Why should we unban you: At the time of the ban I was very new to RP in general and it was my first week in the city, I explained originally that I was unaware of the incident at the time due to me being on the phone to my friend who does not play the game and having two different inputs for audio. At the time I had my AirPods as an output (mic) and Headset as my input, and when I’ve gone to change my camera round my screen has frozen so I have proceeded to click up down left right as these are the phone camera inputs but when they didn’t work I decided to alt f4 expecting an acceptance screen to load up and it didn’t. Due to the time being 5am and me being at work in the morning I decided to go to bed completely unaware of the situation. Roughly 10 minutes after the incident took place I was notified by my friend Saul who an hour before had a previous encounter with Jay Macs and Officer White/Whyte to which they resolved it. As soon as I was notified by Saul, myself an Jim entered QE room and mentioned Jay Mac’s in the GTA 5 Roleplay section of the discord, I explained to him that I had turned my WiFi off for the night as usual but would turn it on to get back online. I tried for about 20 minutes whilst remaining in contact in the discord channel until I asked Jay if we could resolve it the following day as my WiFi wasn’t connecting to my PC and I had work in 3 hours to which he didn’t respond.
I was then contacted by Saul saying that Jay Mac’s had put a report through and due to my lack of understanding in the rules (which was made apparent in the previous denied appeal) I was under the impression that if I commented to appeal the original report on the website or mentioned it in the discord from then on without a staff response to the OP it would be considered “pecking head” about the situation. Again due to my lack of understanding I ALSO didn’t realise that it would come with an automatic 1 month cool down period and when I found this out I was gutted as I believed it would be sorted in the appeal process as I stated in my previous denial that I was fully willing to meet Jay Mac’s or any other Officer at the exact point I would fly back in and they could complete the arrest.
Since this incident I have been able to gain a lot of experience of what RP really is and how fun it is with all the little intricacies. I have been playing on different servers due to my ban like space turtles and drill uk whilst still remaining in contact with the friends that I have met in Roleplay UK. As you can tell by the time I’m posting this I’ve been counting down the days to appeal, this is because I’ve been educating myself on the City’s story lines via the GANG YouTube. Not only that but me and my In City friend Jim have previously discussed how we can use our real world experience to start running Social Events in the city. We have Graphics Designers and Professional Video Editors on Standby to make everything professional including Posters leading up to events and Afterparty Videos summarising the events where we could put on YouTube tweedle or anywhere that is preference of you guys.
I am very sorry for my lack of understanding of the seriousness of the situation originally and knowing what I know now about the rules I should have tried a lot harder to get it resolved at the time of the incident. Like I said over the past month I have familiarised myself with what is expected of me in RP and vow that if I am lucky enough to get another chance, I will stick to my word and discuss a time and place for staff/officers to meet me and complete the original arresting process to the full extent and also assure you that in future will promise to add nothing but my best into your city.
