In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I understand that I violated the C2.3 rule and fully understand that dying and not continuing with the death can lead to other people missing out on RP activities and griefs the other players experience. For this I am sorry.
Why should we unban you ?: For the complete explanation of the ban occurring there were a series of events that led up to the moment of violating C2.3 rule.

Backstory;
My friend and are first time RP players that came across GTARP through watching entertaining GTARP YouTube videos produced by Summit1G and therefore really thought this playstyle was worth trying out. I was slowly grinding/acquiring money via a Mechanics Job as well as fulfilling player job requests: delivering vehicles and car shipments. My friend came across a ridiculously large amount of weed (3000) on the floor as he described “In a box”, he generously gave me 1000 as we were starting our journey of GTARP together on Roleplay.co.uk. I had managed to sell a 300~ and spent this money by interacting with other players acquiring cars from car dealerships, customising the car and began making connections with “Estate Agents” that sourced available properties.
As I was solo-Ing this journey and gaining all these new experiences on my own (as my friend had limited free time to play due to it getting so close to the holidays), I was going to pass on all my gained knowledge as repayment for the 1000 weed he gave me.
I quickly noticed significant repetition of acquiring money and was on a pursuit of discovering different RP ways of earning money. Examples that my friend and I had seen were robbing a shop, manufacturing drugs and selling wholesale to distributors, starting our own GTARP business and ‘boosting’/stealing cars. So this was the new objective, learn different to make money which leads up to the first event.
Event 1: Took place shortly before the breach of C2.3 rule.
I noticed whilst driving around the city that a pharmacy shop seemed to be getting robbed by a gang of 8-10 people and there were limited police officers at the scene (approx. 1 or 2). Shortly after I had arrived in my car and got out, the police had the left the scene as they were significantly outnumbered and unable to control the situation. Criminals began jumping onto the police car and the officer shortly fled. The gang returned to the pharmacy, as I observed from afar on a bike in the car park interested in what was happening so I could learn to do it with my friends when they returned after the holidays. Trying to complete my objective of learning more fun ways of earning money.
The gang was then picked up in two sea rescue SUV’s (I think…) and I followed in my car as I wanted to ask the gang what/how they managed to do what they did. The pursuit was short lived as the gang arrived at the hospital where shortly after arriving a shootout took place between a police officer in a Santa uniform and mask and the gang. As the officer open fire on the group. I put my hands up to signal that I was not a threat to the officer and avoid getting shot. Unfortunately, the officer got over run and was stabbed becoming critically wounded and ended up on the floor.
One of the gang members then recognised that I was not apart of their group and approached me, I still had my hands up at this point. I was communicating using voice chat saying something along the lines of “I’m not a threat” and “I’m just a passer-by”. It was at this point the gang member said “Give me that Zip-tie” which alerted me that the gang member could see my inventory (I did not know that this could be done by other people other than police officers) and the remaining 600 weed that I had on me! I freaked out and ran for my life out of the hospital and was pursued by 2 gang members on foot, I thought I could evade the gang on foot as they only had melee weapons. They followed me out of the hospital, I tried my best to out-run them all whilst being pathetic and begging for my life using “voice proximity chat”. But unfortunately, the gang members eventually caught up to me and killed me the second they got up to me when I ran out of stamina. I thought nothing of it as even though I ran out of stamina and clearly could not get away, instantly killing me was potentially justified as I had not complied with their initial requests before the chase began.
I died and realised I had stupidly lost the 600 weed and other melee weapons I had just purchased before this all took place. I then waited the full 15 minutes less than 100m away from the hospital, as I didn’t manage to run very far. I figured that If no one could get to me in 15 minutes less than 100 meters away then I had no choice but to respawn.
Event 2: This is where the violation occurred.
I respawned in a hospital gown at sandy shores and wanted to get back to the city to check if anything was left behind or if people were still at the hospital after the encounter that had just taken place.
I understand this technically breaches rule G4.1 but as I was completely new to GTARP my main thought was completing my established objective of learning the in-game mechanics and RP methods of earning money, by asking remaining players about what had just occurred.
I returned to the hospital and there was no one there. I then travelled to the police to station to ask officers about what just happened as I knew that there was at least a one officer on duty at the time this all took place.
I arrived at the police station, walked up the steps to the main entrance where I saw figures of people in the reception area, and I approached thinking/hoping that this was someone I could talk to learn more about GTARP and Roleplay.co.uk. Only after getting within a few steps of the door did, I realise that these people lingering in the police station entrance where gang members/criminals that had weapons in their hand prior to my arrival.
These did not appear to be the same gang members in Event 1 as they were all wearing different clothing and I could not recognise any of them.
The gang members then approached me with their weapons and told me to “put my hands up”, I tried to explain that I had nothing on my person as I had just died and just wanted to talk. I realise whilst typing this that it I am not RP'ing successfully at this point in time but I’m just trying to learn and have not fully become accustom to RP gameplay. Anyway, before I could explain anything one gang members said “I’m counting down and If don’t put your hands up I’m going to kill you… 5,4,3,2,1”. Whilst all this was happening, being surrounded and swarmed 3 gang members and just trying to explain my intentions I realised that my proximity chat was set to “Whisper” at this point and not “Normal”. So whilst I’m to remedy this, the gang member was already at “3” in his countdown and considering the rapid progression and escalation of this encounter / the fact that they were at the police station, with weapons out and threatening to kill me”. I realised there was nothing to resolve this situation and became fed up. One gang member stabbed me with knife outside of the police station so again I just tried to flee as I had nothing me still. I managed to run to a nearby car park and get into a vehicle where a gang member successfully managed to get into it as well.
Upon getting into the vehicle the gang member said “I’ve got a knife to your throat stop or I’ll kill you”. At this point I became unhinged and had nothing to lose after just respawning from the previous encounter and said to the guy “I have nothing. You are wasting your time. I just wanted to ask questions.”. He began to radio to his other gang members our position/roads we were on for his friends to re-join the pursuit.
I could not believe that all of this happened at a police station, weapons already drawn, intent already decided (on killing me) and a countdown began before I could even complete 1 sentence and remedy the “Whisper” proximity voice kerfuffle. Especially when even during the loading screen of Roleplay.co.uk the voiceover goes over this exact scenario and discourages it.
I can’t remember exactly what was said by the gang member in the car at this point but me being furious at the situation and unhinged at losing nothing I decided to drive the car off a nearby ramp in hopes of ejecting the criminal out of the vehicle if he had forgot to put on his seatbelt.
I jumped the ramp, the car flipped, I got out and was immediately killed by the gang member in the car with me.
I saw in the bottom left of the screen it indicated “Smartphone -1” or something similar, so I assume the gang member was ‘looting me’. I waited 30 seconds or before doing/saying anything. I was still processing that all this had just taken place and was trying to quickly analyse if I could have done something different. When the gang member said “It didn’t have to go down this way” in a derogative tone. Given how all of this happened from the encounter beginning at the police station, weapons already drawn, and their intent made very clear from the start. I could comprehend the hypocrisy of what this person just said. It caused me ‘Rage quit’ where I would’ve otherwise stayed, as I displayed in Event 1, after losing 600 weed. I did not prevent the player from looting me as he had the opportunity to loot the smartphone and time elapsed after this had happened.
In combination of dying in Event 1, not being retrieved by paramedics in 15 minutes less than 100m from the hospital and the ridiculous encounter in Event 2. This is where I then ‘Rage quit’ and left. As I did not want to even provide the opportunity for the gang members in Event 2 to talk to me further and I didn’t want to escalate a situation by confronting them verbally.
At worst I prevented the gang from looting £20k worth of assets on me as I withdrew £20,000 to purchase healing kits, smartphone, food, water and other supplies after dying in Event 1. I understand now that even this is unacceptable, and I should’ve just waited out the duration of the death timer.
I’ll admit that I didn’t fully comprehend all the rules of Roleplay.co.uk. I am still learning GTARP as it is a whole new concept for me to adapt to. Perhaps I should’ve joined a different/less RP Intense server to get my bearings and learn all of this before then joining Roleplay.co.uk where RP standards are much higher. I understand that this whole essay doesn’t portray me as a decent RP player at all… again I’m just trying to learn. It was just eating away at me that this permanent ban has occurred without me saying my side of the story.
I would be extremely grateful if after reading this I’ve compelled yourself to unban me. If not, I understand that breaking rule C2.3 is a significant aggrievance. I apologise for this and have no ill will should you decide to maintain the permanent ban.
