In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I believe to have been banned as I was not roleplaying my injuries appropriately as I had been shot in the head so I shouldn't be speaking and I was continuing to speak as if I was still alive or as if I was metagaming but this was due to an in game bug that I was unaware was activated at the time.
Why should we unban you ?: Before I get started I want to say I am extremely sorry for breaking the rules that were clearly stated and ruining somebody else's roleplay experience and immersion, It was not my intention to ever break the rules as I understand them clearly, as you can see from my clean record I hope this proves and I aim to uphold an high level quality of roleplay. I believe I have been wrongfully banned due to an in game bug in the server and not roleplaying my injuries. In the clip that was sent it shows me speaking throughout as all the events were happening, however as I was shot in the head I was roleplaying as if I was completely dead with no ability to speak whatsoever as my head has been removed by a shotgun shell. In the server an in game bug occurs where if you are using your radio while u are killed your radio stops working but your local voice is always activated regardless of whether you are toggling you're push to talk keybind or not. At the time I had multiple friends over in my bedroom where we were all drinking and having a good time and as they have never played GTArp before OOC I was explaining all the rules, the backstory to the situation I was in and what was being said in game as they couldn't hear what was going on in my headset. I was speaking to my friends in my room the entire night as we were all chilling whenever my push to talk keybind wasn't activated but at the time after my death I didn't realise that my microphone was bugged and picking up everything going on in my room and broadcasting it IC and I realise now how it must have looked on the person kidnapping me and I'm really apologetic for ruining his RP experience and breaking the immersion. When I was dead because the situation had been going on for a while prior to the clip I continued to explain to my IRL friends OOC what was happening explaining why I was murdered and that the people behind were undercover feds, where they might be taking me and that the car was smoking and it was never my intention to be talking IC or to anybody IC.
As i mentioned before because I was shot in the head and killed instantly character couldn't talk as that would of been Fail Roleplay and unrealistic in the situation I was in. Everything I was saying after the death was been said to my irl friends but transmitted through into the game because of a bug and I realise how this made me look as if I was speaking in discord to mates in the server and metagaming, and not roleplaying my injuries however I believe this was a complete misunderstanding. I always play with push to talk enabled and I didn't have any prior knowledge to this bug, and I can assure you that I would never use any form of another communication for example Discord as i would never be able to have IC interactions int he city as we would always speak over each other and it wouldn't be possible to hear anything (as the bug is caused by me using a radio in the game I believe this is enough evidence to show that I only speak to my gang members IC using the radio). Also when I was shot I saw it as a chance to be quiet and be OOC as I am dead and no able speak with anybody, so when I was OOC I was interacting with the people around me, having a laugh telling them what is going on as they literally saw me get shot in the situation and letting them know where I was being taken, at the time I was getting really excited as the person taking me hostage was about to get caught by the police and I was going to get away and the suspect was going to get arrested for killing me. I want to sincerely apologise for this situation and to assure you I am completely aware of the rules and the consequences I can receive for breaking them, I want to assure you that I never use any 3rd party software to metagame as I know that is completely against the rules but I truly believe that this report was a complete misunderstanding based on a bug that occurred at the time.
