Unban Appeal for Dezi

Reason given for your ban: C1.7, C2.3 & G4.4 (I understand it's completely my fault, I was being a dick)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because I was being immature and I shouldn't have said/done what I did.

Why should we unban you ?: I feel like I should be unbanned because I didn't properly get into the server and it seems like a great community. The admin that I was talking to was a calm lad and I was just taking the piss and being immature. If I was to be unbanned I would make sure not to do this again, also if i was to get unbanned i would read the rules and make sure to follow the rules set in place at all times to prevent getting banned again. It's been a long time since I was banned so I'm hoping you can give me a second chance to prove that I'm not immature. Sorry for ruining the roleplay of the LostMC and being a total dickhead.

This looks like a half assed appeal to me, why should i even entertain this?

Do the following for me:

Explain to me in as much detail as possible the situation that led to your banning and the rulebreaks involved..

 
This happened a while ago so it's hard to remember, explains why the appeal isn't appealing at all. If I remember correctly I ran into some problems with the LostMC at Auto Exotics, they had told me to leave for some reason so I did and then about 5 minutes later they found me down the street and the beef escalated over a few comments I had made, they had then killed me and dumped me on the top floor of a multi story car park. I made some comments that I shouldn't have made towards this group and I am sorry for ruining their experience. To be honest I can admit, I was straight up being a dick but if I can get a second chance i'll make sure I treat everyone respectfully.

A couple days before I had combat logged when I was trying for about 15 minutes to get a bed, but they were full and it was late night about 10-11ish and I had to leave for work the next morning at 6:30am so I decided to go to bed. I wasn't aware I had to alert an Admin to leave the server which if I am able to be unbanned I will make sure to abide by the rules at all time.

Have you ever combat logged before the instance that led to your ban? Honesty is the best policy here..

 
As being a new player trying to make friends, meet new people, I was pissed off because they told me to leave the mechanic shop and then found me again and I got killed so I was really annoyed in the heat of the moment and that's why i said what i said. In all honesty I regret what I said and I am really sorry.

This is the first incident of combat logging. Perhaps if I had read the rules I would've been acknowledged to ask an Admin if I could leave the server while dead, but I hadn't so that is completely my fault. If I wouldn't have included this in the admin sit I wouldn't have got an additional rulebreak for combat logging. I was completely honest with him and told him I combat logged because of the reasons I stated above. He then told me that I can't log off without admin permission.

I admit it is my fault that I got banned. I'm not sure how long I've been banned, I'm pretty sure it's like 5-6 months or something like that but I am really sorry and I would like to have a second chance and prove that I can abide by your server rules.

Why choose to appeal now and not after the initial 1 month cooldown that comes with combat logging appeals? What have you been doing in the mean time?

Not really I guess it was just my first time interacting with this group and then being told to leave for them just find me down the street to just kill me. Wouldn't say it's common, just depends on the moment if you get me.

Also I never knew about a cooldown; I had been working and just didn't have the time to put in an appeal or even play the game, but now I have time off I decided to put an appeal in.

I can assure you the same thing wouldn't happen again. If I was to have a repeat of a similar situation which I wouldn't be intentionally wanting but I would just be quiet and not say anything out of line that could lead me to being banned again.

 
Alright @DeziHeres what I want you to do.

I want you to talk me through how you would handle the same situation that led to your ban differently now in as much detail as possible. I want to see if you are actually capable of keeping roleplay within roleplay and not "rage quitting" or getting "salty"...

 
I had never raged quit; I was salty though. 

The only way you’re gonna see me being capable of keeping roleplay within roleplay is me being in the server. This is OOC so it’s clearly impossible for me to prove it. Actions speak louder than words. 
 

All I’m gonna say is if there happened to be a situation like this again I would remain calm in roleplay and if I was to get salty I would not bring it into the city and ruin the immersion of other players, I will treat people how they treat me but I’ll always be respectful and kind.

You see it is fine to be somewhat salty IN CHARACTER, as long as it is YOUR CHARACTER speaking and it is kept WITHIN roleplay, you were not banned for the the things your character said, you were banned for your OOC chat messages not roleplaying your injuries and overall just not roleplaying.. You were also lauging during the staff sit, It doesnt seem like you took it seriously then when you were getting banned, what has changed? Why do you want to come back?

I admitted what I said was out of line and I shouldn't have said what I said to them in OOC, I should have kept it to myself. I want to be unbanned to be able to explore what the server has to offer, I didn't properly get to figure it out because I was stupid and got myself banned which I'm sorry about. If I was to get unbanned I can assure you I will not have a repeat of my first time round. Everyone deserves second chances and if you was to give me that chance I can promise I wont make you regret it.

Alright, if you are given another chance to roleplay on the server I want you to answer me the following about your character 

  • Tell me about your characters backstory
  • Tell me the long terms goals and plans for your characters story going forward, what are their dreams/ambitions?
 
My characters backstory is: 

Dezi Archer was brought up in the streets of London who loved playing football, he was so close to making it until he suffered with a fatal leg injury. Months down the line he recovered from the injury and decided to go for a kick about with his mates and couldn’t play football the same way he did, he realised that his childhood dream of becoming a professional footballer was out the window. Dezi started getting up to all kinds of shit, going out every weekend partying and getting hooked on cocaine. Dezi started chilling with people in gangs and was put on for selling drugs. 
 

The goal for this character & ambitions are for Dezi to either join a gang, maybe become a kingpin for drug dealing or even go down the legal route, who knows what the future holds for this character. Looks like we will just have to see what happens in roleplay.

G4.4 - When you're incapacitated you must roleplay injured, this is in place so there is immersion to someone being injured.

C1.7 - Always using common sense so you don't end up being banned like myself.

C2.3 - Combat logging is logging out in an active roleplay scene. I wasn't in a scene or anything I was waiting at the NPC for about 15 minutes to get a bed but I decided to log out without asking an Admin because I had to go to sleep because I had to be up for work the next morning really early. Besides the point I should've just contacted an Admin before logging out. Also this is in place so people can still roleplay with a incapacitated person whether that's dumping or trying to get them to hospital, it's all immersion based.
