Why do you think you were banned: Hi there hope all are well
I’m not 100% sure if my unban appeal was denied due to staff believing I am underage, or as a result of the time period I played for when being underage.
I’m unaware of the reason that resulted in mark coming to these conclusions of handing out a PEGI ban.
I would firstly like to start with admitting that I did play the server whilst underage, this was myself being selfish, and not thinking about other peoples experience, and most importantly not taking into consideration why the PEGI rule is there in the first place, when I found out it was an 18+ community, I did continue playing for my own enjoyment, which as stated above is selfish of me^.
I would also like to admit that yes when mark asked me my date of birth, I confidentially said it as I thought I would be able to get away with the fact I played the server whilst underage, as I am now of age.
When I first realised I had been giving a PEGI ban I was confused as I did think everything was solved in discord with mark, and the fact I was no longer underage this is where it links back to the fact if the ban if due to me playing whilst underage or staff as a whole believe I still am underage.
Anyways i spoke with OneShot, about the whole situation, and I thank him for breaking everything down for me and giving me a better understanding. It was wrong for me to continue playing the server when I found out it was 18+
Why should we unban you: I believe part of the reason my first appeal was denied was due to OneShot finding holes within my story, one of them holes was the fact I stated “I did I had read through the in game rules but not in depth with the community rules as my rulebreak came from in game” (I may be wrong) but I think OneShot thought that i meant I read the rules from in game, I don’t know if i could of have worded it better or anything if so I apologise, I would just like to clarify that I meant I had read the rules relating to in game situations, but with the community rules I briefly looked over. However this is not me giving excuses for my actions, or trying to downplay what I did, this is me just correcting the context as stuff like this leads to a loss of trust.
Now it is understandable if most staff has lost their trust in me, I like to think of myself as not a liar, I have not been Pegi checked before so I have not lied to staffs faces, yes when mark did do a Pegi check on me I was lucky enough not to have to lie as I’m now of age, I did keep it hidden I was underage for a good period of time, which could be counted as a lie.
I would like to think staff do still have some trust in me, as the 3 years I have been apart of this community I have not broken any other rules and have stuck by them.
Now, i do believe that it took me to turning 18 to truly understand the consequences or possible risk but of playing the server whilst underage.
I do think I provide good rp, I like to think most people would agree that I do provide a good experience for others when interacting with them.
As a higher up of the chippiones, I have been working very hard with new players to ensure the gang grows.
Lastly, I am a strong believer that people learn from their mistakes and become better, I can’t say I have had many mistakes within this community, yes mine was bigger than others, but I think the main point is that I am now 18+, and I can only apologise for the mistake I made and accept full responsibility.
