In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I stole a police vehicle with a police officer in the back seat. He pointed a firearm at me from the back seat and I took liberties and didn't value my life to the extent that I should have.
Why should we unban you ?: I do not wish to make excuses and come up with a silly explanation, I can only explain my side and hope you can at least understand my perspective.
I attempted to assist a friend that was being arrested in a very chaotic and loud situation. He was put in a police car to be held or transported, I then got into the car thinking to save him, and drove away with him still inside it. A police officer was also sitting in the vehicle, in the dark back seat. After driving off, a short back and forth began where he tried to get me to pull over. After becoming frustrated he told me he had a firearm to the back of my head and demanded I pull over. I wasn't sure if he actually had a firearm out because I couldn't see it, regardless, with it being a roleplay server, I should've just pulled over. Instead, I stopped briefly and then quickly started driving again. The officer then shot his gun a few times and the vehicle ran out of fuel.
It's hard to rationalise exactly why I did what I did. I could mark it down to a severe lapse of judgement, stupidity, or adrenaline. It's honestly probably a mix of all three. The officer involved likes to joke around and at that moment I didn't take him entirely seriously, I also didn't comprehend fully the situation I was in. I had a loud radio that was making noise, people speaking to me inside the car and the stress and adrenaline of the incident. I can only apologise and say that this situation is not indicative of my overall roleplay on the server for the past year and a half.
I received a permanent ban this time because I had just been unbanned from a permanent ban. I was banned previously for making a silly, inconsiderate joke about the Queen. During my time on the server, these two bans have been the only punishment I have received in my time playing.
I am frustrated with myself because I know the rule that I was in breach of and understand how important it is for the standard of roleplay and integrity of the entire server. Without the core G2.4 rule the server would cease to function, I failed to uphold a very basic rule that is necessary and integral to how the server works, runs and operates. I took some time away before appealing to read the rules, take a step back, and hopefully appeal with a new perspective after thinking about my conduct and how I affected the people around me.
I have attempted to explain my perspective, however, I make no excuses, I am responsible for the rule I broke. I should have held myself to a higher standard and not let myself slip. I can only apologise and hope you will look at my time played and see this as a blip in an otherwise good record.
