In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: (Apologies - having to repost due to timing out - I have been away in Barcelona with work)

So, admittedly i'm a larger than life character on RPUK - Bethany drives around in her Pink Electric Taxi, serving the community and bringing joy to people she meets. However, on this occasion I was attacked by 2 people who were pretending to be mechanics, and in self defence I severely injured them both. Then, feeling bad I went back to take them to hospital, and the police were there... so I carried on driving. That turned into a police chase, where I panicked and anxiety took over, and I broke RP rules and logged out. I've never been in trouble before, and with my recent success in passing the first round of NHS interviews, I didn't want to jeopardise my chances of becoming a paramedic. After a while, I logged back on to return my taxi to the rank, and when I got in to drive - a police officer was in the back, so I logged again as it made me JUMP out of my skin. I completely understand this is out of RP rules, and its not something i've ever done, however I was just worried about it ruining my chances with the NHS.
I logged on a couple of days later, and was innocently doing my taxi work, when 2 very abusive police officers started chasing me down on my way to Paleto. They were hostile, and used unprofessional, degrading language towards me. Now, I've been attacked previously by fake policemen, and I just had a gut feeling that they weren't legit, so i kept driving and doing my jobs. When I was ready to log for the night, they rammed my taxi, and one got out and was hitting my taxi with a crowbar, all while being abusive. I logged off as I needed to go to sleep. Again, I understand this is breaking RP rules, and I sincerely apologise for my actions. I'm an avid RP rule follower usually, and my decisions backfired on me - this happened only twice within 5 minutes of each other, on the same day - before then, you can see from my game play history I stuck to all rules within the city.

Why should we unban you ?: As you can see, my track record is clean. I'm a massive fan of this server - IMO its the best one out there. I have lots of friends within this community, and I'm a law abiding citizen who just likes to come and bring people joy and do my work. I have never broken the rules before, and always stick to RP (even if I have to contend with people RDMing me while doing my taxi work). I sincerely apologise for breaking the rules, and I can assure you this wouldn't happen again in future, should you approve my appeal. As I said, my actions backfired on me, and I'm disappointed in my rash decisions. I hope you can give me another chance.

Since the last appeal timed out, I will copy over the last questions you had asked and we will go from that point.

Not only have you combat logged once, but 3 times by your admission?

I'm sensing a pattern here, you claim to be an "avid rule follower" yet you broke the same rule 3 times?

I appreciate your honesty however saying you are a stickler for rules yet repeatedly breaking the same one doesn't instil much confidence in me.

Thanks for your response.

I did add a little more into my appeal... the combat logging only happened on two separate occasions , admittedly twice in a 5 minute period, as the police officer startled me in the back of my car when I relogged, so I closed the laptop in shock. As I explained, the second isolated combat log was through tiredness. I didn't have time to go through the motions of being arrested, and taken to prison etc as I had RL work early the next morning, which I understand isn't acceptable according to RP rules, but situationally at that moment in time (I should have logged off far earlier) it's what I did. 

I can assure you if you allow me back onto the server, I will be an outstanding member of the city, and lead by example. I'm not a kid that comes on here to troll, I rather enjoyed building up a life in the city, and a good rapport with other like minded citizens. I wouldn't want to be tarred with the same brush as the people that do cause genuine upset and discomfort within the city that I unfortunately had negative encounters with.

I hope you can see the sincerity behind my apology, and that I put my hands up and own the fact I was wrong to break RP on those occasions.

No, I took a step back... I stopped playing RP all together. I did briefly try other servers while I had to wait 4 weeks for an appeal, but nothing compares to RPUK. Then obviously I had the house move, and have been away lots for work and the time has flown by.

Hi Liam, 

Thank you for your question. I can assure you I wont put myself in that situation again. But, if for any reason it were to occur, I would abide by the RP rules.  I understand that by doing what I did doesn't give the other RP players a true experience of what RP should be. I understand its supposed to replicate real life, and going forward - should I be unbanned, I would make sure I follow this through.

ive gone through your previous appeals aswell as this current one and i think its fair to say that you’ve “served your time”. Everyone can make a mistake, some more blatant than others but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get a second chance.

That being said, since you’ve been away for a long time make sure you read the rules before you log back on to the server!
