Reason given for your ban: combat logging

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: i was banned for combat logging even though i know its wrong i should of tried to resolve the sit after i served my time but at the time i was frustrated and annyoed although this isnt a valid excuse i do really apologies as i know this brings a bad name to the server and i would like to play this server with my friend in the future hopefully

Why should we unban you ?:  i truely belive i should be unbanned as i know its wrong and wouldnt do it again as ive reflected on what i did, I've always known it's wrong to combat log, it only happened in the first place due to a wrong mind set.
Combat logging shouldn't happen as it ends rp scenes and stories, it affects other rpers rp too. but at the time it felt like i didnt even get a chance to explain what had happeed as my car was stlen from the taxi depot and was took on a joy ride and impounded for the whole of the weekend so at the time i was really annoyed so i went to the pd to resolve the issue but it took me over a day to fianlly talk to the officer who did it as i was greeted by him he told me he could release it if i went and sorted the issue he seemed nice and genuine at the time so i trusted him so i gave him my machete after he asked me to pat me down i gave him a valid rp sotry on why i had that as i told him i had been hired to farm fruit for a local shop after he said thats fine and i walked in the back i was met with an officer that pointed a tazer ast me so i complied then he tooke me downstairs is where i combat logged as he didnt want to listen to what i had to say and told me he recognised me in the same clothes even tho i had changed clothes 10 minutes prior because i was being hunted for running over a person who tried to rob me so then when i got downstairs i disconected after i rejoined i went to hand myself over and my game and sound was bugged and couldnt hear the officer for the most part so i relogged and gave myself in then when he put me in a cell he left me for over an hour without being spoken too when i finally got taken i was told only the length of my sentence and that it was triplled because of the combat loggin which i would be annoyed too but then insulted me telling me im scum which a little harsh for a rp faction thats meant to be reprosenting the city. i th4en asked for his badge number and a hire up and was told no and fuck off so on the way up i got frustrated and disconnected again i know what i did was wrong but this is my first encounter with an rule brekas in 8+ mothsn as i havent been able to play it id really like to return to the server so i can play with my friend and be able to establish new connections through the server i really do apologies and would appreciate if i was to be unbanned and i wouldnt do it again id always see the sit through and go through the right steps to resolve issues in the future thank you for reading

Please quote me the rule you broke and explain to me why it is in place and what the consequences would be if it wasn´t. 

Also, what options, instead of breaking rules, do you think you would have to deal with police conduct or rule breaks from other people?

 
(C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first). This rule is in place to provide the best roleplay possible in all situations and not to give unfair advantages and give parties a way out of a punishment, other options I could of gone to instead of rules breaks could be to roleplay my way out file a police report or take it up with higher ups within the faction after the roleplay has finished 

 
You've mentioned that you was in the wrong mindset. How can we be sure you wont simply be in the wrong mindset should we offer you another opportunity? 

You also mention that you would go through the right steps to resolve issues should you be allowed back, Can you elaborate on this please?

 
I would make sure I’m in the right mindset and to think twice by thinking of this moment of when I was banned and how I don’t want to be stuck banned forever, I would also go through the right steps to resolve by filing a police report if I believe they were in the wrong or contacting a higher up within the faction and roleplay it from there

 
During this encounter you had where you indeed did combat log, Was you playing with anyone else at the time? 

 
We're yous talking via discord ect or just using in game methods? 

 
Ummm, So can you explain how your friend showed up on the bridge by MRPS waiting for you in between you combat logging? Since no phone or radio was used at this point between logging off and coming back. 

 
I msged hime via disc he asked where I was I told him I escaped pd but didn’t tell him about any rule breaks he only tried to get me once as I told him how I escaped after and he didn’t want to get in any trouble

So when you mentioned that you used in game items to communicate it wasn't the truth, So why did you decide to lie? 

Also can't you see what you done broke another rule on top of the combat logging? 

 
You asked if I was playing with some one at the time I the guy who picked me up came on for less than 5 minutes the guy I was with for a few hours before I lost him was the one I was playing with till I lost him 

 
So why did you break another rule after combat logging?  

 
Idk i wanted to speak to my friend majority on the server communicate using disc and stuff I didn’t think it’s something bad tbh but apologies for doing it tho

So just because someone else does something that makes it fine to do in your book? So if I decided go and kill everyone in hospital are you going to copy me? 

 
No what I was trying to say was I did t think it was a rule break as a few servers I’ve been in it is t classed but after speaking to Stuart about it I now realise it’s a rule break and I won’t be doing it again

 
So throughout this appeal you haven't convinced us to give you another chance. After doing some more digging I don't think you are the kind of person we want to the server. Therefore we will be denying this appeal. You can try your luck in 6 months.
