Reason given for your ban: C2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: The Reason Why i Was banned was because I combat logged during an active scene ,in which i Died in a Shootout after attempting to rob a taxi driver , the reason why i combat logged was just out of pure frustration , as anger got the better of me and during the previous nights i had my characters bodies dumped in the ocean. Now that i Think about it I Really Regret The decision i made at the time . I Have Had Tons Of Fun and Joyful Memories on The Server and it would be a shame to never be able to play on it again. This is Also the First Time I Have Ever Broken a Rule in This Server-As Far as i am a wear of . The Rule i Broke was Combat Logging which is When You Disconnect Your Game on Purpose To Avoid an RP Scenario e.g. when Being Chased by the police you disconnect.This Rule is Put in Place and Enforced to Prevent People Logging out and saving their items or to prevent RP from happening.

Why should we unban you ?:  The Reason why You Should Unban me is Because i think i should be given a second chance as i Have Been Playing On the Server for around 6 - 7 Months , and I Have Created Many Entertaining and Humerus RP Scenarios . I Have Also had time to Reflect on what i had done and how stupid of me it was to do it.In addition to this i have acknowledged the rule i broke and i can assure you i will never do this again.Due to The Severity of it.Once again i do Apologize for my actions.

So you seem to have read the rules and have a basic understanding of this rule. 

You claim anger got the better of you, Does this happen often?

How many other times have emotions clouded your judgement to where you've broken rules?

How if we do give you another opportunity can we assure this doesn't happen?

 
Hi Stuart , Thanks For your Fast Response and taking your time to read my appeal.

Anger does not Usually get 'the better of me' it very very rarely ever happens and this was just a 1 time thing. I Cannot Recall any time other than this where my emotions (anger) lead me to breaking the rules.If Given another chance within this community i will ensure that i wont break any rules , since now i have been punished for it , and now i will know the true reality/consequences of what happens when someone does this and i will definitely learn from my mistakes.Also I Have had over 1500 +  Hrs of FiveM Roleplay Experience . If a Situation like this were to happen again i would be sure to follow the roleplay and disregard my emotions to make sure the other person is having the best quality RP Possible.

 
Indeed you've been here for a while within RPUK overall over a year at this point (On and off) this is why to an extend it's disappointing to see someone with so much experience playing wind up in the appeals section more so on a first ban. 

So after you combat logged and returned to the server why didn't you try and rectify what you had done over waiting for a ban to be placed?

Did it not occur to you that doing this would land you here prior ? 

Did you at any point since joining the community take the time to read and understand our rules, Both community and GTA?

After I Combat Logged from the server ,i thought that was it and there was no going back since the violation of the rule had already tooken place and i didn't believe i would be able to rectify the situation.Now that i think about it i definitely should have tried to resolve the situation at the very least .From The Moment i did it i knew what punishment i was gonna receive and shortly after regretted what i had done. I Would have tried contacting the person who it happened to but i believed it was too late.Before Joining The Community /Server for the first time ,I Made Sure To Read all of the rules (Community&GTA) thoroughly to Ensure i would know what was right and wrong within this server.

Whilst yes you did break a rule and I understand that from your side there was "No going back" Indeed you should of tried to resolve the situation overall. 

You've mentioned that you have provided "Many Entertaining and Humours RP Scenarios", Lets say for a moment you we're back in the situation you was in, How would it have played out? 

Also above you said "since now i have been punished for it , and now i will know the true reality/consequences of what happens when someone does this and i will definitely learn from my mistakes" If you wasn't banned for this would you even stick to the rules, Why does it take a ban to follow them?

 
If I were to be placed back in the situation , after i was shot - depending where it was i would have acted out my injuries and followed the RP with whatever was gonna happen to me (in-game character).

All The Time i was Playing on the server i was always aware of the rules and i was always abiding by them except for once in this situation . Before the Ban i was always aware of the punishment of Combat logging , but in this situation the "anger got the better of me", but moving forward if this does ever happen again i will be sure to follow the RP and afterwards after the scene has finished i would take a break from the server.

So what made this situation any different from ones you've been in previously? 

Is it a common theme for you to pick and choose when you decide to follow the rules, Since you said you knew the rules and punishments and always abide by them apart from this situation.

The thing about this situation that was different was that prior to me playing that night i had had conflict with my family in irl which had made me angry/stressed out.So once i Died i left due to my anger.I Know and Accept that real life things should not be be affecting my roleplay experience . In This Situation i am fully at fault , If a situation like this occurs again in irl i will simply not play on the server to avoid any mishaps .For me it is not a common theme to pick and choose when i decide to follow the rules. That is the reason why i have never had any punishments in the past for breaking rules.I Can Promise you that i will never do anything like this again , and never let my emotions decide on what happens in roleplay.

 
Can you quote the rule you broke to get you here and in your own words explain why you believe we have such a rule in place please?

The Rule I broke was Combat Logging (C2.3) this rule is put in place to prevent people logging out ,to save their items and to ensure that people dont choose what situations they are in-ensuring they follow the flow of rp . For example if you are being held at gunpoint,if you then leave the game that will be classed as combat logging.

Good evening H4MZ4, 

Going over the responses one thing we hold true is honesty, Giving that and how you've conducted yourself within the appeal I'm satisfied that given another chance you will follow the rules moving forward and having this as a learning experience. Indeed this is your first punishment since you first joined whilst breaking any rule isn't a good look you have managed to keep a clean record until this point.

Don't waste the opportunity we are giving you and I do hope as you mentioned we don't see you back in this section moving forward. Just to keep in mind if you do end up breaking another rule within the 6 month period due to the fair bans system you will end up right back here, However with better knowledge of the rules I doubt it will happen. Please make sure you are up to date with the rules before you rejoin.
