Reason given for your ban: Combat Logging (C2.3)

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because I logged off of the server straight after being downed/incapacitated. It was an unfair action for all involved.

Why should we unban you ?: I think I should be unbanned because I have fully understood why I was banned and believe the ban has done it's purpose in making me rethink and understand that stupid actions have outcomes, I am very aware of the rules regarding combat logging however on this occasion I did something stupid which resulted in my ban. I understand that once I get myself into a roleplay scenario it must finish and I should only be on the server if I'm able to finish it. Me logging off after being downed halted the roleplay situation and was unfair for all parties. I rarely find myself in trouble regarding rule breaks, on this occasion I slipped up and did something stupid which lead to punishment.

So run me through of what happened that night? Why did you decide to log off? 

 
Hi,

So that night a group of us made our way through the police station to the stairs leading to the roof/helipad of the police station, it was basically just a big fight between police and the public.

As it was reaching the early hours of the morning I was wanting to log off, so I basically purposely got my character incapacitated.

After I was incapacitated by a police officer I logged off, I didn't do it out of anger or to save my character's items I just wanted the situation to end so I could disconnect.

 
Why did you get yourself into a lengthy scenario if you knew it was getting late? 

That is absolutely no excuse whatsoever... Not only did you deprive the other party off their roleplay after the gunfight, you also changed the odds for your character massively. The next time you would have logged on, noone would have known you were even involved in that situation and that would have been it. 

Did you at all think about those things or did you just not care at all?  

 
I understand that it's not an excuse and I have admitted wrong doing, honestly I didn't really think about the outcome of me disconnecting.

I wasn't really thinking, I was just thinking about putting an end of the scenario.

 
So what if I decide to unban you? What have you learned from this?

 
I’ve learnt that I should only be on the server if I am able to finish a scenario to the end, I’ve learnt that I should just wait until the end of the situation before disconnecting.

 
Very well. 
I will give you another chance, however, any ban within the next 6 months will be permanent and much harder to be unbanned from. Do not waste this...
