Why do you think you were banned: I was banned because after i was shot and killed, i got taken to pillbox where i left my items before being ziptied. I was then taken to a different location and later killed and executed. After respawning i went to reclaim my items.
Why should we unban you: In this situation i did not think of how my actions could affect others creating an unfair advantage. I did not consider the rule when i went to go get my items and was uninformed that this was a rule break at the time. This is my own fault as i should have took the time to look over the rules and get a deeper understanding before going to do something like this, or even make a ticket and ask staff before doing so. After looking back at the situation, i realise i have stepped over the line and now understand why this rule is in place and why this is not allowed as it doesn't make sense in roleplay to go back and collect items after i had died. Although the circumstances are unfortunate, i have reflected on this situation and i am using this as a learning experience to, if given the chance, avoid ending back here.

I apologise for my actions and have learned from this situation and will not do this in the future. I am distraught to be back in this position on the forums as since i have been given another chance i have tried to hold myself to a higher standard of roleplay than i had previously. Since being back i have tried to explore different venues of roleplay and have enjoyed my time exploring these different roleplay scenarios and building up a different character.

Secondly, you're gathering quite a wrap sheet of bans and warnings for yourself here. I'm not confident at all that you are 'learning from this experience'.
How many more times are we going to find you back here, upon another rule break, after you've been referred to reading the rules to gather more understanding?

What is it, that you've exactly learned from this rule break? Why is this rule in place?

Hello @Violet_ , i am very well thanks for asking,

Now, I firstly want to call into question your previous unban conditions. Can you tell me a bit about that?

My previous unban conditions were as listed:

• You cannot play as "Barry Clevedon" for atleast 3 months from your unban date.
• During these 3 months we want to see you actively play as a different character and not just wait it out.
• If you accidently log onto "Barry Clevedon" you must log off straight away and notify staff.
• You must adhere and abide by all Server Rules at all times, any rule breaks within 6 months will result in an immediate permanent ban.
  
  These conditions were given to me after i was banned for RDM. The time away was healthy for me to evaluate what my focus was in the server. The conditions were helpful with this because i had created a new character and had went back to my roots of roleplay from when i first started here. The time i spent away from my main character helped me realise where my roleplay took a decline. During my time on my new character i have really enjoyed getting involved in a different aspect of the server and have maintained a higher standard of roleplay. I had seen the massive decline in my roleplay since joining Cutlass as i had put myself under a lot of high pressure situations without giving myself a much needed break. Now that i have left Cutlass, i feel i can get back on track on where i want my roleplay to be. I feel when i was in Marabunta, i held myself to a higher standard due to staff being in the gang, which gave me inspiration for a lot of scenes i took part in.

  I have no intention on ending up on this end of the forums another time, as i know i am capable of a lot more and have really took the time to read over the rules and fully understand them. I feel i have learned from my last RDM ban as i have pushed myself to a higher standard when in those situations and have not let myself fall below the line.

  At the time i was banned for NLR, i was unsure on what i had done wrong and was annoyed at myself as i know i can do better. Since being banned again, i have looked back on the situation and understand that was i did was wrong, and how it can affect others as it gives me an unfair advantage because in roleplay i am dead, not knowing of what items i had. Now knowing where i went wrong i will not commit this offence again and will not go down the path of making a stupid mistake to put my back on a ban.
  
  This rule is in place to create stability on the server and to ensure all players have a fun experience. This is also in place so people can understand that once their character has respawned, they are not to know about the situations leading to their death, including weapons, or the people that killed them.

Can you tell me in some detail, what path your character went down? What legal route he got into?
What was happening around the time you were banned, in RP?

As for pushing yourself to a higher standard, did that just apply to one rule? As your standard from this ban carries across a 'win-mentality', and are unable to deal with the loss of the situation and more predominantly, your items.
You may see how it was wrong now, and what lead you to be banned. But I'd like to point out that the NLR rule is one of the more well-known rules amongst the server and its players.
And since you've been a part of the community for a while, and had previous bans, I would have expected better from you.

So, what's going to be different this time, should you be unbanned? Why should we give you a chance?

Hello @Violet_ i appreciate you taking the time to deal with my appeal,

Can you tell me in some detail, what path your character went down? What legal route he got into?

My character 'Remy' had gone down the path of wanting to become a security officer as he had always dreamed of. He moved to Los Santos after getting the money to afford the plane and proceeded with his dream. To begin with he went around the city meeting lots of people and getting his foot around the areas, knowing where to go and where not to go. After some time he met some other citizens at Mirror Park Motors and Auto Exotic. Remy had then started to get to know the people around the areas and eventually asked the owner at the time if he could become security. After a few more days of Pete getting to know Remy, Pete allowed Remy to become low level security for the dealership. After a couple weeks Remy then went to Auto Exotic's and offered the same deal with them but got refused. During this time he had also put in his application to work in Auto Exotics and had eventually been accepted and had started as an apprentice doing servicing inside the garage. Remy decided he had been low level security for long enough and asked Pete if he could become a car salesman instead of security as he had applied for G6 and he was allowed. Remy then went and did his G6 interview where he was accepted but yet to do his induction.

During the time i got banned, i had flew in and the Mirror Park dealership was being taken by the COC. The group around me was starting to disband, causing others to go down different paths leaving me to do things on my own. This led to me wanting to put more effort into G6 and Auto Exotic.

This did not apply to one rule, but also applied to the way in which i played my character, including different stories and experiences i could create for myself and others going down different paths i had not gone down before.

If i was to be unbanned, i plan to carry on creating a story for my Remy character as i really enjoyed the time i spent creating it and building it up to where it is now. I am also going to make sure that i fully assess every situation and ensure that i do not come close to breaching the rules in the future and do not make any rushed decisions. During my time away, i have took many steps to make sure i understand where i went wrong and what not to do. I feel i will be able to provide lots of great roleplay as i had previously done with Remy and Barry.

So what lead to you being incapacitated in RP? What was happening during this time? Because it seems to me, you were swaying back into the 'lifestyle' of your previous character following your unban conditions from your last appeal.

How can I be sure that, if you were to be unbanned, you'd continue with your G6 application and process?

So what lead to you being incapacitated in RP? What was happening during this time?

Before I got incapacitated, I had kidnapped an individual and placed them in my car as I thought they was the person that had robbed my friend earlier in the day. I was driving away from the area I grabbed them from and then head popped on the way towards mirror park. Once I had loaded back in I was surrounded by a few cars telling me to put my hands up. I proceeded to drive off as I was in a faster car than them and my engine was running so proceeded to value my life and try to flee the area before shots were fired and after a gun fight happened, it ended with me incapacitated and dumped at the lighthouse.

How can I be sure that, if you were to be unbanned, you'd continue with your G6 application and process?

If I were to return, I plan on continuing the G6 process on my Remy character and the other roleplay avenues he was going down as this was something I really enjoyed. The interactions I had on Remy were some of the best I have had on this server and have made me want to pursue this character long term. G6 has always been something I had wanted to try and finally have the chance to do so due to my application being accepted after many attempts. I would love to carry it on and provide lots of fun roleplay scenarios for myself and others.

As you claim you found a person who potentially robbed your friend - However - In the report, it claims you were both 'Out on the Rob'.

To answer this question, me and Xavier were out looking for the individuals that had robbed our friend earlier in the day. When Xavier says ‘Out on the Rob’ this insinuates his part of it but for me it was simply a get back.

As for your G6 path, can you explain to me how you intend to develop that character whilst in G6, and what the characters intentions are in that faction? What RP will you provide?

To start off with, Remy’s plans for G6 are to settle in and learn the ropes of the job getting to know everyone and learning how to do the different parts of it. For example key cutting or processing a PIC. Once he has learned the ropes his plans are to apply for different roles within G6 and get the different qualifications and skills from each role with plans of later becoming high up in G6. The role play I will provide, consists of me being loyal to the job and providing high quality role play to others around me. Whether that means standing and protecting pillbox, taking a PIC to prison or doing security for events. I plan to carry on playing this character, evolving his storyline further.

I´m not sure you understand how disappointing it is to see you here once again, for something so incredibly stupid. You had started to turn a corner for the better and decided to fuck it all up for what?

You said you didn´t understand what you did wrong at first and I´d really like to understand how you came to the conclusion that it would be okay to grab your things from the hospital after your character DIED... What made you think this would make sense?

To answer this question, i wasn't thinking at the time, in retrospect the rule makes complete sense and i was being an idiot. I should have taken more time to consider all aspects of the rule rather than just my perception of it. I am disappointed in myself as i know i can hold myself to a higher standard. You are right in the fact that this does not make any sense as my character is dead and would have no recollection of the events that had led up to his death.

Here is what we will do, and I advise you to read the following very carefully and stick to it. Should you not, a 6 month cooldown will be automatically added next time!

The old conditions will be reinforced as follows:
- You cannot play as "Barry Clevedon" for atleast 3 months from your unban date.
- During these 3 months we want to see you actively play as a different character and not just wait it out.
- If you accidently log onto "Barry Clevedon" you must log off straight away and notify staff.
- You must adhere and abide by all Server Rules at all times, any rule breaks within 6 months will result in an immediate permanent ban and come with a 6 month automatic cooldown!

Now to the new addition. I have mentioned to you in the past, everytime you find yourself in a gunfight, you go silly and screw yourself over.

- For the next 3 months, you are not allowed to hold any firearms. How you roleplay that out, is up to you. Should we see you even touching a water pistol, you are done.
If you do end up joining G6, we will allow you to carry necessary equipment while ON DUTY. The same goes for hunting rifles, should you become a ranger/hunter.

These conditions are tied to your character lock and stand for the next 3 months.

Let me know when you have read the above and agree to the conditions outlined. This includes a pocket wipe, obviously, considering you should have lost what you had on you.
