In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: The reason I was banned was I believe in a roleplay scenario I didn't value my life in the given situation and attempted to flee, this was highly unrealistic and I fully understand that given the circumstances. I can't fully remember if I was warned prior to this incident, but undoubtedly I was in the wrong.

Why should we unban you ?: After taking a long break after the punishment I have been able to look over my past actions, and I can clearly see where I went wrong and the actions I did that caused other players roleplay experience to be distracting and annoying. The ban served me good purpose to have a look at the way I approach roleplay servers and scenarios as to make the experience more engaging for myself and others. I believe I can and will add more to this roleplay server as I enjoy acting and approaching other players in the server and experiencing new and hilarious scenarios, as well as creating this same feeling for others, new or old to the server. I really enjoyed this server and I believe in my arrogance that I got carried away with the experience and ended up making a silly price and paying the proper price. I really hope to play this roleplay server again, please see this as my genuine apology to the staff and others I disturbed and took time from.

Not only did you now value your life, you also ended up combat logging. 

Please quote me the rules you broke and explain to me why you think we have them in place.

Hi Sammy, thank you for taking your time to answer.

The rules I broke are as such:

"(G2.4) Value of Life - At all times you are to value your life, if you are clearly outnumbered or at an obvious disadvantage you should comply with demands."

"(C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained."

In regards to why these rules are in place, it is to preserve the roleplay server and its entirety to function, such as not valuing my life, this is highly unrealistic as no one would want to take the potential risk of being killed and also dealing with the situation in a light hearted manner. This rule allows players to act truthfully and realistically to their surroundings and act according to the situation, whether it be good or bad.

The same comparison can be said for combat logging, as in real life there is no "Alt-F4" shortcut that can be taken to remove yourself from any given situation, doing this completely ruins the point of roleplaying, it prevents the player from losing any of their possessions and allows for them to carry on with their roleplay as if nothing happened, the same could be said for when a player is in a difficult situation and they would realize the potential of losing their items such as money, this would be the cause with my situation after being killed in the river in my arrogance and defiance I refused to accept the situation that had occurred and closed the application. This rule is in place as it allows players to roleplay and take on the risk of potential dangerous situations during their roleplay, without the rule the whole point of risking your gear would be pointless and you would see players throwing themselves into unrealistic situations and just closing the application whenever they found themselves at a disadvantage.

You mentioned that this ban has served yourself a good purpose, So if found in a situation similar to this in the future what would stop you doing the same thing again?

Hi Stuart thanks for responding,

If a similar scenario would happen again, I would respond to the situation accordingly from my characters surroundings, such as being at gun/knife pointed at me, I would value my life and I would continue the roleplay, as this would not only benefit myself and the other players in the situation, but it would help me develop as a role-player on the server and hopefully lead to me being apart of something bigger in the server, if not that's fine since I can play on my own and grind for new cars to make my experience better.

Thank you for answering the above questions from Sammy and Myself. Now from looking over everything you have been gone for a few months and seem to have a better understanding what to do in these situations moving forward. Combat logging the same as other rules is a no go. I do hope you have learned from this and we will be expecting RP from yourself moving forward and not more rules being broken. I'll go ahead and unban you however I do hope not to see you hear again, Don't let me down.
