Reason given for your ban: Exploiting C2.2

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for C2.2 (Exploiting), I was on Mt.Hann selling drugs, I seen a Police cruiser coming down whilst I was in an animation selling, the vehicle hits me on my screen, during the time of selling which Im led to believe is Desync, to me this was a relitavley stressful situation as I dont have good interactions with police usually. My intetion was not to exploit here I just mashed my keyboard trying to get back on my bike, I had no knowledge that I can skip the animation by opening a trunk, this was not my intention.

To begin with when I noticed I have been banned I didn't even know there was a report placed against me, I was not contacted in OOC nor via any other method I had no idea there was even a report up, I feel like I didn’t even have a chance to defend myself or try to resolve the situation as I wasn’t notified anywhere about it, and it was closed quickly just after 5 hours. After reading the report there were information that was wrong. I am not a whitelisted member of a group.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be unbanned as this is my very first ban I have ever recieved on the server, I have put in a lot of time and effort into this server therefore I wouldn't geaprodise my position in it for a simple exploit.
In future to prevent any kind of rule breaks I would try to keep calm as it's only a game and allow the roleplay to carry out regardless of the outcome.

I just panicked and if I had another chance I would even the playing field, I would immediately jump back off, which is something I wish I did this time but I failed to do so, I am very sorry for what I have done, I generally didn’t mean to cancel the animation, I tried to partially fix my actions by then slowing down back down the mountain and speaking to the officer but I know that probably wasn’t enough.

(C2.2) Exploiting - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future.

This rule was put in place to stop anyone within the community from providing themselves with an unfair advantage, such as exploited money, items, or any other measure of disadvantaging another player, just like in my case opening the boot to be granted the ability to immediately drive off from the other party. 

 
Okay, it is unfortunate that you feel you didn’t have a chance to defend yourself, however the rule break was blatant and you would most likley have ended up here regardless.

If this was an honest mistake how come you didnt do anything to try and mitigate your exploit and decided to take advantage of it instead?

 
I was stressed in the situation when on my screen I got hit by the car causing me to mash my keyboard, during this time I thought to myself that I messed up when I started to drive off, I realised my mistake there and then, that's why in the clip I chose to just circle back to the area and slow down to communicate with the officer, the guy that pointed the shotgun was on his way before the officer came down, , thinking that stopping and proceeding some form of roleplay would be some kind of redemption however looking back on it, it wasn’t dealt with properly, I wish I just didn't panic and got off the bike the minute I got on and proceeded the situation from that point @L1L

Are you aware that bans of this nature come with a full character wipe if we were to unban you? That´s quite a dire consequence for something so silly... Don´t you think this could have been easily avoided/rectified by yourself? 

 
Yes I believe this could have been easily avoided if I just proceeded to notice my error sooner than I did, and approached it with a better solution than just slowing down and speaking to the officer and then further escalating the situation.

I was not aware that these type of bans come with a full character wipe wether this happens or not I am still being reflective of my actions and intend to ensure I never make a mistake like this ever again. As you can see in my history this is my first ban I’ve received committed a discrepancy towards the rules and I don’t intend to do it again, as I am dedicated and involved within this community to bring forward roleplay within my gang to all member of community to experience. 

like I’ve stated in my appeal, I didn’t do this intentionally to negatively impact the rp, it was an honest mistake and I have regretted not acting on it the minute it happend, I’ve taken the time away from roleplay to assess how I could’ve handled that situation better and one will never happen again, it would be easily be rectified in that moment and time which I wish I did in this situation

Now this is where things get interesting. You mention history so I looked at your history. To find that you have skipped the selling animation before and was given a golden chance by the admin that dealt with you and only gave you a warning. So this isn't the first time you have done this. Notes on the warning stated you understood the rule. Yet you "accidentally" broke it here yet you didn't correct it despite your previous warning. Why is that? For me someone who broke the rule before would now if they "mistakenly" cancelled the emote again knowing what would happen I'd be apologising to the person immediately and "losing" the roleplay scenario no matter what to correct my mistake to apologise for my rule break.

This was a genuine mistake unlike the the first warning I received hence why I tried to rectify the situation by pulling over and proceeding to roleplay the situation further however it didn’t justify what I did wrong and wasn’t enough at the time. Being away from the community for 3 weeks gave me time to think how I could have handled the situation better and have definitely learned that I could have done better. This would never happen again, as I understand C2.2 and why it’s in place to give everyone a fair chance of playing at an even ground and a good rp session for everyone involved.

You will get to keep 1 of your characters, which will be completely wiped off everything, except phone numbers and rp background. Your other 3 characters will be permanently deleted. Which one would you like to keep?
