Reason given for your ban: C2.3 (Combat Logging)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned due to leaving mid RP. Although i was dead i still left the server while other players were interacting with me.

Why should we unban you ?: First of all I would just like to say I am re-posting the same ban appeal I used one month ago, however this time hopefully you’ll consider my application as it has been longer than a month since I was banned, and I spoke to Stuart and he said it was fine if I used the same appeal that I had previously wrote. First of all i'd like to apologize for my actions and any implications it had on fellow RP'ers. I would also like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this appeal. I'm not going to lie and say that i've been the perfect player on this server since i've joined, However i have learnt a lot and seriously improved my RP. This actions was a one time offense out of pure frustration and anger on my end, nothing more. I was swearing at a player and another guy took it as aimed at him (fair enough), then an officer pulled over and asked his friends to drive me up to pillbox (which they did with the officer following behind) and as soon as i began to be carried in to pillbox, the officer left. This gave them the opportunity to put me back in to the car, at which point i stupidly left the server. I would say part of me wanted to avoid losing my items however another part was just frustrated that i let that interaction happen in the first place. Obviously as you can tell from me applying for this appeal, I've now realized how stupid it was of me to get so angry over losing a few virtual items! I am happy to accept responsibility for my actions and do not mind if any/all of my items are taken away or my character is wiped. I recently had a chat with the staff as a few people i was rolling with got pulled aside, and i've started to appreciate the idea that its more about doing fun things rather than trying to be the richest or most known person in the city. This server is pure fun for me and I've never played on anything like it and im sure i won't find another similar to it. I hope my ban can at least be reduced to a temporary one if i don't get fully unbanned, as i understand i still need to learn from my actions. (C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

This rule is obviously in place in order to ensure smooth and consistent roleplay, with punishments being in place for people that disrupt others flow of roleplay. i understand fully the consequences of my actions now and fully hope you would allow me to have another chance. I also understand the reason for it being a permanent ban, as there is no real way you can mistake combat logging, whereas something such as VDM or RDM it could potentially be a mistake

 
You've mentioned this was and I'll quote "was a one time offense out of pure frustration and anger on my end". How can we be sure that you won't let your emotions get the better of you again moving forth? 

We understand that we all like to have nice things, However you are correct by saying breaking this rule over items isn't good, Since we shouldn't hold items to a higher standard than the RP we can provide. Items are replaceable, Situations are unique.

Items are replaceable, Situations are unique. I think you sum it all up quite nicely there, obviously there is no way for me to guarantee you that I won’t commit any offences in the future, just like every other player in the city. However I can guarantee a higher standard of role play from myself moving forward which I would love to share with other people and also enhance their experience, as well as mine. I’ve had some time away from the city to reflect on my actions and truly regret them.

Now you mentioned about saving items, So I assume this is why you combat logged, Please correct me if I'm wrong with this one. So with this in mind, We now have no idea on how the roleplay would of gone, Maybe you would of kept your items, Maybe you would of lost them. I believe it's only fair as this was the case you combat logged that all items on your person will be removed. This includes everything within your inventory, Items and cash held on your person and any weapons you had at this time. Do you agree with this?

Moving forth lets say you get into a situation where it doesn't go your way or simply you end up downed, How would this situation be managed? 

Believe one thing was also missed from the above questions, How can we be sure that you won't let your emotions get the better of you again moving forth?

Of course I am happy for my persons belongings that I had on me at the time to be wiped.

moving forth to begin with I’ll try and RP my way out of being killed in the first place, but in the event that does happen, like you said it’s best to roleplay the situations right up until the very end because it could always work out as a misunderstanding and I could end up actually keeping those items. But to not let my emotions let the better of me I’m just going to try and roleplay all situations out and enjoy the moment I’m in rather than worrying about items that I’m carrying on me at that time, as you have said previously that they are all replaceable.

I'll hold you to what you have stated here, So I hope you don't let me down with this chance being provided to yourself. Now looking over your warnings you have received quiet a few overall, So this will be your golden opportunity to prove to us you are here for the right reasons. Should you break any rule within a 6 month period following the fair bans system you will end up right back here in the appeals section where it won't be as straight forward to return, So I do hope you take this opportunity serious and don't let me down as I don't want to regret making this decision. 

As mentioned above the items you had on your person have now been removed, This was everything on your person including any cash you had within your inventory. Once you do log back in you will still be downed so you will need to finish off this roleplay, I'll leave it as your decision if you are saved by the NHS, Taken to hospital or respawn. I would also suggest to ensure you are aware of all the rules both GTA and Community prior to rejoining the server.
