I was banned for logging out of a medic heli with a passenger in, with the intention of him dying as it fell to the ground.

Why should we unban you ?
I believe I should be unbanned as I understand this is a serious roleplay server, I always try to give the best RP possible to make everyones time on the server as enjoyable as possible.

In regards to the incident that happened, It occurred just under a week ago and someone has scrolled through my youtube channel, found it, and then used it to get me in trouble/banned. The video was not hidden as I was just having a laugh with a friend who i have known for a long time on the server and we had a chuckle about it afterwards (Hence why the video was uploaded). I had actually told jamie that i needed to go prior to him getting in my heli, and that it was a bad idea to jump in, which is why he knew i was going to do something.

Personally, I believe the phrase "No Harm, No Foul" Comes to mind. and at the end of the day, we all come on to the server to enjoy ourselves and have a bit of fun, thats all i was doing. I am well aware of the reasons why i was banned and i can see why i was banned, particularly blacklisted from the NHS which is fair and completely expected, It was abuse of medic vehicles to say the least.


I wasnt trying to gain an advantage, or save gear, I wasnt trying to make jamies gaming experience any less enjoyable. I was simply fucking about with a friend, I wasn't reported for this incident. Nobody was affected by this incident.

However rest assured, If unbanned no such incidents will happen again as I understand fully that this is a serious roleplay server and such things shouldnt happen.

@Jamie could confirm that him and I are friends and that i spoke to him about the incident after the fact and had a laugh about it, i'm sure that he will tell you that he had absolutely no problem if you ask him yourself.

Ofcourse they do. I always try to adhere my best to the rules, and i believe all of the time I manage this (besides silly rare mistakes)

However, With any rules, I believe there is some leeway for a bit of fun. and at that moment in time, its what i felt i was doing, i understand with hindsight that i was mistaken. 

My goal in this community to have as much fun, and enable as much fun for others as possible. 

and not trying to sound argumentative, there are dozens of videos on my youtube of people breaking rules where i have chosen to resolve and forget about them, why were all these videos not brought up for a ban? or is only self incrimination allowed? 

As a final point, I love playing on this community, I try my best to improve it everytime i log on. If you feel I'm a detriment to this community, then honestly I will accept the ban. but hopefully you can see it for what it is, just someone trying to have fun on a great server where no ones gaming experience is hindered. Like previously stated, these incidents will not happen again.

No the rules are not to be broken if you want to break rules then do so on a private Arma server with friends not on a live server dedicated to Roleplay.

Not sure why you thought it would be acceptable however if you do not understand our stance on the rules by now or change to accept it going forward then I’ll close the appeal

i am not sure why bans haven’t been given out for rule breaks in your other videos I guess the staff team was only approached with this video in a report, our staff team act upon reports outside the game server duties and do not have the resources to watch every single video

i will put this on hold while I watch all your videos this evening and hand bans out where the rules have been broken

@Wilco I understand that rules are not meant to be broken, I had no intention of breaking them. At the time, I wasn’t thinking of myself as trolling or combat logging. I just thought of it as fucking with a friend. Obviously with hindsight I can see what I did wrong and why it shouldn’t have happened. 

I understand the rules entirely and the staff’s stance on them, which is one of iron clad seriousness. Which is why going forth, messing about with a friend or not; no such incidents will occur again.

As for my videos, I wouldn’t want to see anyone banned for them. Because they’ve all been resolved with the relevant parties. And in all fairness, it would be a waste of your time to watch them. There’s quite a lot.
