In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because I carried out an assassination without initiating any direct roleplay with the victim, which in theory classifies this as an RDM.
Why should we unban you ?: Right. Here we are again. I never thought I’d have to write up one of these again, but here I am.
For starters, I would like to present you my “perspective” on this whole situation, step by step.
First of all, ever since my unban, I have made some “friends” among the server.
One of these friends, happens to be the person I carried out this incident with.
I was just being myself in the city, trying to grow and improve in general, when I get a call, from my friend, saying something along the lines, and I quote - “Yo, Alex, are you free to talk? I got us a way to make money, now.”
My initial thoughts were - Right, this will probably be a “shady” method. With all this, the person that called me with this proposal, was part of the gang I was trying to join almost ever since my unban. So, money was not the main reason of carrying this “mission” out, but growing, and getting closer with the gang, which might’ve finally got me the role I was aiming for in the city. And so, I accepted almost without hesitation.
After this, me and my accomplice got on a radio frequency together, and started discussing the plan to the smallest detail, as seen in the clips he provided in my report.
A brief summary of this plan would be - I will talk to the guy, take the money of him, meanwhile, you hide in one of the City Hall’s rooms, and, when he would give me the “green light” which was the double tap of the radio. Although I felt a bit sceptical of this plan, and even recommended an alternative, of instead of killing him, perhaps just kidnapping him. However, that plan died quick, as I after realised that even though we kidnapped him, he would still have his memory, meaning this could still backlash through the authorities, and so we sticked to the main plan. I might have the clip of me saying that, but I’m pretty sure you can’t hear my own microphone in my clips, I’ll have to double check.
The way I saw this was as a paid assassination, which not only will it bring me money, it will also put me higher in the gangs eyes.
I carried out the assassination, and shortly after continued with the plan of driving him somewhere far, taking his phone / radio, smashing the SIM card, and dumping him in the ocean, to get rid of any loose ends.
At the time, I thought what I did was within the rules, however, now that I look back, and even immediatly after the incident when we spoke to the victim, I came to the realisation that I should’ve indeed said something, which will make it “fair” and fun for both parties of the incident.
I see how this can be classified as RDM, and, even though you’ve heard it all before, not only from me, but from everyone in this “Unban Appeal” section, I am genuinely sorry, as I see how I’ve mistaken.
Going further, if granted another chance, I would like to continue proving myself to the gang, but of course be more careful and thinking multiple times before doing said actions.
Also, I would like to carry on building relationships throughout the city, as I believe my character can go way further than it already has.
Ever since my unban, and especially in this past month, I would say my roleplay skills drastically improved, yet I keep leaving out crucial “details”, which is what keeps bringing me to this forum.
I am sorry for being here once again, as I said, and I hope you can understand my part of the story.
