Why do you think you were banned: Going off of the info/warnings we have had, I can only go off of what I have been given and what I have reflected on. Going off of this, as it is all we have from the staff team, including whilst we were unbanned to now, as quoted below.
"The Alliance', have been found involved in activities deemed disruptive towards the community in one way or another, be it through direct action or knowledge of other's without taking any steps to rectify or report this behaviour."
The alliance did receive 1 warning the whole time we was around, staff teleported to us 1 time, 5-6 months before the ban maybe longer. so I assumed the issues were fixed as we NEVER had another "warning". You said, "without taking any steps to rectify or report this behaviour." this is impossible without understanding you don't like said behaviour. being new to the role of "leader of a group" I thought the lack of communication was normal, I was clearly wrong as you seem to think some sort of comms were being relayed, this is absolutely not true. I always gave this community, so much time, only to be treated like somebody who doesn't exist. Along with other members, who were not apart of the alliance they just had joined, them being banned is my fault and your lack of acknowledgement on my last appeal has made members like them who never broke a rule feel the staff team is "out to get us" and they don't want to appeal as they are worried. In my opinion this just goes against what the forums are for people shouldn't feel like they cant appeal. People shouldn't be held accountable for others. I have seen people get unbanned whilst being associated with the worst of the worst. these people are associated with people who as you claim "have had a decline in RP standards" and I feel it is wrong that they stay banned without proper explanation. I ask for the staff leads to deal with this appeal if possible as I don't want any bias involved from people we may of had interactions with in game, not saying that will happen, I just think talking to leads will help avoid that.
Now before I made the alliance I had a character called "Deano" and I was a member of "the ballas" and this group I thought at the time was the biggest, longest lasting, WL gang in the server, so of course when offered I joined. fighting police near enough everyday, robbing as soon as we got on the game, all that kind of stuff and not being banned or warned for it Kind of set a tone for the 10 Ballas we had in alliance over the course of its run... Most of them being in higher up roles. I am saying, being used to a certain kind of play style within the server and not really having being warned for it, other than someone mumble it with clear disinterest, with a clear intent to carry on the way we did. This lead me to believe all the fighting was normal. Then to make alliance and have big WL gangs come to us and start a war, we thought this was how it goes as long as its within the rules. now for me to sit here and say there was 0 RP just to "win you over" would just be me lying and I'm not here for that. we always held meetings we would talk with the gangs they knew what we wanted, they were always given the option to meet and roleplay, I have lots of roleplay clipped. Most WL gangs make frag videos so the RP video idea's were never met with much excitement, and I never had much say anyway as far as editing goes as I didn't care, people had been making frag videos for years I didn't think there was an issue with it at the time, we had a really good RP vid for the grove war that corrupted and we never got back to it. Other than grove, I don't think we had a war that was over a month, and I liked that, I hated the long wars. I believe them to be the main factor in the recent frag mentality that had developed in the community at that time.
Now with all that being said I understand that we had a mentality that was bad for the server, and was in no position to be fighting police like we did, being a smaller gang we should of been a lot more cautious about what we did in game and I see that now. I just feel the lack of communication is what lead to the people of alliance feeling as if they could act this way. Now the only other "warning" we had was in game and that is the reason I haven't mentioned it yet, this was great RP offered from the police and we went with it, it was a really good meeting and I liked the look of it, Now being given a warning in game we expected the outcome to be in game, gangs in the past had life, we was so down! But of course you had other plans and if I could of foreseen this I honestly would of done anything I could to change, I would of even disbanded alliance if asked to.
My plans if I return is to continue the Alan Fish storyline, without alliance. Being the leader of a gang for the first time I never could've anticipated the stress and do not plan to revisit that. I just want to play with the people I have become mates with over the years and show that I absolutely can roleplay to a high standard. I wont be returning to any gangs right away and will play on Alan Fish for a while to see what other paths and storylines I could be apart of or create. During my time in Coalition and ballas I was praised for my roleplay and never received any stick from staff. I know this is to be expected I get that, just thought it was worth mentioning.
I have wrote this appeal as I am frustrated with having all these people banned under my name, when in reality its select members that you have issues with, some of these people you have banned are longstanding, loyal members of RPUK and in my opinion deserve a second chance. I personally think this just looks bad on a server that is NOT. You have loyal members of your community who joined alliance, had 0 warnings and thrown to the side like they didn't invest all these, and without regret, 1000's of hours into RPUK. We was given a date to appeal, 6 months from the day, then when we took our time to appeal we were thrown to the side, due to some clear underlying issues you seem to have with members who we can not speak for. I understand some... not so smart people spammed unbans, but me along with others shouldn't be ignored because of there lack of patience.
