Why do you think you were banned: I think there was a cocktail of things that led to the ban, I don't think it was one specific thing we did. I'd say, win mentality, fighting police when we should be building a story, fighting police in general is unrealistic in my opinion was something I made a habit of coming from ballas where we would fight police at any chance we got really. Not an excuse just the only way to put it really. These things, with I'm sure a couple others, are bad for the community and I am hoping to return and show I have learnt from them.
Why should we unban you: Hello, how is everyone?
Looking at it from a fresh perspective I can see how we became an issue, Constant fighting with other gangs, then when police would try to roleplay and arrest us or take us in we would make it a gunfight. I understand as a criminal your obviously not supposed to win every encounter or even attempt to do so, especially with police. And especially as a gang coming up, we should of feared the police really, but I think having 15+ young lads with a chip on there shoulder it takes someone with a lot of patience and I just am not that person I have no patience. But as I said seeing it from a fresh POV and not having all the drama that comes from the server clouding my thoughts, its very easy to see why we were banned, I trust staffs decision and understand there was a lot more to it than just the "Drop in roleplay standards" It was pretty much the constant fighting plus the win mentality when it came to most roleplay situations, I can't imagine the videos helped much either, I can't really say much about the vids as I didn't make them or even have access to the channel. I also understand some people from the blanket ban acted stupidly out of anger and made silly comments and other things, I advised them to not do that, but I have no control over these people, I am not responsible for another mans actions. I understand I was responsible for the roleplay standards of alliance but I can't speak for anything OOC.
RPUK was my first roleplay server. Since my ban, exploring other servers I found that most of them are just a waste of time, I never felt that way with RPUK, I think what separates it from other servers is the community and the consistency that is held when rules are broken. I am no angel when it comes to rule breaks and understand that I have a bad record, this being my third ban. Aside from my hiccups along the way I always enjoyed RP and always tried to make a situation fun for both sides, I genuinely believe that and am sure there is a couple people to back me up I have always tried to RP weather it be deemed good or bad RP I always made an attempt at it. I feel like I was always fair with encounters and sometimes even made friends through "bad" ones. My favourite thing to do was get a fresh/new player and build him up, some went on to be part of the community for ages and some still are. I think that's what makes roleplay what it is, meeting new people and taking the next step to develop your character and his or her story.
If you ever do decide to unban me I would be coming back with a completely fresh mindset and attitude towards roleplay. I truly know I can provide great roleplay and have been in the community for 3 years or so doing so, met some of the soundest people along the way and it would be a great shame for all that to go over something I believe that I can learn from. I learnt everything I know about roleplay from this server and would be wounded to not be able to continue it.
I would like to finish my appeal with an apology, not just to staff but to the new players who joined and was "caught in the crossfire" of this blanket ban. although I can't control what others do OOC, I made the alliance F6 and have to take responsibility, at the end of the day I added all these people to the group and was "in charge" therefore I am at fault here.
