I must say. You would be in a position to make this guy look very stupid if you showed him the evidence. Its almost perfectly setup for you to shut him down completly. Im starting to wonder myself if there is evidence other than a staff members account of what he heard?
Firstly you should not be commenting on Ban Appeals. It's a breach of the rules -
(C5.4) Commenting on a ban appeal or report a player thread that is not involving you
You will probably receive further punishment (above and beyond your own current ban elsewhere), for that breach.
I will explain this much, however.
There is a video of the accused making two verbal racist remarks, which was recorded by a staff-member who observed and recorded it first hand. This staff member was a Level 1, so the ban was actually placed by a staff-member with higher access (Nuclear) on the basis of the initial evidence video (which was viewed by a small number of staff even before the ban was pushed). It was reviewed for the rest of that day by the staff team at various levels because it was available to them to view. The overall consensus (bar one) was that the words used were deliberate, and definitely racist.
The one dissenting staff view that what was said might have been 'neek' was extensively checked and double-checked all the way up to staff leads. They were comfortable that the racism was clear, and that the phoneme at the end was 'g' not 'k'. The fact that the words were said immediately after another player in the location (who has also been banned) clearly said the full n-word, lends support to the idea that only an utter fool would say 'neek' at
that time, and expect for it not to get noticed and dealt with as severely as the shortened form of the racist attack. In any case, we will interpret the use of any of those words in context, and anyone thinking they can use words like 'neek' to cover a racist attack, had better think again. We will **
always** act to protect the community, and we will **
always** act to remove such abusers and trolls, if their intention is to cause offence and issues in this way. If you fly too close to the sun, you will burn horribly.
Since this ban appeal has developed further into an accusation against staff conduct and our policies, it has now been studied further by Management Team members, and we are again perfectly satisfied with the fact that the original ban for racism was sound, and that the perpetrator has no defence.
It is not our policy to republish videos that clearly show racism - it would be against the law, if nothing else, and make us liable ourselves. We can, however, pass them over to the police, if we feel compelled to do so. But we do not have a policy of republishing racist remarks here, and never will, so you will just have to accept that we have gone to great lengths to be as fair and diligent as possible in the course of assessing this ban, and live with the outcome.
Of course, if you do not wish to believe us, that is your prerogative. You are welcome to find alternative servers to play on, where this sort of conduct is tolerated, or where racism is routinely republished by people unaware of the risks. However, we will not tolerate further attempts to defame our staff or undermine our policies, and we will interpret such as actions intended to cause drama for the sake of it, and offenders will be banned under rule C1.6 if they persist.

Or there is none at all as I did not do it. They want to make people submit so it's fast and easy and they have an easy job, but when someone asks for evidence they say we are not showing you and you're getting banned.
This is nonsense. You have wasted a considerable amount of my time, and several other Management Team members' time, and that of the Staff Leads. This is probably exactly what you intended, of course, and we're well aware of that.

I am satisfied that your ban is sound, and that it should be upheld.
If you continue to cause issues and drama, or defame the reputation of the staff team, or this server/community and its policies, you will be permanently removed from it.
I strongly suggest that you accept you did wrong, and behave yourself.
