Reason given for your ban: Rule 2.9 Transferring money between characters

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I got banned for not reading the rules properly and transferring money between my own characters. I've realised this is a massive mistake and i apologies

Why should we unban you ?: I think i should be un banned because i've had a really good first few days in the city meeting good people, I take full responsibility for my actions and for not reading the rules properly. If theirs any chance i can be un banned i'll take the time to read through the rules and make sure i don't do anything wrong again. I've really enjoyed my time on the server so far and finally finding a great RP server. If i get un banned this will be the last time you'll hear from me doing anything wrong. Thanks

You mention you will now read the rules, On the character creation screen there is a link to the rules and a checkbox you must tick to confirm you've read and understood our server rules, So why wasn't this done when you first joined?

In relation to this rule, Would it not be common sense that doing this wouldn't be allowed?

Hello, So why wasn't this done when you first joined?, With most games i play i normally just tick boxes for rules and terms and conditions without reading them through, I've now realised that this server is very strict and i was silly not to read these through before hand. Since my ban i've taken the  time to read through these rules properly just in case i get banned and to make sure nothing happens like this again. I was excited to get started into the game and just wanted to join as fast as possible.

Would it not be common sense that doing this wouldn't be allowed? , Looking back at my actions i was getting sick of getting robbed all the time for money doing Taxis and just thought of it as quick money. I did it three times and got away with it, and then a few days later i was in the middle of doing it again but didn't gain any money from it. I've now realised that it was stupid and making quick and easy money isn't something RP is all about and that i need to just keep working hard in game doing jobs.

How many times did you transfer money between your characters?  In total i gained money from doing it three times gaining around 100k, I then attempted to do it again because i got away with it the first time and that was when the ban came in place and i didn't gain anything the second time.

Appreciate the honesty so far, So lets keep on this path. Whilst some may say the rules are 'strict' They are all common sense as a whole. If you treat playing in game as somewhat real life you won't have any issues for the most part however being caught up on the rules is a plus. 

So the reason you did this was from being robbed and losing money, What happens should we give you another chance and you get robbed again. What would stop you from trying the same thing again? 

Can you please quote the rule that you have been banned for and in your own words explain why you believe we have this rule in place.

 
If i get robbed again i have now learned to just take it on the chin and just move on with life,  I have learned that easy money isn't a thing and i have to work hard for it, Just like real life. The week off the server has made me realise what i did wrong and why it ruins the fun for myself and other people on the server.

The rule i was banned for was, Rule 2.9 Transferring money between characters

I believe you have this rule in place to make it fair for everyone in the community. Also In real life you don't just get given 30K from another person randomly, you have to work for it which i've now learned. This time away from the server has made me realise why all the rules are in place, for a purpose to keep the game fun and realistic for everyone involved, it shouldn't be ruined like the stuff i did to make it unfair.

 
So I've done a bit more digging into this. 

You've mentioned you only did this three times around 100k you tried to gain, However this isn't the full story. Explain to me about the money you took out of your vehicle.

 
Yeah so I would switch between new characters and put money in a vehicle as a safe spot, then go to the same vehicle on my main character and take the whole lot, which was around 100k. I tried doing it a second time which I was banned in the middle of the process and I didn't gain anything 

 
Ah got you, Now it matches up with what I've found. 

So in relation to bans of this type there is some conditions that apply since you did transfer money between multiple characters and have four characters currently. Three of the four will be deleted and the one left will receive a full character wipe. This means that all money, inventory, vehicles ect will be removed from the remaining character, You will simply keep your roleplay story and things you've learned within RP including the people you've met. Do you agree to these terms?

From the above name you mentioned in your appeal I assume you wish to keep Joey Phelps, If not can you state the character you wish to keep ? 

On top of this have you taken the time to read our server rules both GTA and Community rules?

 
Yeah that sounds completely fair, I've read all the rules on my time away so no problems occur, and yes Joey Phelps is the character I'd like to keep please

I've gone ahead and requested the full wipe of Joey and deletion of your three other characters. Please keep in mind this could take sometime to be completed however we will update the appeal once this has been done and move forward. 

 
We don't put a timeframe on it since appeals and the wipes overall do come as our lowest priority in a sense, So me giving any sort of time might be seen as misleading and it's something I'd not like to do. Either way the appeal will just remain as it is until it's done and we will update it when it's been completed, So it won't be timed out if that's the worry 🙂
