Why do you think you were banned: I was banned because of the use of metagaming.
Why should we unban you: Been a couple of months since my ban has occurred. Over these past couple of months of not playing the game I've reflected upon how my actions could've occurred, but my stance and my other member's stance all still remain the same, we can't pinpoint an exact scenario that would've resulted in a ban. This isn't me disputing the fact that we've metagamed but we just can't seem to put the pieces of the puzzle together. There is reasons however that could've caused the metagaming to happen. As mentioned by other members, we do often sit in discord calls together due to us being friends IRL, and not all of us actually play the server. This isn't a rule break in itself but it can lead to a slippery slope, as sometimes its natural instinct to say something that's just happened. 99% of the time we go on deafened whilst in a scenario or if something does slip out in the discord, we don't use it to benefit ourselves until it has been said/text in the game. We've all decided, if we get back onto the server that no discord would be used whilst active on the game, as we all agree its safer towards our roleplaying experience.
The reason I've appealed is because I enjoyed this server a lot, especially roleplaying between the different characters of Vito Chippieone and Graeme Kidd, two very different personalities in themselves. In Vito, i enjoyed the pressure and control of leading a gang from being unknown around the city to pretty well known to a lot of people, i thought that nearer the time of the ban I thought the gang was further developing in a different way and we were trying new things like mining and making the gang a bigger force within the city. I loved the interactions with people I'd get with Vito as they'd be classified and secret, especially trying to mimic a mafia-like gang. With Graeme it was a totally different concept, it would be a lot less serious as he was a Hobo starting out on the streets trying to find his way of living. With Graeme, I'd make a lot of friends but also a lot of enemies around the city, that was the fun of it though, experiencing a different side to the city as someone else. With Graeme, I was lucky enough to get myself into Grove and that was the first time i had joined a whitelisted gang.
Apart from all that, the experience of roleplaying on this server is exciting and it's always something different when you get into the city that's what makes it so thrilling to keep coming back to.
