Why do you think you were banned: Hello, as a result of being rdm of a guy I previously dumped, with no interaction from him before he killed me, I therefore combat logged, this was a result of my anger due to the situation, however I am no making any excuses for the rule break, im well aware of why these rules are put into place, and yes I did break one, and I can only apologise for my stupidity of thinking I could get away with it.
Why should we unban you: The last few weeks I have looked over the rules and thought back over the situation, I have learned to contain my anger and not let it affect my rp, besides this situation I do believe I provide good rp, as I have recently joined this community I have been apart of the chippiones, learning new skills and more about the city, This is the first time I have had to come to forums and been reported in the time I have been here. To conclude I accept full responsibility for my actions, and can assure you if I was to giving another chance this would not happen again.

Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to re-join the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).This was implemented for many reasons but all round to my understanding the rule is in place so that you can’t avoid RP as sometimes you will lose out or come out on the worse end of the situation so you must stay in the server to ensure you continue the roleplay and not leave the situation mid way through as this effects both parties complete shutting down the altercation which isn’t fun for either party. At the end of the day we’re all just here to have fun and doing things like this could be detrimental to that.

Can you give an example of what you contribute to the server?
 
Personally I enjoy interacting with new people and learning more stuff about the city, Talking with people is something I enjoy and getting into fun rp situations for example when the nhs come to me and downed the rp given from them and giving rp to them when they're fixing me up from a crash or getting shot. I really enjoy rp'ing with others. Another thing I love doing on the server is working and getting my moneys worth, The city has a great variety of jobs that I took part in such as trucking and taxi's, I also hear that you guys have added a new binning job and I would really love to try it out and see if that changes my characters job that he will partake in daily. When I was still in the city I used to partake in trucking and selling coke and the thrilling experience of the police coming up to me as I sell some drugs to a local then I attempt to flee the scene and get away. Having interactions like these really make me wish I haven't made the decision of combat logging.


I personally am not 100% sure of what I contribute to the server but other than a friendly, outgoing person in the city. I do give a great roleplaying experience to others and I make sure both sides are happy when in a roleplay scenario. And I do love a great fist fight, if there were to be a boxing event i would 100% partake in it. Being a part of a fist fight really brings joy as it is really fun.

I don’t think I or anyone can break rules. But some people do and some may have real problems that are the reason to why they broke that certain rule. Some may be there to just troll and to have “fun” when in reality they’re ruining the fun for others. Some people including me have broken the rules and I agree it isn’t right that I have it was mainly just a “heat in the moment” situation. Although I thought me doing this would get something out of it and I was wrong i got banned which I didn’t think about in the moment. In the end i’ve realised that I or anyone can’t break rules because it just leads to bans or worse.

I do appreciate the staff team taking their time to read through each reply and to respond to each reply.

Very well, I will unban you and give you another chance but I sincerely hope you have learned a valuable lesson here. Two wrongs do not make a right!

Any ban you will receive within the next 6 months will be permanent again. Any combat logging ban within that time frame will come with a 3 month cooldown, keep that in mind.

Unbanned. Don´t waste this chance.
