Ban Reason: Rule G2.9
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for switching characters, sending money to someone else , then having them send it to my other character
Why should we unban you: I honestly forgot about this rule and I did it out of frustration I just spent around 30k at los Santos customs and after losing the money nothing happened to my car, out of desperation I resorted to this and I have read the rules since and understood my mistake, I also understand how it makes the game unfair and I now read and understand the rules, I want nothing but to be able to come back to this server and carry on playing, I assure you I have all the rules noted and will not make a stupid mistake like this again.

I know the frustration from losing the money does not justify my mistake but its what lead me to do this so if you could accept my appeal I would be grateful and will never make a mistake like this again

I hope you are well?

I can understand the frustration loosing money due to a potential bug, but what made you think this was the right way to go about it?

You have been around for some time, so was there no conscious thought that this was not the correct way to go about it?

Should you get into a situation like this again, what would you do in the future, if you loose money or assets due to a bug?

Can you tell me what the rule G2.9 is in your own words, and why we have this in place?
 
The g2.9 rule stops you from transferring items from one character slot to another, you have this in place to allow every roleplay character to have a fair start and a realistic start, if this were to happen to me again I would clip it and open a compensation request to get my money back, I wasn't really thinking straight when this happened I was too frustrated as I had been doing jobs all day to get to that money.

While you provided a very short reply, you acknowledged the rule and the correct procedure with a compensation request should something similar happen again.
I would however, appreciate some more effort in your next replies.

What should you do, if you become frustrated again if something happens in game, or a potential rule has been broken against you?

Due to the circumstances, a full wipe of assets, and the deletion of all but one character will be issued. Would you agree to this?
 
Hi,

My apologies for the lack of effort in my replies, If i were to become frustrated again I would either send a message through ooc and wait for a reply then proceed with the instructions given to me, for example if something with a money bug happens again I'd get told to open a compensation request, and if a rule has been broken against me I would contact staff.

This would not be the correct way to go about it - you should either try to liaise with the player in Discord/ Team Speak first, or go via the report a player section. HERE: https://wiki.roleplay.co.uk/Guide:Report_a_Player


As you will get to keep one character, with all the assets wiped (Money, Vehicles, Items and so on), which would you want to keep? Choose one.

What will be your plan - the RP story for this character going forward?
 
I will start my story off as a mechanic who works as a taxi driver on the side to build my money up then enter the car business, buying and reselling cars and having my own dealership
 
That seems a very linear approach and reasonable.
Let's say it doesn't work out, what then?
What's your characters back story?

Give me something in a little more detail please.
 
If my goals don't work out then I'd probably stick to the mechanic job and offer a mobile mechanic service where I am able to be called out by players or answer dispatches and come to help them out for a fee.

Edward Barnaby is a man who was raised by a single mother, in love with cars growing up, but due to financial issues he never really got to experience luxury cars, upon coming to the city Edward is determined to do whatever he can to experience what he missed out on as a child and be able to drive luxury cars. His ultimate goal was to own a car dealership, a place where he could show his love for cars . But Edward knew that success wouldn’t come overnight. He was prepared to grind, to put in the hours, and to make smart moves. If the dealership didn’t work out, Edward has a backup plan to create a mobile mechanic service, offering quick and affordable help to those stranded on the road.
