Why do you think you were banned: I was banned because i was in a situation which was executed very poorly at the start by an individual and that then led to others who joined in to the same situation being held guilty of "Poor RP"
Why should we unban you: Hello Staff, I hope you are all doing well!
So i want to start off by beginning this appeal by genuinely just saying im sorry for being caught up in that situation on the report approved on me leading to my ban.
I was online on the 01/10/2024 when a shootout begun between Cutlass and Ballas around the location of Bins Petrol Station, Now during this situation i was not aware it had played out so poorly like staff said on our end, when i arrived on scene all i was aware of from radio was that Ballas were being mouthy and shooting us and backup was needed. So i then arrived and shot a couple bullets to help my gang and i didnt expect a report go up because i thought everything started well.
I just wanna say how deeply sorry i am for this happening to Ballas and me being involved and if i could of been the one starting it i would of gave ballas alot more rp before shooting as i know it is critical during these type of situations. I honestly think that i shouldnt of been banned in this scenerio because i only pulled up to help my friends being shot when they called over radio for it, I only say this because how was i to know that it started so poorly and i dont think theres too much i could of done to impact the starting of it.
Now i know staffs immediate question is gonna be "last time you was unbanned we told you there is a chance you will be unbanned if banned again but it will be a bit debatable so why should we even entertain this appeal?"
The reason i believe you should entertain it is because recently i have been on my Police Character and roleplayed crazy crazy amount of hours (which you can check logs to validate) and i would not want this to go down the drain or me be limited to doing this still and enjoying my time on the server. I also would like to say my roleplay definitely has not gone unmissed by players or even some staff potentially because i have been making the server a bit more fair and enjoyable for crims as i know it could definitely be very upsetting for some to wanna rp as a criminal to then doing crime to then being treat shit by police and locked up for hours on hours, whereas with me i have been very fair with them and given light (but good enough sentences) and been enjoyable with them, wether its me: complimenting them / playing music in the cells / being lenient or having jokes with them, just overall doing things to make it greater for them and try and hope they can enjoy the server that little more then they would be if they were treat shit and sent to the servers prison for 9 hours and lost their expensive guns.
Now you may question why is this relevant but its just to show that im here playing rpuk with alot of my spare time, trying to be a good person and provide alot more good then bad. Ive never been malicious and tried to break server rules but been caught up in silly little mistakes like the one ive been caught up in this time round which is of course (a situation started shitly and i was involved towards the end) so i just would honestly love the chance to come back.
After my ban was placed i 1 to 1 liased with Mark (staff who placed my ban) and asked about how my ban could potentially be changed to a character lock so i can atleast carry on with my good roleplay on my police character where i have progressed so far in the progression on there recently becoming a trial afo, which is a great achievement and something i would not like to lose so quick. Unfortunatey Mark mentioned this may not be possible at this time as he cant go back on his decision but he did mention that i CAN appeal and to give it a shot. Which i was going to do anyway.
Another Question I think staff is going to ask is "what is your plans to do if you are allowed to come back?"
When i come back im going too of course focus on police and continue to enjoy the server playing and roleplaying as police, Not only that but on Luke Gambino im going to return and continue chilling with some old friends who i have been with recently in the last week and enjoying myself and not be caught up in situations like this one.
I will spend the high hours like i already do, enjoying whats left of the halloween update with mates and enjoy the server as much as i can because i do like rpuk i dont think theres really any servers that compete.
Next Question i think staff will ask is "What are you going to do to avoid these situations in future"
I guess the only thing i can really do in a similar situation like that is too make sure im the person doing the beginning interaction to make sure it goes well and not just be caught up shooting a few bullets towards the end. Another thing i could do is just float around the situation and take extra precautios steps when it comes to a little gunfight between 2 gangs.
Moving onto My Record.
I know another thing staff could say is my record of a few warnings and 2 bans.
With this in mind you can kinda clearly see im not actually here with a bad mindset but a good one i would say, cause i aint here to be a bad addition to the server but im a good addition just get caught up in a few slipups that arent
always my kind of fault
But i do admit that its partially my fault for involving myself in situations like this or involving myself with crowds, but i can just say its not my intentions and i didnt expect it to end out like it did and begin how it begun.
The last time i was banned was due to my own full on doing where i was under the assumption what i did was inline with the rules but it wasnt and Danoo gave me a chance and for months ive been unbanned ive been clean as a whistle proving good rp and enjoying my time, and im so grateful for that chance he gave me and hopefully it wasnt my last one as this time round i think ive been caught up in something so so unfortunate
The final thing i would like to say is, I appreciate every second and minute of any staff members time who reads this appeal and just to tell you its from my heart and i am sat here hoping i can get back to providing good rp to the people on the server, and special thanks to - Mark, Danoo, John and Mike for entertaining the conversations in my tickets and teamspeak as i know its all personal choice and if you want to!
