Reason given for your ban: G1.2 (RDM)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for a situation that occurred at the Prison in which I shot at a G6 officer. We had been called by someone in Vagos explaining that there was a problem with a G6 officer, I went up by myself as others went to Sandy Hospital to check someone in. Whenever a situation like this happens the most common spot to shoot from is the rooftop near the canteen in which I was located on. As the said person came over to the bins which can be searched the G6 officer downed him in 3 Punches. At that point I had shouted over the radio he just got beat up with Knuckle Dusters. The same G6 officer then downed another person at the same time. As he was standing over their bodies I shot at him. I didn't down him but that doesn't change the severity of what I did. I had not said anything to the G6 officer due to the distance and left it up to the vagos member inside to tell him off the situation he was about to put himself in. However as I said that is my fault not his, it is my responsibility to provide high quality RP at all time especially from a Whitelisted gang.

Why should we unban you ?: I understand I have a long rap sheet of bans and warnings and for that I can only apologize. Alot of staff will be hesitant to unban me for that reason, despite this I still want to prove I can provide great roleplay to the people in the server. In addition to this, the quality of roleplay in this server is too a much higher standard compared to other servers which are mainly focused on fragging. Since my last unban I have done alot more in the city, I have made a large amount of friends and overall become a better roleplayer. For the situation at the prison I can only say it was piss poor rp from my side and not something to be proud of or boast about. I genuinely do want to come back to the server. I was still under FBS for my ban and got banned right at the end due to my stupid actions that landed me in this position, however whether under FBS or not it should never have got to that scenario. I know crim update is coming up and would love to grind and be a apart of that. Given I was to get unbanned I wouldn't be in this same situation again. Now I know that everyone says this however actions speak louder than words and this is something that I would like to prove. I have two characters both of which have very different rp stories and I believe it would be a loss to the city if they wouldn't to make a return.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my appeal. I agree that my records don’t portray the best of image especially to a staff member who is reading my unban appeal for something which I shouldn’t have done which has now landed me in this position. However, I genuinely do care about this server and getting banned just throws all my credibility down the drain. Despite this I still believe I can provide good quality rp to people and I have seen the same given to myself. I have made a decent amount of friends on this server and have developed my roleplay whilst doing so. I have never been one to shoot without high quality roleplay behind it and I take fully responsibility for my stupid decision which landed me with this perma.


From a staff members perspective I can see why you would be hesitant to unban myself. I know a large amount of people say it but given the chance I wouldn’t put myself in this position again of making a stupid decision leading to another ban. With any unban, precautions have to be taken to make sure your not wasting your time unbanning someone for them to show back up in the appeals only a few months later. RDM is a rule that if broken ruins another persons rp something that I wouldn’t ever want to do again.


My warnings and bans don’t show me in the best of light, for this I only hope that I can be given a another chance once again to prove I can rp to a high quality and that I enjoy my time and care about the server.

As you have pointed out yourself already, it is quite disappointing to see you in this section of the forums again, after staff have been nothing but lenient with you over the past year. The amount of warnings you have gotten is quite something and a courtesy not everyone is lucky enough to get. 

How could you make such a rookie mistake like getting banned for RDM? You know how things work, don´t you?

It was a rookie mistake to say the least, definitely not one that I should be making. I am fully aware of the rules and wouldn’t have ever expected myself to get banned for RDM. Given that I can assure you it’s a mistake I will not be making again. I took time over the 2 weeks to brush up on the rules once again for the possibility that I get unbanned I won’t make the same silly decision that could land me with another perma. 
 

I understand how lenient the staff have been with myself and for that I can only Thank you and ask for another chance to prove I can roleplay to a high standard.

It was a lapse of judgement on my behalf to shoot at the G6 officer, I left it upto the Vagos member inside and that is nothing but my fault. I can’t blame another person for my actions and for that I apologize and it will never happen again. 

The warnings I have received don’t look good on my record at all especially with the 2 permanent bans on top of that. I would like to change staffs views on myself and provide the high rp that I know I am capable of doing so.

Please quote me the rule you broke and explain, in your own words, why it is in place and what would happen if it was not. 
Furthermore, I´d like you to give me a definition of "RDM" to your own understanding and how you will make sure to avoid breaking this rule again in future, should we unban you.

 
 Random Death Match (RDM) - Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM.

I had shot at a G6 officer without interacting with the individual. I didn’t provide the quality rp needed to avoid this rule break. By breaking this rule you’re ruining someone’s RP story and for that I apologize. I wouldn’t intentionally try to ruin someone’s day and am truly disappointed in myself for the stupid action that had much larger consequences. 
 

Given I am unbanned I would always provide high quality rp in future situations, I would always make sure to interact with the person before shooting them to prevent myself from violating the rule. 
 

I genuinely apologize and will not break any rules going forward if unbanned.

That´s not quite the reason, is it? As far as I am aware, you wanted to leave the community.

Yes I did want to leave the community, partially because I also had other things to be doing. Personally I wanted to leave because of the crim aspect, however now looking back over it I wish I still had the chance to continue rping on my cop. From my prospective I had given up on my crim and didn’t see much more to do. 
 

Im sure the question of why didn’t I say that at the beginning will come up. Well it should have, I should have been more open about it and it was silly not to have been. 
 

 
So which one was it? Not being able to reply or not wanting to come back?

It was both to be honest, yes I had a lot going on and I also had it playing in the back of my mind that I didn’t want to return. 
 

However to put it simply I didn’t want to to come back. Looking back at it, it was a stupid decision and a rash one. I had enough of Crim and took for granted being able to play on my cop character. I do genuinely want to come back to the server and play on my cop and I know that not being fully honest isn’t the best approach and that it’s one that doesn’t get you very far.

I will give you one more chance. Any ban within the next 6 months however, will be permanent again and much, much harder to come back from. Do not mess it up.
