Server: GTA RP
Character Name: Micky bambino
Steam ID: 76561199191434501
Ban ID (just the numbers): 18827
Ban Reason: c2.3 (Combat Logging)
Why do you think you were banned: Combat logged after being shot and didn't wait for medic
Why should we unban you: Firstly, I'd like to thank you for allowing me another chance to appeal. I was unaware that I wasn't allowed to use ai and understand its hard for the person reading appeal to judge whether its merely grammatically edited or fully written by ai.
Moving on, Again I'd like to apologize for the vagueness of my previous appeals and will make sure to properly explain myself this time with my own words. As said previously my ban was as a result of pure ignorance from me towards the rules as i naively thought the same rules which applied to the servers in which i previously played (semi serious) would apply to a serious server such as this one. I'm aware that this is very foolish as this server requires more rules and adherence to said rules to keep the serious roleplaying experience as authentic and immersive as possible.
The combat logging incident which lead to my ban (logging off after being shot) was down to my mistake of not reading the rules and understanding the severity of my actions. After reading the rules again i fully understand the reason why these rules are in place. By logging off after being shot i ruin the immersive feel of the roleplaying scene. I also prevented myself from experiencing the natural consequences of my actions which also applies to anybody who chooses to combat log whether that be after a car crash, in the middle of a police chase or whilst being arrested by police and many other scenarios. By logging off you not only ruin the immersive experience for oneself but for everybody around you such as the police or the attending paramedic who is there to do their job which they cannot do if one logs off. If one simply stays put and doesn't log off they are contributing to the experience as they allow events to unfold naturally and therefore contribute to the experience making the server better for everybody involved.
I do truthfully deeply regret any actions that i took that resulted in a less immersive experience for the player as since my ban I've been able to play a number of serious roleplaying server and now truly appreciate the experience of serious roleplaying and would also feel very let down if somebody where to ruin that experience for me by combat logging or any offence that lessens the roleplaying experience.
I really enjoyed this server whenever i played it but did take it for granted as i was not fully committed to the roleplaying but i now believe i can positively impact this server and commit myself to playing with the upmost adherence to the rules
Please confirm that you have read the unban appeal process and rules: Yes

How serious are you about this roleplaying thing?
Do you actually wanna take part in it?

if so..
Whats your story? How do you plan on developing your characters?

firstly, my character is a middle aged man from london. coming into the city i put out a few job adverts online such as repairman, locksmith and even a priest. i was getting no real sustainable income via these avenues so i turned to crime and started dealing cocaine which i didn't want to do at the start but was forced into doing it as i was making no money. the way in which financed the drugs was by buying them off a friend in which i have been with since the start of my time on this server and also frequently do bin jobs with him and also is the reason i want to return to this server as he is a regular player and does not like the other servers we have played on together. when/if i get back onto the server i would like to pursue the avenue of potentially becoming a priest which may sound strange but i think it'd be a good way of showing how i have changed not only in the way i view rp in a more serious matter now but also as it fascinates me as to what i could be able to do with his job in terms of the entertainment i can give to the fellow roleplayers and i believe it would make the world more immersive. i will be honest i am not sure whether i will stay as a law abiding citizen but i can guarantee i will be a rule abiding participant in the server.

You have tried appealing a few times but its been mostly poor effort amongst other things.

Why do we see a different tone now?

In the past I didn't know why I was banned due to not reading the rules. the reason I've changed my tone is because I'm trying to be respectful to the people reading and I'm putting in more effort in my appeal because I want to play this server again as I now appreciate roleplaying server much more now. Not really sure what else I can say or what more I can say, I'm being respectful and acknowledge my past appeals have been contentious and lack substance.

Why do we have a rule like C2.3 ?

Personally I believe I've already explained why such a rule is in place with my initial appeal which obviously you have read but if it allows me to get accepted back I'm more than happy to go into a bit more depth about it. Firstly, as I've said previously its there to prevent players from not facing consequences for their actions. Its very important fort the role-player to face the consequences of their actions or even the benefits of their actions as if you log off in the middle of a scene such as mid police chase, robbery, whilst dead and many more examples, you are stopping yourself from finishing a scene which may mean not getting prison time, getting medical aid, getting money from robbery. Also the rules are in place to allow a player to full immerse themself into the roleplay as if i was to log off I'm ruining the immersion for me and for my fellow role players which goes against the basic rules and ethics of a serious role playing server. Its also in place to keep the server consistent which means my character may not be able to develop and prevents realistic interactions if one simply logs off in the middle of an important or any scene. Lastly, there is a trust from all of the players in the community to not break the rules and combat logging undermines this trust which the creates a lack of trust in the community which means the server may become less enjoyable and toxic due to this.

Just seeing if there is any consistency.

If you want to be unbanned, do you agree to have the character's inventory and loadout wiped?

I fully understand and expected that anyway due to the severity of the rule break. Just wondering though if i do get unbanned will my photos on my characters phone stay cause i had a couple job adverts on there.

The wipe affects nothing but the loadout and inventory.

Thats fine. In the future, contact staff. It's such a waste coming back here for a rulebreak like this.
