Why do you think you were banned: I believe I was banned for RDM . This happened as my group at the time (Grove street) had been having a gunfight with another group (mara) . This gunfight had been taking place on Mara turf where I saw another player in what appeared to be a Mara hangaround mask after asking the player if they were a mara hangaround I proceeded to shoot and down the player.
Why should we unban you: During my time in RPUK I have learnt that honesty is the best option so I would like to be as open as I can in this appeal . Honestly when I acted the way I did , I truly thought what I was doing was in the right and realistic RP which I strive for . You see my character was at the scene of shooting so of course he would be quite agitated and when he saw a member of the ‘opposition’ he did what he believed was the best option . However I would like to say that I have been given time to reflect on my actions and now I know that I unfairly ended another player's immersion in the game and this could have been easily avoided if I had for example ziptied the player and allowed RP to continue and I am truly sorry about that .I would also like to add that I was confused about the RDM rule when it comes to gang conflict RP as while I was hangabout for Grove Street I was targeted several times by opposing groups and what further confused me was the notion that non tablet hangabouts could defend a gang turf when it was being attacked . Once again I would not like to excuse my actions as I understand what I did was wrong but now I do understand what I can do next time to prevent what got me here .
To conclude I would once again like to apologise to the staff team for once again being here on the forums , I was truly trying to keep my nose clean and stay as far away from the forums as possible and shift my focus to provide exemplary RP which I believe I was doing until this unfortunate event took place . I have also been trying to improve my RP skills on another server which I think I have been quite successful in , however I have not been able to find anything anywhere close to the RPUK experience . If I were allowed another chance I can promise you that I will not be seen anywhere near the forums for the wrong reasons .
