In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Where to start.. I was a part of this community since 2014 and was staff, even before the tier level admin system.. I left on good terms due to not playing anymore, ended up getting into FiveM and somewhere in 2020, before RPUK launched their FiveM server I was in touch with Wilco about losely cooperating between servers. I have the e-mails between him and me if needed as I have nothing to hide.

On my communities discord there were a couple of old RPUK members. At one point I tagged them and posted an old screenshot I had saved. It was a screenshot from a forum post some kid made in 2017 or something, a badly drawn cartoon that was ridiculing this community and its members. I didn't write anything alongside reposting it, just tagged those ex members. It was meant as a ''throwback'' to the what for me still is the good old days, when I was first Roleplaying and spent thousands of hours on Arma3 running the UNMC and having tonnes of fun every day. I still talk to people from those days even and am traveling from the Netherlands to Wales for one of their weddings next year.

Wilco joined our discord server and then saw this post, e-mailed me (i can provide those emails or forward them un-edited if needed), saying he would break off all talks and then saying he hated people who do stuff like that. From his point of view I was just as bad as the person who created that drawing. When I replied giving my explanation in a adult way, without using capslock or swears, just to the point, he replied in a snapping manner and I found out I was banned.

My community ban therefore is for toxicity and racism.

Why should we unban you ?: I was a loyal member of this community for years, spend hundreds of hours as staff, never had any warnings, kicks or bans for ingame behaviour or bad roleplay. I had some warnings when I ran my loud mouth about stuff on the Forums, but it has all been well over 4 years ago now and my ban well over 2 years.

I want to re-itterate i had no ill intentions with posting that meme, nor do I condone what the drawing entails. It was meant as innocent throwback with old community members. I can understand it wasn't perceived as such by Wilco at the time. Since I didn't play here, I wasn't bothered enough to appeal at the time, but now I would very much like to try out your FiveM server and just have my very ancient forum account back (made this one to appeal and if successful will delete it again asap).

I do not condone racism or toxicity within communities. I never have and I never will. You will not find any posts or videos or whatever of me anywhere online slagging of RPUK as I always held it in the highest regards, same goes for any staff here including Wilco himself, though I hear he has stepped down. I have never slagged him off either, I admit in my last e-mail I made a slight dig at him, in return to him making one of me, but it wasn't vile, it wasn't mean, I never swore at him or anyone in this community.

I am fully willing to forward my emails with Wilco so you have full view over what happened.

I am humbly requesting a unban. I won't say it wasn't deserved, as in the end the people who run the community decide what is best and he did. I am just requesting it to be looked into and given a second chance to be part of RPUK again. I just want to go on record, as I did in my e-mails with Wilco back in April 2020, that I am far, far from a racist, and without divulging too much details about my teenage years, was even an activist for various left-wing oriented causes and attended many anti-fascist, anti-war, pro-peace rallies and gatherings. It pains me that people who I once played games with can see my ban and consider me racist. That being said, I should not have publicly posted that specific meme as I knew someone was banned for it and it could reflect badly on the community I once was a part of. While not my intention to slag of RPUK, I fully understand why its owner at the time did not appreciate me doing so and can see why it would disappoint him, after always having a good understanding and having had many, many talks about Roleplay and brainstorming ideas for RPUK.

I want to make it clear that if this request is turned down for whatever reason, I will also humbly accept this and move on.

I hope however that the circumstances around my ban and my otherwise relatively clean record within the community are reason enough for it to be considered.

If I am not mistaken you was staff at the time the image was posted? Now as someone who was staff the same time as you we both know that during those days when someone was banned or wanted to "leave" they would do stuff like that and "leave in style" as they liked to call it. If you remember those days as much as I do a vast amount of people would do toxic posts and leave like that. Now you stated that you had this image saved which based on what I can see you seen it 7 minutes after it was posted. This image was later removed and you kept it. As a staff member at the time why did you not deal with it? Seeing the image and what was on it myself I am wondering why you didn't do anything regarding it and leaving the post up?

Innocent throwback? I am quite interested to know how the people you shared the image with even knew it existed? As the post itself was hidden rather quickly and wasn't up for that long? I understand that it is quite some time ago so I am asking quite a lot to remember the details. Now what made you share it? Because looking into it, you seem to be discussing "drawings" prior to posting the image?

What sort of character do you wish to bring to the server if given a chance?

I honestly do not remember why I wasn't the one giving it points/hiding it. Things like that usually get dealt with really fast and I do not recall if I was or wasn't the first one viewing the post, or even I was an active staff member at the time or not. It was in 2017 or before when it was posted as far as I remember, details have eluded me after those years, sorry. I do not even remember if the screenshot I have is mine or someone elses that was sent to me and I had saved. I have loads of screenshots saved of different games and communities I played in ranging all the way back to 2014, same as video's on youtube (lots of unlisted reports). So I cannot answer this question truthfully.

Reasoning what I would have done today if I was an active staff member at a community that had someone post this, I would have hidden it and depending on the procedure in place would deal with the poster appropriately. I hope that means something.

As for how those people knew, things get thrown around, people send each other that stuff.., and a great deal of them don't hold up to public scrutiny and are frowned upon or downright sad and disgusting. Probably the person who made the post screenshotted it himself to brag about his childish creation, and so people knew..

So if I recall correctly, the conversation before was about the screenshot I posted, people remembered, but that community and that discord do no longer exist, so it would be impossible for me to confirm that for sure.
There were as far as I remember two other ex RPUK players (Kazza and Beecroft), left or banned, I don't know, in that discord and we were discussing Arma3 RP and RPUK.
The picture in question was mentioned and I found it on my age old external HDD in an ''random screenshots'' folder. I posted it and then, basically said it had me in stitches..
Someone then said something offensive about Wilco as seen in the screenshot he took.

If anything more was said after that I don't recall, I was a pothead at the time and have since then invested nearly as many hours in FiveM, being part of communities that came and went, some of which I helped out as staff, so I hope you understand I have had loads and loads of conversations in many busy discord servers, that a lot of details have just slipped from mind along as I went.

In hindsight, I should just not have posted it. I get the vibe it gives us is dissing another community and it's not cool. I would not behave the same way again today, regardless of if I was a staff member of a normal player of a community. Not once in the years since I have left RPUK or was banned have I been banned, kicked, warned or removed from a community and I like to think I have done my share in supporting the communities where I played when they needed moderators or admins, and have dabbled a bit in creation texture content, always for free and never copyrighted or anything. I can also honestly say that after I was banned I have simply taken that on the chin and moved on, have not lashed out or slagged of the community or the decision, or the staff team here. 

As for what kind of character I would bring..

Well, his name is Frankie Marbrandy, estranged son of (in some circles) well known and notorious MC founder and president, Johnny ''Schizo'' Marbrandy. Frankie came to Los Santos after his dad was killed by his own club, for going behind their back in a deal with the FIB to take their main competitor on the gunmarket out of play. Club found out through another MC, so to protect their reputation, they had to off their founder. Frankies uncle, Gary, and his dads best friend, Kev, did the deed. After that Kev disappeared, wrought with guilt. Frankie learned to ropes on his uncles side and eventually became VP and President of his dads club, Sinners MC, himself. After the clubs fall, he decided to follow a former member who started her own club, Unforgiven MC. This has been the club he has been a part of ever since.

(So Biker RP. Been doing that since 2018, when I started ''Schizo''s storyline, who I decided to perma early 2021 after his story basically ran at an end in the server I was on. The storyline progressed out of my hands, as good RP does, (actions have consequence) and I had no alternative without it being bad RP, so he died. Since then I played his son for well over a year, who has made friendships and lost people (characters in RP, one guy in the MC who died IRL). If I was to be allowed to come back, all you'd see from me is good RP, always sticking to my character (he basically is part of me now, lives his own life in a part of my head lol).

Roleplay has always been a huge part of my private life and my hobbies, I have made so many friends through it. And it all started here... Even tho I moved on after the ban, it never left my memories and it sort of stings I ruined all those good years with one bad decision. I heard, since I still actively am in touch with members who never left RPUK, there was a massive unban at some point and I know my ingame account is not banned. I once tried to log in to the FiveM server and I could play. I didn't play though, since I knew I was banned and didn't want to ruin any future chance of an unban by actively evading.
