Reason given for your ban: C1.10 (Trolling)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: As this was nearly 3 years ago, I honestly can't remember. It is likely I was trolling with a group of friends and we caused issues in the server.

Why should we unban you ?: A lot of time has passed since that ban. I never got a chance to play the server in a legitimate way (my fault) and I'd like the opportunity to do so now. I was a pretty immature kid when this ban was issued so hopefully the time that has passed can warrant a second chance.

Good afternoon @Bowlcutkid, I hope all is well! 🙂

This may have been a while back however, you had created your character on exactly the same day you landed yourself on a permanent ban.
Is there nothing at all you can think of that would've sparked it, you would've done something serious. 

 
Honestly, nothing springs directly to my mind. I usually have a pretty good memory and I can recall myself and my friends getting banned on a lot of servers around that time for trolling and causing problems (RDM, VDM, probably mic spamming) but I really cannot remember exactly what we did. Sorry. 

The only thing I can think of is that we used to ask for increased bans. So if the admin said he's banning us for a week we'd ask for 2 weeks and then it keeps escalating -- I have gotten a few perma' bans through that before. I don't deny it's stupid but I can only assure you I'm more mature now (and don't hang around with those friends anymore).

Not really. We're talking 3 years ago now, a lot has changed in that time. During that time I've gone from being in school to studying in university and working for the Police. I'm not going to deny that was, at the time, the case. Me and my friends enjoyed being a nuisance and we did a lot of stupid stuff - as children do. This ban would have occurred during a day or two periods where we did server hop to cause problems, but it wasn't an extended period of time, nor is that behavior still a thing. I really wish I could recall exactly what happened but as you said, it was my first day on the server and I honestly can't remember Roleplay.co.uk from the next server on the FiveM list we got banned from. I can really only ask for a second chance as I have no way of recalling what events exactly occurred.

This may well have been 3 years ago now, however I am obviously going to be cautious that I'm potentially letting a player back into the community whom is going to receive a permanent ban again within a few days.

Please tell me your intentions if you are to return to RPUK? I want to hear a backstory you've got in mind?
What character(s) are you looking to have here, what is their backstory and storyline within the city? What do you hope to achieve?

I can understand the concern, sure. I mostly fly under the radar in almost every server I've been apart of since then so I don't intend to be banned within a few days, or even intend to be banned period. I know a lot of people probably say that, as few people intend to get banned, but I'm good at following rules nowadays 🙂

Personally, my intent is to go down the Police RP route again. I know I do a variation of it for a living but Policing is typically a passion for most of us involved -- it's certainly not the pay that keeps us around. I've played quite a few "serious" role-play servers that were more text-based recently and while I do have a basic outline of a backstory I tend to follow, I do more enjoy just letting my characters develop more naturally in the server environment! At least that's where I tend to have more fun and it feels more natural. 

I haven't given my aspirations much thought beyond joining the Police in the server as currently I'm not unbanned and I'd rather not get my hopes up for something that might not happen. I would like to get involved in RPU/traffic so that would be a very basic goal.

I appreciate your speedy responses throughout this appeal.
After reviewing this, I am inclined to give you a second chance on the server to prove yourself as it has indeed been some time since you received a ban.

I am taking your word that your attitude has indeed changed and you're actually here for roleplay purposes.
If it turns out you are not here for roleplay, you'll be very quickly placed back onto a ban, any ban you receive within the next 6 months from now will be a permanent ban.
