forward.

there is no above i got told it was a staff only post and then Stuart said in a team speak that after the appeal goes off lock u will ask more questions, i have been waiting for a response

You could start off with why you decided to do the things that lead to this topic being locked and explain why you think you shouldn´t have...

i explained all this too stuart in teamspeak but i will gladly explain again. So i opened up a ticket to simply ask why others that havent been waiting as long for a reply were getting a reply and i wasnt and i complained about this a little within the ticket and then one of your admin team explained to me why i diddnt get a reply and how unbans are bottom priority. i then just said ahhh okay thanks for your time and the ticket got closed. stuart then locked my appeal and i went in a team speak call with him for a while talking about my unban and the city and thats why i diddnt feel a need to write something like this. But i get why you need it here. I am sorry for opening a ticket about that it was very unneeded.

I believe the rule i broke comes under the community rule (C5.1) which states Common sense - This is an adult community and a lot of the rules come down to common sense. (Swearing at people, trolling people, bullying people, spamming, inappropriate language, signature violation, topic bumping)

I think this is the rule i broke as what i did comes under bumping. This rule is in place as unban requests are a place where RPUK gives banned players a second chance within the city and spamming tickets, TeamSpeak or anything like this is just aggravating for those who are willing to give you a second chance. I believe you took the action you did on me because i opened a ticket and asked an admin a question that isnt very logical and i can think of it my self and they to further this i commented how it was 'annoying' and for me to get a 3 day exclusion from posting is completely fair.

and way the rule that i was originally banned for was C1.4 which states (C1.4) Any threat to, or harassment of, any person, or the community, will not be tolerated. Depending on the context of the threat we will fully assist the UK police with their enquiries. - Permanent Ban

This rule is in place to protect the community of RPUK in any way shape or form and if anyone violates this which will happen (like my case) they will get banned. This rule is not only in place for that though. This rule is also in place to make sure the city is strictly In city and no ooc activity will go on. You took the action you did on me because i posted a picture of a player in the city as my profile picture, this counts as harassment of a player and hence why it falls under the C1.4 Rule. this not just protected the player, but in the staff teams eyes i could have done this again (even though i wouldnt have) but just incase i did you banned me.
