Unban Appeal for ElJeffe

In-game Name: Joseph Moore

Server: GTA RP

Steam ID: 76561198954938741

Ban ID: !!rpuk14866!!

Reason given for your ban: G9.5 & C1.7

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: In your own words, please type why you think you were banned: I was banned for 2 reasons. In regards to G 9.5, I willingly gave away 1x Fire Axe, 1x Radio and 1x Smartphone to fellow members of my group. I cannot remember who I gave the axe to but the Radio and Smartphone were handed to 2 fellow group members I am a part of that were in hospital after being mugged and attacked during a war. I willingly gave the equipment in that scenario so they could get in contact with people to assure them of their safety. I understand this was a breach of the NHS Server Rules and apologise for that. I now understand that by giving the fire axe from the armoury I was giving someone a weapon bypassing its standard economic value.
I also regularly sent messages daily in the group chat stating I would be available at Pillbox or on duty patrolling should they need to receive medical aid and that I would be willing to treat them in either regard. I understand how this can be seen as solely helping a group and as a breach to G 9.5, I apologise if it seems that way however that was never my intent. I openly told any patient I went to that they were more than welcome to take down my phone number and give me a call/text if they ever needed medical assistance. I never wanted it to be seen as favouritism as I treated everyone similarly and regularly attended calls before going to those who sent messages requesting medical aid.
In regards to C 1.7, I apologise for my lack of roleplay. I understand that it is a paramedic’s job to initiate and provide roleplay in any scenario to injured persons. I did enjoy engaging in roleplay situations with patients but in the week leading up to my ban I did begin to lack in initiating/continuing roleplay. This is mainly due to my own fault of being discontent with how situations were going where I would show up and initiate roleplay only to be met with people not being interested and only wanting to have injuries treated/be revived.I know this is no excuse and I should take the initiative when representing a whitelisted role such as NHS, I started to form a mentality where I would prioritise the system to suit the player base of the community. I understand that I shouldn’t have started doing this as it started to become a repetitive habit, as a Specialist Paramedic in NHS I should be expected to lead by a example and inspire others members who wish to play as NHS to do as I would and if the injured person was non-cooperative then i should issue a DNR as specified by NHS Command.
Sadly this is always thought about in hindsight and I wish I reflected on my actions sooner.

Why should we unban you ?: Despite my actions regarding C 1.7, I have been a part of quality roleplay scenarios. Including multiple surgical settings within Pillbox where I spent considerable time dealing with injured persons performing multiple different medical scenarios. I have also been a part of multiple different resuscitations providing what I would hope is enjoyable roleplay to those who have been dumped and left for dead.
I understand that I have made considerable mistakes mentioned above and when confronted I was honest and gave my view of the situations to the staff member and NHS Command members involved. I understand if I came across as argumentative however I did not mean it in that sense, only wishing to put forward my perspective in the matters.
I have gone through the rules and I understand where I have messed up, although I may have been ignorant, bent and broken rules, I have taken time to re-read the rules to understand my ban and clarify on any questions or misunderstandings I had regarding why I was banned.
I would like another chance to continue my story as Joseph. I have gone through a fair amount of development with him and I would love a chance to continue seeing where the path goes with or without a job at the NHS.
After talking with Staff and NHS Command, I understand how my actions have come to affect roleplay situations and how it reflects on others. I understand that no matter how much of a mentality I formed, it was never an excuse to ignore the community and roleplay scenarios presented to me, for that I apologise.
Should I be allowed to join the server again, I would like to progress my roleplay with Joseph and eventually scale up to provide more roleplay chances to the community possibly through looking to organise small scale events at first. I do understand that some people are not interested as much in the roleplay but the majority of the player base is here for the roleplay and I would like a chance to partake in being a member of events and looking to host a few down in time.

Please confirm that you have read the unban appeal process and rules: Yes

Good evening @ElJeffe, I hope all is well aside from this current ban! 🙂

After confirmation I'm now aware that upon joining the NHS it is made clear to you that handing out equipment willingly and helping friends is a breach of server rules.
I'm sure after being given this briefing, it would be fresh in your mind that you cannot do what you've done. This leaves me extremely confused as to why you'd go ahead and do this regardless?

Good Afternoon @Danoo I hope all is well for you too.

I was aware yes and had been apart of the NHS for roughly a month prior to joining the group. It was not my intent originally to join the group and distribute equipment freely instead it was more of a error in my own judgement to hand out a fire axe on my first day while trying to prove myself to the group. I understand that my actions were poor on that day and I shouldn't have handed out the fire axe to a member of the group, for that I apologise as I should have known better being in the NHS for just over a month at that time.

As for the other equipment, it was merely in the moment that I decided to give out 1x Radio and 1x Smartphone so that they could contact the group in order to alert them on their conditions and didn't think too deeply regarding giving out equipment as the smartphone and radio seemed very minor but I understand nonetheless that it still breaks the rules. I own up to the fact that I went through with this decisions and did neglect the briefing I was given when I first joined NHS.

It was never my intent to join the NHS and start handing out equipment without care. My intentions were to join the NHS and provide assistance to anybody in need across the city not prioritising or solely helping those I befriended.

Thank you for taking the time to respond and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

Good evening, @ElJeffe! Thank you for the response.

As well as handing out equipment, you were also seen hanging around said group, helping them whilst downed with minimal roleplay.
You had been prioritizing your friends in terms of NHS treatment, was this a frequent thing that you had been doing?

Evening @Danoo! Thank you for the quick response mate.

I frequented around the group while off duty yes, and when on duty I would put a message in the group chat explaining that at any time they are free to come to Pillbox should they have injuries requiring professional (on duty NHS members help). I will admit to that. In regards to priortising them however I would say that I wouldn't push patients away for them and I would inform them that they may have to wait if I am dealing with other calls/patients.

I understand how it may look me advertising to them to come and see me at Pillbox as breaking G9.5 however that was not my intent as across the city I made it known to people that they could call me if they required help with serious injuries (such as being shot or high speed collisions). I never meant to priortise the group and I will apologise for that as I understand how it may be viewed by the staff and other players but I would offer everyone similar responses if they were hurt and go to whoever needed help the most.

As for minimal RP, I will admit I did begin to lack RP as a whole with NHS and that is inexcusable I understand given that they are meant to be a roleplay heavy faction however I wanted to continue helping everyone and go to calls to help people which I know is wrong. I started to lack RP after seeing similar interactions back from people which I discussed with Stuart prior to being Permanently banned and being removed from the NHS. These interactions helped form a mindset of prioritising people who wanted to get back up and continue without having to wait and after discussing the issue with CMO Mike I understand that I should have prevented this sort of behaviour and pushed to make roleplay scenarios.

I never wished to priortise anyone and would openly help everyone in the city if they called me or made dispatches.

Thank you for spending your time replying to my appeal!

Good evening @ElJeffe, thanks for the response!

The lack of RP is concerning, considering you were in a whitelisted faction as should know better.
Imagine a new player joins the server for the first time, and sees minimal RP from what is considered a heavy faction within the server, it's only going to set a poor standard for them moving forward and likely leave them not interested in continuing here if they're around for serious roleplay.

As already mentioned, if you are to receive an unban, you'll get a 3 month blacklist from joining factions.
If you were to be successful, what is your plan now on the server?

Good evening @Danoo, I appreciate the response!

There is no argument I can make to defend myself in the situation regarding my poor RP, I acknowledge how this may have look towards newer players and it does show not only myself but the NHS as a faction poorly, which I never wanted. I understand how this mentality affects those who are interesting in being apart of serious roleplay and discourages them from continuing.

Regarding if my appeal is accepted, I would like to progress in two ways:

In regards to my roleplay with the group I am with, I will more than likely look to continue taking part in more roleplay scenarios with the group I am apart of such as events and other small scenarios or group activities that may be arranged. I would also like to get involved more helping give ideas for possible scenarios that could be brought up and discussed leading to what I would hope to be enjoyable experiences for all involved.

In respect on my own, I would like the chance to spend my 3 months blacklist as someone who still is interested in exploring the city and lending a hand to those who need it on his journey. I would like to still take part in some scenarios where medical knowledge is required such as being there to help when paramedics are unavailable or at other calls, being the person to provide first aid. Along with this, I would like to explore new avenues such as possibly turning towards other jobs looking to work at one of the many drinking locations around the city or looking into starting some basics in mechanics learning the ropes until possibly working in one of the few shops around the city.

In either of the scenarios, I would like to branch out more than just the NHS and see what new skills I can learn as Joey and provide to the city while improving my roleplay and getting away from the mindset I was moving towards during my final weeks of the NHS.

I appreciate the fast response and hope you have a wonderful evening.

Good afternoon, @ElJeffe

I am inclined to give you another chance here on the server, although it appears that the NHS hasn't worked out too well for you.
Please learn from your mistakes, have a look over the rules before you reconnect as we don't want to have you end up back here again!

To make the conditions clear:
