In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I believe that I was banned due to my lack of respect and overall toxic manner in which I carried myself near the end of my time within the community primarily towards staff. My overall demeanor was something that would not be permitted in this community, which is understandable because at the end of the day this is an adult and mature community so failing to abide by conveys immaturity and a lack of respect for those around you.
Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be unbanned as this is not the type of person I am, at least not anymore. Undeniably when around the time I was banned and before it I can see that my behavior both in and out of game was toxic, I would actively cause arguments and beef on Tweedle or to people in game and would take part in arguments in public discord such as the RPUK discord and the RPUK courts discord. My intention with these was to make people laugh but it's clear as day to see that regardless of intent I was being immature. I've not been in RPUK for I think nine months now, could possibly be eight but I can't remember my exact ban date. Never the less I still remain in contact with a good number of people from the server and talk to them on a somewhat regular basis. Over the duration of my ban I decided to take a step back from role playing and focus my time into more constructive and beneficial things such as working more and spending time with both family and friends. Taking this well needed break away is what I needed in order to allow myself to mature and grow as a person, rather than spending all my time cooped up with nothing better to do than try and get a reaction from people.
Rather recently I have began to roleplay again from time to time and have found myself enjoying it more than I had initially thought after my break. Despite the fact I have been enjoying getting back into things, the experience just isn't the same as it once was. The amount of familiar faces that are on RPUK is unmatched for me, no matter where I decide to play things won't be the same, I can't drive 2 minutes away from where ever I am chilling out and go and have a laugh and interesting conversation with like minded and interesting people. This just doesn't happen on other servers, everyone keeps to themselves and remain hesitant whenever you try to approach them. These type of experiences are what made me fall in love with RPUK and no matter the person on the receiving end of the conversation whether it be a staff member, veteran player or someone brand new to RP there was never a dull moment. Even in discords its the same, I see people tying in text channels and join in myself and have a laugh which goes to show how character rich the community really is.
Another reason I believe that I should be unbanned is because this whole incident was my first time being actually banned for something that was off my own accord. If you were to look back at my original profiles ban history I would have one ban and I believe one warning. The ban was an exploiting ban that occurred as a result of GTA V's dated and pretty rigid engine. The action in question was a peak in which someone could not see me whilst I could see them and hit them through a wall due to the cover I was behind being on an angle. My warning was by Lunar and I believe Liam whilst they were spectating me, I had been requested to attend a Teamspeak conversation regarding killing a Triad in the Triad vs Ballas war. The Triad in question did not agree with the situation that had went down so myself, them and the two named staff members above talked for roughly about 5 minutes before we cleared up our issues and got on with our days. I in that moment was pissed off as in my mind the fact of going to Teamspeak over an altercation that I didn't believe was severe was a waste of time to me. Due to this feeling of dismay I began to vent in game to which I was greeted with being teleported into the FIB building along with Lunar and Liam where they made me aware that this could be considered metagaming, after our conversation had concluded I was teleported back to my original spot and was given a warning (Or was told it was a warning, possibly a verbal if its not on my record). I take full responsibility for these actions and hold my hands up and accept my wrong doing. Other than these two occasions and of course my community ban being issued I always followed the rules of the server and made sure to always try and be on top of them in everything I myself was doing and that of those around me were doing too. I am mature enough to follow rules and to make sure those around me do too. This along with the fact that my break granted me the ability to clear up my attitude means that if accepted back into the community will be an upstanding member of the community, which will reflect in my behavior as actions do indeed speak a lot louder than words but if not given the opportunity to act on my words then I would not be able to prove myself to the staff team, player base and the management team.
