Unban Appeal for Haza_Unban
In-game Name: Barry Douglas
Server: Community Banned
Steam ID: 76561198267590294
Ban ID: n/a
Reason given for your ban: C1.6
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Firstly, I would like to thank whoever is taking the time out of their day to read this appeal. The prevailing cause for my ban stems from trolling and being disruptive and a general nuisance towards certain staff members via discord DM’s. I conducted myself in a manner that isn’t permitted in this community and was rightfully handed a permanent ban from the community.
Why should we unban you ?: My ban took place after a big bulk of the Vagos were banned due to various comments made by themselves in the private Vagos discord which were then leaked to staff members and action was taken against them. Although I didn’t make any of those comments myself and I wasn’t banned, at that time I felt my time on the server was over. I had been playing in the community for around 2 years and saw those people as good friends of mine and thought I wouldn’t get the same enjoyment from the server without them which is when I then took my own initiative and decided to start wrongfully trolling a staff member. my actions were extremely rash and something I would not engage in again.
Looking back on this nearly a year later I wonder and question myself why I did what I did. I find it quite embarrassing that I acted like that over a game, and it is no where near a true representation of the actual person I am. I can only apologise for my actions and apologise to anyone who I may have offended in the process.
After my ban, I tried other servers for the next month or so but nothing came close to what RPUK had to offer and the community that was connected to the server. I then lost any passion and desire to play any fivem server and decided to give it a whole break. I haven’t touched fivem in around 9 months and distanced myself completely. I also distanced myself from everyone, I am barely in contact with anyone from the server/vagos. This break was needed and has allowed me to now reflect on the past and try to make amends for my mistakes.
I haven't had the cleanest record in the past however this was my first permanent ban. I don’t remember all of the other previous bans but do recall having a few bans due to ooc comments whether that be in the discord or ooc chat. I know this paints a negative view of what sort of person I may be however I can honestly say that I am not like that anymore. I felt like that sort of behaviour stemmed from playing the server way too much and the behaviour expressed by myself is something I regret and not what I am truly like.
Everything I did in the past I take full responsibility for, and I can only hold my hands up and apologise for what I did. I would be grateful if I was permitted an opportunity to display my true self and not the toxic, childish person you witnessed in the past.
I would again like to thank whoever is reading this appeal.
