Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for G2.6 which is excessive use of OOC chat which i done when in a situation against police a couple weeks ago.
Why should we unban you: When i was banned i opened a ticket the morning after which is #Closed-25296

there is more of an explanation in there and a video i provided of roughly 8 minutes footage leading up to my ban.

The whole situation was a bit of a shit show as you can tell, i play with OOC chat off and have always preferred it that way
but when i knew the situation was going on and shooting police, tends to usually end up in ooc chat, i turn it on and see a comment

"your pathetic" or "that rp was pathetic" i cant mind actually which one but it was one of the 2, and i just respond "keep crying"
Yes my comment wasn't needed and was a bit "toxic" back to him and 2 wrongs dont make a right.

I turn ooc chat off again and just want to continue with the roleplay going on without the craziness of ooc chat, in that time
my kid etc wakes up and as you can tell in the video i talk with my wife etc and i am very "distracted" @dano mentions me in ooc chat saying by all means leave, or leave if you want to.
at the time i didn't really see it correctly and read it as "you need to leave" and that confused me for a lil bit and the only way i seen his message was when he @'d me (because when you have ooc chat off you wont see it, unless you receive an @ your ID )

During all this situation Mark puts out a message saying "anymore bans and kicks will be given out" i never saw that warning, if i did see it at the time i wouldn't of wrote in ooc chat afterwards. (as when a staff member puts out a red message it isn't seen with OOC chat off, if it was a staff announcement it would show)

I responded to another officer who was asking about who was shooting etc and i just responded a message along the lines of the situation and "you turn up to that situation of what's going on the same kind of thing is going to happen" and i am happy to QE afterwards.

I said i believed the ban was unjustified and was a bit unfair which is a comment ill stick by yes, now am i saying "its your fault and not mine" and just diverting blame to me having no ooc chat on or whatever no, i am not. Yes i should have the "common sense" to know when i am typing to much etc in ooc chat

I can understand why it happened, you are just trying to "clean up" a shit situation that was going on and can agree that its only necessary to clear that up, if i was kicked / banned for a day or whatever i wouldn't of bothered thinking it was unfair or whatever, but i guess it was down to my past and the FBS which is why its a perma.

and was hoping that the ticket would of cleared everything up and see right to it and not have to go through an unban appeal as i just couldn't of been bothered with the constant backs and forth of you done this x amount of time ago and said this and have the back and forth with another staff member, not only taking up my time but yours also which isn't needed really as we can agree we have better things to be doing

Hello @Danoo pal, could be better could be worse, that is life, hope all is well with yourself.

So the comment can be taken in anyway, of course now that it is being raised here, clearly it was taken in a "wrong way" or in a way that comes across as maybe offensive to the staff team?

But that was not the reasoning behind it.

Now let me "ramble" in some sense but hopefully you read, that report could've gone anyway IMO, it was borderline, yes i had reasons to shoot, but was it a bit early? was it a bit excessive? Was i wrong in "taking it further", on to the part where i say "fed main" Yes, I believe a staff member who maybe mains police would see it in a way that it is RDM, i strongly believe that, we are all people and what you know is what you know, the same way for example if i was a staff member and i saw reports on gangs, i would see it stronger from a "gang perspective" than the other perspective, am i saying it is wrong ? No, its only human its not bias, its just what you know more of.

Was the comment needed? No of course not, but i was hoping a person who isn't really either in RP to take it and they would have a maybe different perspective and out look of it, and that happened,
i felt like writing underneath it could a "neutral person" take this, but as i writing that i thought, fuck me it comes across as cuntish to even "ask that"

Now as i write, you could question more am i saying "FED V CRIM" THIS SIDE THAT SIDE, no i am not talking about staff members being on this side and that side, i am just generally talking about what they do more in game and have a more of a understanding to, i am not trying to come across as a prick or a cunt and if unban appeals came in a way of via voice, id pass 10/10 as i could explain so much more than the way i write, i struggle with this as i have said in the past, i am not the greatest of writers, thank god this website has a built in right click spell check (maybe that's my browser idk) or we were all screwed.

Now of course any staff member has any right to take whatever report they wish or unban they wish i am not saying they don't or shouldn't but that's what i generally meant by that.

It wasn't to come across a prick or a cunt, or a "sly dig", I can see from your perspective that what way it seems but it wasn't, i just write what i think and at times its taken the wrong way but i generally don't mean it that way

Hello @Father , thanks for the response, and indeed you did "ramble" !

You've already answered my next question and have stated that the comment was not needed. You can essentially look at that now and just see the potential drama it can entice, reports are done publicly, the entirety of the community and staff team can view these.
It wouldn't matter if a "fed main" closed the report off or if I closed the report off for example, it would be viewed by everyone regardless and would be the same outcome.

In regards to the OOC misuse, you've been here a lot longer than I have and are fully aware at this point what OOC chat is used for.
You're now on 1 ban and 4 warnings, how many more times do we need to go through G2.6 with you? It's probably one of the easiest things NOT to get in trouble for.

Hey @Danoo I do tend to ramble on quite a bit sometimes.

in terms of the G2.6, yes i have found myself in bother a few times for that and i can only apologize the first time i was banned for it was 100% permitted and deserved for what i done back then.
This time around of course i did breach the rule of G2.6 , but i felt like i didn't and will "stand by what i said in terms of i felt like it wasn't ban worthy" but i got banned for it and a ban is a ban that you have to stand by.

In terms of G2.6 , i type and text in a weird way, if you text me like
"hey what you up to"
my response is usually in like 2/3 messages like -
"Hey"
"Nothing much *insert fake scenario of what I'm doing*
"what you been up to?"

and when it has came to typing in OOC chat, i tend to just hit enter sometimes and then another part of a message, its a big what would you say "flaw" of mine? and i recognize that i should just put a full message in there and not need to type more than i need.

and thank you with the not being able to respond instantly, even this reply , isn't being a "read over to make sure what i said was ok" i am just typing what i think and i tend to do that anyway.

The past couple of weeks has been life changing for me and my family and the stuff that went on has changed me completely, i don't want to go into to much as i am a bit of a person who likes to be a bit secretive about my IRL stuff but its just changed a lot of the way i look at things, i know it comes across as a bit "cliché" the way people say it , but it was a big thing that happened and is still happening.

I can only apologize for what i have said and done, i have never had the greatest of records when it comes to "what i say", as i am a bit "blunt" and outspoken at times and may not always be understood with the way i try and come across.

I have been here for a long time and should know better, i agree with that yes.

If you have any conditions you want to give to me, ill agree to them, if it comes to getting unbanned if i even step out of line slightly you can even ban me there and give me a 12month cooldown.

Ill be real i just want to log on and enjoy myself and hopefully make others enjoy their time too, for a while my RP has been a bit meh and lacklustre to what i used to be and i just want to get back to the way i was enjoying myself and having a laugh with others, that is all.
