Why do you think you were banned: i was banned initially for swapping items between players i had made a second character to diverse my experience in RPUK. i had a friend connected to both characters (purely natural meeting no scripted rp) who had given the alternate character a pistol standard pistol i think it was to be exact. Upon creation of this character i realised i found it hard to seperate the two characters and i knew id mess up so was returning the gun to the container getting ready to delete the alternate character i had returned to this container on my “main” character and by chance took the same gun i replaced (there must have been 10 weapons in the container at the time) instantly got banned for G.29 G3.5
Why should we unban you: thanks to the member of staff who picks this up i hope alls well

as was mentioned in my first appeal i was in aware i couldn’t know about a container on different charecters and i definatley didn’t mean to swap items between players i decided it best to remove my alternate player as i knew id slip up on something and didnt want to “take advantage” of other role players in doing so, i was banned before i could complete the wipe of the alternate character.

i was new to PC and RP at the time i only brought the PC as i had friends on the server irl and thought it looked good. I could have took longer to fully understand the rules and in the time i’ve been banned i’ve played more RP and spoken to experienced roleplayers about the do’s and dont’s and have come to decent terms with the rules of RP.

i would like to return to RP to continue as Terry Brick i have no interest in alternate characters and id like to take a different path with my character. Since my ban i’ve left Cutlass for reasons behind the scenes and have absolutely no interest in returning to that gang at all is rather explore different avenues

and honestly i was too naive to even think, what happened was i mistakenly logged into the character and thought while im in here let me return the weapon to the guy who owned it as it was only a lend anyway as i was planning on shutting down the character because i felt like dividing my characters lives would be too hard and it mess up.

logged out and at the time Cutlass was setting up a arcade night and we’d had a couple of threats i can’t remember who off now was maybe tecas at the time? been a while now. In our groupie we’d been told stay strapped incase anyone tried anything so i went to the container and picked out a gun, im sure at the time there was 4 standard pistols m16 heavy pistols might of even been a recv too and various other guns i took a standard because it wasn’t a official gang beef so thought i’ll carry light, i didn’t think anything of the fact i took the gun i just replaced it was a complete lapse in concentration. I’m not in a position to lie about it i had a few million at the time of my ban i had nearly 10 million in cars at the time off the top of my head and various amounts of people can vouch for the grinding i did for my money in the city

im happy to own up to the fact i fucked up massively due to
1) lack of knowledge to the rules put in place to prevent things like this
2) lack of due care and attention to what would cause an advantage over other players
3)my level of roleplay at the time as a new player

prior to this i’ve had one NVL report and that’s it i’m not here to lie my way back into the server as i said in my last appeal i didn’t want the character and was happy to see the back of it, i was returning a gun that didnt belong to that character and it had nothing else on it as i didnt play that account it wasnt an intentional exploit just a rookie mistake and lack of care which i apologise for

when i got banned and had to research my bans i took time to read the rules and understand the pros to having such rules in place where as when i was a baldy to it all it was more a case of a quick look and jump in and play i didn’t realise how deep RP got and how serious the ‘laws’ are.

i’ve took time playing a variety of servers, all different types of server and got to grips with rules of roleplay both server based and just generic dos and don’ts of roleplay,

i’ve been talking to very experienced roleplayers about RP and how to handle certain situations to prevent NVL or alike rule breaks and i learned the meaning of character separation and the understanding of the advantage it gives me doing what i did to result in my ban wether that be intentionally or not it still serves the same purpose

i’ve watched a lot of videos on streaming RP from police to crim and learned how to correctly roleplay and that it isn’t just okay to do what i please we are all there to have fun and we are all there to follow the same rules nobody is above those rules and it’s what makes the game fun

also i have learned the consequences of my actions and don’t want to put hours of my life into something to risk it becoming wasted due to finding ‘short cuts’ it isn’t worth it and there’s no prosperity in it
