Unban Appeal for __James__
In-game Name: Dixon Ormous

Reason given for your ban: G5.1
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I assume it's because the name was a play on words.
Why should we unban you ?: The ban reason was G5.1, which according to your website is the following:
(G5.1) Character Names - Please use a valid first name, last name combo. Do not use names of well known characters, celebrities, political figures, criminals, terrorists etc…
The name is not used by well known characters, celebrities, political figures, criminals or terrorists to my knowledge. The name is actually valid as there are people that have been legally registered with this name.
If you check my account history, my account was originally called 'Ian Fowler' and I was falsely kicked 3 times for an invalid name as your staff kept mistaking it for 'Ian Beale' from Eastenders.

I changed the name on the last false kick as I was sick of being falsely kicked mid-gameplay and waiting in many hour long queues.
I noticed other people using play on words as their character names, such as 'Chris Packet', which is arguably still valid and it doesn't mention otherwise in the rule above so I assumed this one would be fine.
I was kicked a week after or so with my current name, but your staff member kicked me without the option to change it when re-joining. I asked for confirmation on this in OOC but did not receive a response. I assumed this kick was accidental. Please check the logs and you will see that this is the case.
As I have technically never been given the chance to change my name prior to being banned and play on words for names it's not strictly mentioned in the rules, I think it would be fair to issue an unban, force a name change and let you review my new name before joining.
The name I will be changing it to is 'Dixon Amous' as I need to keep it somewhat similar for roleplay purposes. Feel free to suggest another one if it's too similar or considered a play on words.
