Reason given for your ban: Breach of rule c2.3 (Combat Logging)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: An incident happened where I was selling drugs in the morning of the 22nd December 22 , two guys rolled up on me and tasered me and held me up, it was all fair and square and they took me to a different location. I then stopped hearing them for about 30 seconds and my game wasn’t moving and I was unable to drop the goods as they asked. I live and work in the army and spend time on an army camp and when I’m playing there I occasionally have connection issues and I imagine that was why it kicked me out of the game and I was unable to rejoin. Therefore I was rightfully reported and banned for combat logging.

Why should we unban you ?: I’m new to the server and didn’t intentionally combat log, I have never had a ban before and I am happy to continue the RP/compensate the lads with what they wanted to take as they did a good RP and got me fair and square.I feel that it’s not entirely my fault as I tried to log back in multiple times and had no success However I do fully take responsibility for my actions after this incident as after speaking to a admin he made me aware that I should have joined the discord to try and speak to someone to try and get the matter resolved. Like I said I’m new to the server and going forward this will be the action I take to prevent this from happening again.

I have re-read the rule that I have broken
((C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).)
and will at any other instance follow the rule at the end to try and message them when I get back on and if I can’t get on then I will use the discord and the community options available to contact for help. (It was my fault for not thinking of that as an option to use discord) I will also ensure I get their details using sesh heads and make contact with them any other time.

I have served my month cool-down and it would be a shame to get banned this early on in my RPUK career And I have been robbed a couple of time and had lots of good RP interactions during this and hopefully you will take my word that this is an isolated incident. Many thanks.

Hi there Sammy,

that is correct it was in the morning.

Thinking about it, I’m not sure if the date was correct, I might be going from the date I was banned, I didn’t take note of the day that the incident occurred as I didn’t know if anything was going to come of it. I put in a unban appeal after it happened, it was denied as I wasn’t banned yet however I wanted to make staff aware that it had happened and that’s where I got the information from one of the staff members for action to take if it happens again, you can find said report in the denied section of unbanned appeals. That´s absolutely fine, the date or time is not super important. 

Before we would be able to unban you, I just need to ask if you just lost connection and there was nothing you could really do? 
Your internet went down and then your game did too, is that correct?

Okay no problem,

I’m not sure if it was a computer issue or a connection issue. My internet didn’t appear to be down my end but it left the server and I couldn’t get back in straight away.

In hindsight there wasn’t nothing I could do,  Like I said in my appeal there was avenues  to try and sort the situation out but I was focused on getting back in the game and didn’t think to contact on a different format I just stopped there and didn’t think anything more of it. I did try and reach out to try and get the issue sorted in terms of an unban appeal but was advised that it wasn’t how it works. So I understand why it appears to be a combat log and the reasoning why I have been banned.
