In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Around 10 months ago, I was around the police station and I noticed that the textures around me were disappearing and reappearing, especially the electricity box just outside the station. Shortly after I decided to jump on the box and I noticed that I turned invisible, and when I got off my character was still not on my screen. Once I seen this I was going around on my bike asking people if they could see me, when they said they could not I made the unfortunate decision to follow a police officer into the back rooms of the station and hide out in the garage. After a while of hiding, I took out my knife and stabbed the officer. Rightfully so, I was instantly banned. The ban reason was using an illegal client but it was a bug abuse, either way I fully deserved the ban.

Why should we unban you ?: Firstly, I want to apologise for using AI for my last unban appeal. Truthfully I thought AI would help me articulate my appeal better than I would on my own. Now for this appeal, I will outline the incident that got me banned in detail, as seen above, then I will explain why I think I should be unbanned.

Now, why I believe I should be unbanned. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the server up until that point and after a long time away from the server, I am eager to start roleplaying again. I believe I have matured as a person over the time away and I can promise to be a respectful and law abiding player on the server. I will also take any penalty you see fit upon returning to the server ie. deletion of all characters etc if you do choose to unban me.

As much as we're happy that you're eager to return, this is not really a reason for us to unban you...


You were clearly aware of the fact that your character had turned invisible, now whether this was as a result of a bug or not doesn't really matter; the fact of the matter remains; you knowingly and maliciously took advantage of this, got into peoples vehicles, punching people and killing them. 
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this was indeed the result of a bug, and not the use of any malicious third-party software - why troll, mass RDM and exploit the fact that you were invisible? 

Why not make use of the many ways of contacting staff and / or other players for help, such as;

1. OOC chat
   
2. TeamSpeak
   
3. Discord
   

...or simply relog in hopes of resolving the issue?

You're right, I knowingly did these things and take full responsibility for these actions, looking back on this now I realise how my movements were completely outside of the rules as set out in the rulebook. 

I was in a unique position and decided to look for attention, and try to make people laugh through what I was doing. Looking back, I realise how stupid this was.

I didn't contact staff through the listed channels because I thought it wasn't a serious bug, that maybe it would resolve itself. Investigating further, I noticed people didn't see me. In this state, I decided to take advantage of it and truly regret that.

I'd like to also mention the reason for not requesting an unban sooner; I figured I could get a similar experience through other similar RP servers, but found out throughout the past few months that no other servers compare to RPUK, your staff team is by far the best I've seen, and it made my experience in the server even greater, so I decided to see if there was any possibility of a second chance here.

If given the chance, I'd even get into a call with a staff member to explain the situation further, and details of the bug itself and my actions.

I trust that you understand the severity of your actions and will not repeat this - I'm willing to give you a second chance.
As per the 'Fair Bans System', any ban within 6 months of today must be appealed (Permanent). 

In future; if something doesn't seem right, contact staff and ask. We don't bite..!
