Server: GTA RP
Character Name: Micky bambino
Steam ID: 76561199191434501
Ban ID (just the numbers): 18827
Ban Reason: c2.3 (Combat Logging)
Why do you think you were banned: I combat logged after being shot and did not wait for a medic.
Why should we unban you: First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for the opportunity to reappeal my ban, and I deeply apologize for the vagueness and shortcomings of my previous appeal. I recognize that my last submission may not have fully conveyed my understanding of the situation, and I wish to take this opportunity to provide a more thorough explanation as to why I believe I should be unbanned. The incident that led to my ban, specifically the combat log, was a direct result of my ignorance of the server’s rules and my own naivety. At the time, I mistakenly assumed that the rules in this server would be similar to those I had encountered in semi-serious RP servers, where certain allowances might be made in more casual situations. This was, in hindsight, an incredibly poor judgment on my part, and I now fully understand that this is a very serious and structured RP environment, which requires a greater level of adherence to specific rules and guidelines. I failed to recognize the difference, and as a result, I made a critical mistake. When it comes to the combat logging incident itself, I admit that I was entirely unaware of the severity of my actions. I foolishly believed that logging off after being shot would not be an issue, and I did not wait for a medic to attend to my character. After reading the rules thoroughly and reflecting on the situation, I now realize that this was not only a violation of the rules but also a serious breach of the immersive experience that this server aims to provide. I understand that the core purpose of this rule is to prevent players from avoiding the natural consequences of their actions, whether that be an accidental fall, a car crash, or, in my case, being shot. By combat logging, I denied other players the chance to experience the realistic consequences of my actions and disrupted the flow of the roleplay. Moreover, this rule is not simply about maintaining order but also about ensuring that players take responsibility for their actions within the scene. When a player dies or is incapacitated, it is important that they remain in the game and engage with the ongoing roleplay, whether that means waiting for a medic or interacting with fellow players in the scene. By logging off, I failed to take responsibility for my actions, and I now recognize how detrimental that is to the integrity of the roleplay experience. If I had simply stayed and allowed the situation to unfold naturally, it would have contributed to the realism and overall enjoyment of the server for everyone involved. I also fully understand that my rule break had consequences not just for me, but for other players as well. My actions interfered with their roleplay, and it disrupted the overall atmosphere of the server. This is something I deeply regret, and I appreciate the fact that the consequences I faced, including the ban, are a fair response to my actions. I now recognize that such behaviour undermines the very essence of what makes this server and the roleplaying experience so enjoyable and meaningful for all players involved. Lastly, I would like to emphasize that, since my ban, I have played on several other serious RP servers, and through this experience, I have come to genuinely appreciate the value of immersive roleplaying. I now fully understand the importance of following the rules and respecting the integrity of the server, and I no longer wish to make the same mistake again. I understand that my actions were due to ignorance, but I am fully committed to following the rules and contributing positively to the roleplaying environment going forward. I genuinely enjoy this server and the community, and I am hopeful that you will give me the opportunity to return and prove that I have learned from my mistakes. I truly believe that I can contribute to the server in a positive and respectful manner, and I would be grateful for the chance to do so.
Thank you
