Ban Reason: Community Ban 1.6/Severe toxicity
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for severe toxicity over 6 years ago.
My conduct was not of a high standard and I didnt respect the individuals involved or handle myself in the correct manner.I understand I went against rpuks values that day and I regret my actions and wish that I could change them. I take full responsibility for what I did and if I were to return to the community I would hold myself to a much higher standard than I did previously. I was young and had a lot of stuff going on. I am now a lot older and over the past 6 years I have matured alot as a person and I understand it is not right to conduct myself the way I did.
The ban came into effect 6 years ago.
In 2022 I felt like I wanted to be a part of the community again so I reached out to someone on discord. I am remorseful for my actions and if I am accepted back into the community I want to show that I can conduct myself in a much better manner and treat people with the respect they deserve.
I have a lot more emotional awareness and I am a mature adult now.
I acknowledge my actions and their effects and I want to show that I am capable of being better as a member of the community again.
Why should we unban you: I recognise that my previous behavior was extremely disrespectful and toxic towards the people involved. I have reflected on my actions and I understand how what I said was not to the standards required of not just rpuks players but a reasonable human being.
I understand the importance of treating people with respect and being a more positive individual.
During my time away from rpuk I have reflected on myself and have tried my best to develop myself as a person. I have grown alot as a person and have had many life experiences since my original ban that have gave me insight into the way I act.
My actions not only showed disrespect but also hindered the gaming experience for others. I have now comprehended the importance of fostering a positive and supportive community for all players, and I have gained valuable lessons from my past mistakes.
I am asking to rejoin the community because I miss the community and the roleplay. I also miss the social interaction and the good times I shared with others. I believe I can contribute to the community in a positive light by assisting new players and helping those who need it.
I am alot more thoughtful in my actions and I hope that I can make rpuk a better place especially for those who are new to roleplay games and maybe try to show them the proper way to act and treat people. I have spent my time away from the community trying to better myself. I have joined a university program in computing which starts in October and I have received support for my mental health which in hindsight was suffering severely at the time of the incident.
I have also spent my time gaming on different games such as gmod rp and arma 3.
Looking at all the factors I feel that I should be given another chance to contribute positively to the community and the server and help others get into the game.
If unbanned I will follow the rules and uphold the standards of rpuk. I will help others, I will engage in the community and I will most importantly show respect to everyone I come across.
